Dean’s RNC Counterpart a Kook As Well

31 03 2006

Both DNC and RNC Chairmen think that the House Republicans are too right-wing on immigration.  (Yes, you read that right.)  To match the kookiness of Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, his counterpart in the Republican Party, Ed Gillespie, had this to say:

“Anti-immigration rhetoric is a political siren song, and Republicans must resist its lure by lashing ourselves to our party’s twin masts of freedom and growth, or our majority will crash on its shoals,” former Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie said last week in a speech to the conservative Federalist Society.

“The Republican majority already rests too heavily on white voters,” he said, arguing that Bush would not have won reelection in 2004 without the increased support of minority voters.

One more time, Mr. Gillespie: Of the national 3% swing in popular vote to Bush in 2004 compared to his 2000 take, 2.4 of that 3 percent was due to the shift in the votes of WHITE WOMEN.

Otherwise, I take this to mean that Gillespie doesn't want white people to vote Republican. At this rate, white people just might take that advice this November.

Ask For Everything and Learn Nothing

31 03 2006

Howard Dean in 2003:  "I still want to be the candidate for guys with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks."

Howard Dean in 2006:   "[The anti-immigration bill passed by the U.S. House, HB 4437] is a nonsensical proposal put out by far right-wingers in the Republican Party who have been endorsed for re-election by the president of the United States…..The president has a moral obligation to rein in the right-wing extremists in his party and stop this divisive rhetoric about immigrants."

School Board Non-Endorsements

31 03 2006

As the Council of Conservative Citizens is a 501(c)(4) tax exempt non-profit organization, it cannot get directly involved in partisan politics. Wheter or not the St. Louis City School Board constitutes partisan politics is unclear, so for the safety’s sake, be mindful of the fact that nothing in this post should be construed as an official CofCC endorsement.

But I can tell you what I am going to do in this Tuesday’s elections.

It doesn’t matter who wins these city school board seats on Tuesday. Nobody on this ballot gives me the impression that they will make any substantial changes. (After all, I don’t see the names Holt, Bugel, Fister or Kiel anywhere on this ballot.) You can go eenie-meenie-miney-moe, and it makes not a difference.

So the only thing that matters here is psychology.

I will cast my alloted votes for people who are NOT named Peter Downs or Donna Jones. The reason I don’t want Mr. Downs or Miss Jones to win is because Lizz Brown and much of the kook left in this city endorses them.

Their defeat would be a welcome psychological blow to Lizz Brown, the Arch Pundit, and all their ideological fellow travelers.

UPDATE: I found all the more reason not to vote for Mr. Downs or Miss Jones, on Downs’s own blog no less. Both of them are endorsed by Percy Green, Jamala Rogers and something called “Organization for Black Struggle.”

Hunka Hunka Burning Flag

31 03 2006

Here’s a welcome antidote to stories about Mexican Flags at American Schools.

Mexican students at Apache Junction (Ariz.) H.S. raised the Mexican Flag over the American Flag, and white students took the Mexican Flag off the staff and burned it.

Looks like reconquista will have to wait another day to come to Apache Junction, Arizona.

The Bush Presidency is Dangerous

31 03 2006

Michael Savage reported on his show last night that President Bush, while in Mexico, with Mexican President Vincente Fox and Canadian PM Stephen Harper, had this exact quote:

“Nationalism is dangerous.”

If you want to cringe upon hearing that the American President thinks that nationalism is dangerous, be of good cheer — to one degree or another, this has been the Official Policy of the American Federal government since 1861.

Two Holdouts

31 03 2006

Nebraska’s unicameral legislature just passed a conceal-carry bill for the state, and the state’s Governor promises to sign it. This leaves only two holdouts: Wisconsin and Illinois.

Our Sensitivities Don’t Matter

31 03 2006

Here are two related stories:

* The Borders chain of bookstores will not stack a certain periodical whose latest issue publishes the infamous Mohammed Cartoons. The chain's management claims that it fears for the safety of Borders employees and customers. The implication is that American Muslims will arsonize Borders Bookstores if they think one issue of one magazine contains blasphemous cartoons.

Whether this means that Pat Buchanan now owns the Borders Bookstore Chain remains to be seen.

* A caller to the Michael Savage radio show earlier this week told the host about how he was engaging in a one-man protest against illegal aliens in some jurisdiction in southern California. He was holding an American Flag, and eventually, the Police Department in the city caught up to him and forced him off the particular street he was on. The Police said that they wanted him off the street, because illegal aliens were coming to start a mass street demonstration, and the Police feared for his safety.

Both of these stories prove that in Official America, the sensitivities and feelings of white people don't matter. ("Lump it, honkey.") Whether in the bookstores, the cartoons, or the flag-bearing man, the feelings of Muslims and Mexicans are paramount.

From Fifty to Four Hundred Eleven

31 03 2006

KMOX Radio reported yesterday that the St. Louis NAACP will begin a program locally that other NAACP chapters have had in their cities. The program is called “411 on the Five-0,” and is meant to instruct young African-American men on the proper deportment when confronted with a traffic stop or other forms of police scrutiny.

While I endorse this message and this program, and the NAACP is actually promulgating messages here that everyone, black or not, should heed, the NAACP is demonstrating mixed messages overall, when it, on the one hand, tells its people to show good deportment in the presence of law enforcement, and on the other hand, uses its power and influence to hamstring law enforcement.

In such a case, those who are confronted by the police (black or not) have no incentive to behave if they know the police are legally straitjacketed.

Who Saw This Coming

30 03 2006

Mayor Slay has vetoed the Civilian Review Board bill, just as I predicted on two occasions earlier this month, see here and here.

I do think his histrionics about an executive order on his part to come up with a CRB that would stand up to a "court challenge" is empty rhetoric meant to play both sides against the middle. I also think this rhetoric is meant to create a bargaining chip for himself to keep the Police Board at bay, i.e. to keep them from weakening the residency rule any further.

As the effort to weaken the residency rule on the part of the Police Board was meant to force Slay to veto the CRB, I think the PB and Slay now have each other at a stalemate.

St. Louis County Is Irrelevant

30 03 2006

On November 6, 2004, I had this to say:

But St. Louis County, with the most people and the most voters of any county in the state, and the highest assessed real estate valuation, is quickly becoming irrelevant in state politics, as irrelevant as St. Louis City.  For example, Jim Talent won two years ago without carrying St. Louis County, and look at these numbers this year:  Bush beat Kerry by 7% in the whole state, but Kerry Beat Bush by 9% in STL County.  Blunt won by 3 statewide but lost by 10 in the county, and Bond beat Farmer by 13 in the state but lost to Farmer by 4 in the county.  Moral of the story: St. Louis County is now a safe Democrat county, and you don’t need it to win statewide if you’re a Republican.

Now, Jo Mannies has picked up on the fact that the state Republican Party is writing off St. Louis County.  The reason is obvious:  St. Louis County is becoming more African-American, therefore, Democrats are winning it consistently.

Missouri Republicans only really need to care about two counties in this state:  St. Charles and Greene.  Everything else will fall into into their column in earnest, if it doesn't fall into the Democrats' column by demographic default.

KPLR Channel 11 Covers Council of Conservative Citizens

30 03 2006

Last night, on their 9 PM News, KPLR-TV, Channel 11, mentioned the Council of Conservative Citizens.

The context was the immigration debate. A KPLR News Crew interviewed CofCC CEO Gordon Lee Baum.

And here are the results

In Better Standing

30 03 2006

Congresskook Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) just helped her own reputation among her constituents.

From Neal Boortz:

Here is the way it was reported to have happened. Cynthia is entering one of the House office buildings. It wasn’t the building in which her office is located. She was not wearing the lapel pin that identifies her as a member of congress. She exercises her privilege of walking around the metal detectors. The police officer doesn’t recognize her and goes after her. That’s his job. When he (chose one) (a) place his hand on her shoulder; or (b) grabbed her arm, she turned around and (a) hit, (b) punched (c) slapped him in his (a) face (b) chest with (a) her open hand (b) her fist (c) her cell phone.

If it were a typical U.S. House member, his or her political career would be over. But this is Cynthia McKinney, who is evidently a graduate of the Lil’ Kim School of Public Relations.

Like Hip Hop “artist” whose record sales surge upon the artist receiving criminal charges or conviction, Ms. McKinney’s little outburst will help her reputation among her constituents. When her voters back in Georgia find out that she took a slug at the white po-leeceseses, her reputation in her own district will be so good that she could crown herself queen and nobody there would care.

Look at it with this inductive reasoning: You know what I just said is true, for any district that would elect her or elect that kind of kook would surely be populated with the sort of people who think that way.

Don’t Hire This Host

30 03 2006

While I am willing to concede that KTRS overreacted in firing Dave Lenihan, I don’t comprehend the rush among right-wingers to defend him.

In about the last year of our radio show on WGNU, “The Right At Night” on Friday nights if you don’t remember, Lenihan was on the slot before we were. He’s one of these typical neoconservatives who just love their diversity and who think the world of any person of color who express any sort of sentiments that are halfway conservative.

Lenihan is helping to perpetuate the very system that led to the overreaction that got him booted off of KTRS. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.

You would think he’d learn. Alas, no. KTVI Channel 2 and other sources reported yesterday that Lenihan has become a dues-paying member of the NAACP, and in earnest, the St. Louis NAACP is lobbying for his return to the radio waves.

Remember, on the day of the Lenihan faux pas and firing, the NAACP praised KTRS for their quick and decisive action. I guess two shekels trump a moral imperative any day.

I hope Lenihan never works in radio again, and nobody hires him on account of his slip of the tongue. That would be the precise result of the system he is empowering and giving tacit approval to by his NAACP membership.

Bye Bye Bunny

30 03 2006

The City of St. Paul, Minnesota is going to replace its Easter Bunny display with a “Spring Bunny.” The city’s Human Rights Commission claims that the city has to do so in order not to offend non-Christians, and in order not to have the appearance of the establishment of religion.

Of course, the city’s Human Rights Commission is saying this, empowered by the government of a city with “Saint” in its name. What next, will the HRC propose the city change its name to Norman Learville?

The irony of the HRC’s worry about “Easter Bunny” and “Easter Eggs” being an establishment of Christianity is that the rabbit mythology surrounding Easter is not Christian, it was a highlight of pre-Christian Paganism on the European continent. (Need I remind you that rabbits are non-marsupial mammals, and thus give live birth.) Early Christians adopted some of the “spring fertility” rites of Paganism into the Resurrection observance in order to attract Pagans to the Church.

For the same reason, early Christians strategically placed the Birth of Christ near the Winter Solstice, as that was a special day in the Pagan mind as well.

OBL or Bust

30 03 2006

The Democrats have let go of a new “national security” manifesto in advance of the November mid-term elections.

Really, there’s no strategy. The only substantial item in their “plan” is that they promise to capture Osama Bin Laden.

Of course, if you’re going to say that and nothing else, then that probably means you think that the War on Terror is OBL/Al Qaeda and nothing else. As one can see by making daily stops at the blogs Jihad Watch and Dhimmi Watch, it’s far more than just OBL and Al Qaeda.

Practical politics play a role here. While Republicans have a spotty national security record, the Democrats have a mostly horrible one, (save Portgate), and they would just as soon see the perceived threat of terrorism go away, so that we can go back to the pre-9/11 days where Gary Condit and Britney Spears were compelling and cutting-edge political issues.

In the minds of Democrats, so it seems, if OBL is captured, then everyone here will think that the threat is over, thereby neutralizing national security as a political issue.

The Democrats’ overemphasis on OBL and nothing else is also troubling in another way. Most of Al Qaeda is already decimated, so if OBL is even still alive, he’s just some old incompetent in a cave on kidney dialysis with no real power.

Remember, we couldn’t prove that Adolph Hitler wasn’t alive, and wasn’t hiding in South America, until the fall of the Soviet Union and the release of their regime’s secret documents, which proved that the Russians found Hitler dead in the section of Berlin they captured and occupied. But even if he did make it to South America, everyone knew that the Nazis lost World War II and that they had no power and no ideological credibility.

Also, we might be better off not to capture OBL alive. There is a fashionable theory floating around the blogosphere and talk radio that the Bush Administration knows that OBL is hiding out somewhere in western Pakistan, and is deliberately not trying to hunt him down. While OBL’s capture would be a psychological victory for us, it might also risk setting off the extremists in Pakistan, who might then rise up and topple the Musharaf government. In such a circumstance, we would know for sure that radical Islam would be sitting on a real, true nuclear bomb.

Maybe OBL’s capture would demoralize the radicals in Pakistan, but with the way the Muslim world reacted over cartoons last month, you can never be sure how they will react to given situations.

If this theory being floated is true, and is Bush’s policy, then the House and Senate Intelligence Committees know it. If that’s the case, then I would be curious to know if any signatories to this Democratic Security Manifesto are on those committees. If so, then they’re two-faced; if not, then we could take to the bank that this “Manifesto” is election-year posturing.

Library Lawsuit Update

29 03 2006

Our Library Lawsuit was covered on this blog. It’s definitely Portugese language, which means it’s either from Brazil or Portugal. It looks to be a blog about and devoted to Library Science and Scientists in Brazil or Portugal.

Here is Google Translate’s Portugese-to-English approximation. As usual, internet translation tools are never exact.

Here is a slightly different computer translation, from FreeTranslation.com

Losing Control

29 03 2006

I just added the Immigration Blog, a sub-blog of the Michelle Malkin Blog, to our Blogroll.

You will notice this quote on the top of Immigration Blog:

"This country has lost control of its borders.  And no country can sustain that kind of position." — Ronald Reagan

The irony of the quote and the fact that a Reagan quote is on the masthead of an anti-immigration blog is that, in 1986, Reagan signed into law an "immigration reform" bill that included this country's first and only amnesty for illegal aliens.

Good Graces

29 03 2006

If this picture makes you upset, then be of good cheer — at least the students had the good graces to put the American Flag up on this mast at all.  It won't be much longer that the only flag you will see in Official Los Angeles is the top flag.

Purge

29 03 2006

Quoting myself from a blog post two days ago:

It will only be a matter of time when one of two things happen: Latinos will purge us whites out of the American southwest and other places, or we will purge them.

Don't believe me? Here's the proof.

Do Voters Read This Blog

29 03 2006

Francis Slay has done it again. From the City Hall Room 200 Hypocrite-In-Chief:

The facts in a report I recently reviewed are written in that flat prose favored by police officers and fighter pilots: City officers arrested a person they had spotted driving a car reported taken in a carjacking.

Even through the understatement, though, the simple facts are frightening.

The person the police stopped was in his late 20s. The officers – members of the Anti-Crime Task Force — knew him. He had been charged with felony crimes 26 times before and had been convicted of a dozen of them.

This time, he fled when police approached him. When they caught up to him, they discovered that he was armed with a loaded Intratech Tech 9 automatic pistol, which he was struggling to remove from a bag. The officers subdued him with a taser.

A comment added to the top of the report I read said: “Hopefully, we’ll be able to keep him in jail a bit longer this time.”

Do judges read this blog?

Do voters read this blog? If they do, they should learn that votes for liberal Democrats, as Mayor Francis Slay recommends, begets liberal judges who are lenient toward black crime. It also begets civil rights laws in the realm of criminal trial process that virtually guarantees that black defendants in black areas will have at least a few blacks on their jury, which increases the chances of black jury nullification.

Need I also remind you that Mayor Slay would just as well have you go defenseless against the City’s milieu of Predatory Thug Babies.

Mayor, this is the third story on your blog so far this year wherein you have whined about liberal judges and their lenience being a cause of frequent crime flyers.

If you’re really serious about doing something about it, you need to dump the Democratic Party, though not necessarily become a Republican, but definitely engineer a hard right turn in City government and lobby for hard right wing policies in Missouri and Federal governments.

Also you should admit that opposing conceal-carry was a mistake, and launch an effort to encourage eligible city residents to earn permits and actually pack heat.

Otherwise, your complaining has no credibility.

The Dukes of Occupational Hazards

29 03 2006

If you are unfamiliar with the details of a scandal revolving around the Duke University Lacrosse Team and an alleged gang rape, here they are in a nutshell.

One detail that is not included in this account but is true is that the party was held at an apartment rented by at least one of the Team’s co-captains.

All but one of Duke’s Lacrosse Team members are white, the one exception is black. All of the players have closed ranks and are refusing to cooperate with the Durham (N.C.) Police invesitgation. The University responded by putting their Lacrosse season on hold and demanding that everyone on the team save the black player submit DNA samples. The black player was exempted because the black stripper alleged that the three men that gang-raped her then yelled racial slurs in her face were white.

Please re-read five times and understand the last sentence in the next paragraph before continuing reading the rest of this commentary, because I don’t want anyone to take anything ambiguous away from what I am saying.

Let’s say for the sake of discussion that the stripper’s allegations are true. If they are, her assailants should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

BUT…

It doesn’t take a Duke University Professor to know that if you’re a young woman and you run around naked in the presence of young athletic men who are always horny and sometimes drunk, that you are very likely to become a victim of this sort of crime.

Beyond all of that, if the allegation of racial slurs are found to be true, I would imagine that the University will make the rapists in their midsts pay racial penance. That won’t be much of a problem for these young men – their defense in that regard is that their decision to hire a black stripper was done in the spirit of equal opportunity and affirmative action.

Durham Police might have a good reason to scrutinize those Dukies, but the EEOC does not.

And let us not forget that, on a fairly frequent basis, I see stories popping up in the sports media about how some college athlete, usually black, and usually basketball or football, was arrested and/or charged with some sort of serious criminal offense, and the most frequent criminal offense that I hear named in these cases is assault.

Off the Streets and Onto the Parking Lot

29 03 2006

The Halls Ferry Christian Church in Black Jack has run a basketball program called “Off The Streets” for several years. Its aim is to prevent neighborhood youths from becoming (to borrow the title of one of the blogs on my roll) peripatetic circumambulants and joining black drug gangs.

Two nights ago, after a game at the Church, a group that gathered in the Church’s parking lot were fired upon by several unidentified suspects in a dark-colored, four-door car. Two young men, ages 14 and 17, were shot, but not fatally.

Maybe now the Halls Ferry Christian Church should worry less about the streets and more about parking lots.

Good Frenchmen All

29 03 2006

To hear the American MSM describe the massive protests of “youths” in France protesting labor code reforms that would give employers the authority to fire young employees, (which goes to show you how insane French labor laws are), you would think that it’s entirely pale-skinned Jacques or Jean-Pierre roaming the streets.

Alas, no. Take a look at this Power Line Blog Post.

And this Los Angeles Times article hints that these might be race riots in part:

Last March, a demonstration by Paris high school students against education reforms degenerated into muggings and robberies that left dozens injured. The aggressors were gangs from outlying areas, and some told journalists and investigators that their goal was to “beat up little white kids,” according to “Slums in Flames,” a recent book by Charles Pelligrini, former chief of an elite detective division of the national police.

World Dictator

29 03 2006

Or where Aztlan and Alberta cross.

Just because we have a nincompoop President in Washington, D.C. who will do whatever Mexican President Vincente Fox wants, it doesn’t mean that the rest of the world will aecede to Fox’s wishes.

Or does it?

This will be a major test of new Canadian PM Stephen Harper’s meddle.

This They Call Change

29 03 2006

President Bush has replaced his Chief of Staff.

Andrew Card submitted his resignation yesterday. I have always been suspicious of him, because liberal Republicans have always heaped praise on him and touted his ability to “moderate” the Bush administration.

So with a chance to do something special, and to get his floundering Administration back on track, President Bush punted the football and appointed one Josh Bolten to succeed Card. Mr. Bolten was, up until now, the White House Budget Director, where he apparently made the decision that everyone who works under his aegis should replace their black ink pens with red ones.

Featured in the Washington Post

28 03 2006

The St. Louis CofCC Blog was featured in a Washington Post online article. Here is a screenshot that a reader sent me. The reader says that the screenshot was taken at about 1 PM Central Time today.

To be fair, it’s not that the editors of the WAPO have become big fans, it’s just that a post on this blog earlier today referenced a Diane Meyer blog post, which in turn referenced a Washington Post article, and the article was linked to directly from our blog, as my block quote of Diane Meyer’s posting included the link.

The Washington Post online presence uses functionality provided by the Blog Search Engine Technorati to show viewers which blogs are commenting on the particular online story one is reading, because Technorati can crawl blogs to see which ones are linking to said story.

The link you see to “St. Louis CofCC Blog” takes you directly to the posting that references that WAPO story, not the Blog Front.

As Tom Edsall, one of the Post’s big political by-line reporters, is one really big fan of the Council of Conservative Citizens, he just might be tickled pink today.

No Desire To Defend

28 03 2006

Dear Arch Kookit:

I find this post very ironic on your part, and not just because you drug our name into it.

If it were up to me, convicted felons would never be allowed to vote again, much less run for office.

If anything, it’s you all in the political left that oppose any measure, and are lobbying governments that have these rules to rescind them.  Your pretense is “racial justice,” as so many black men are convicted felons.

These are your own cows coming home to graze.  If you want black ex-cons to vote and run for office, you shouldn’t be surprised that some Nazi trailer trash also tries to get in on the act.

Sincerely,

St. Louis CofCC Webmaster

Yes, It’s True

28 03 2006

From Diane Meyer:

A study in contrasts between a story in the Washington Post entitled 'Marriage is for White People' and a story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch relating the story of 26 Black couples renewing their marriage vows on National Black Marriage Day.

According to the WP story, young black people see marriage as a 'white' thing while some of their elders in St. Louis promote the importance of marriage as an example to the next generation.

I don't think anybody is imagining anything here. In his 1992 book, Paved With Good Intentions, Jared Taylor outlined a story from the Chicago housing projects. A bad crime spree forced project management to throw out non-leaseholders, which included many of the "live-in" boyfriends of the women leaseholders, who were also their children's fathers.

Local do-gooders feted "shotgun" wedding ceremonies so that the men would be married into the leases and wouldn't have to move out. In earnest, a number of women told newspaper reporters that they were the first in their families to get married, and some said that, up until that point, they didn't even know any married people.

Matching this, the groundbreaking research of Dr. J. Phillipe Rushton, as well as common sense observations of African-Americans and Negroes in general, will tell you that pair bonding is weaker among them than any other racial group.

The reason younger blacks are marriage-immune while "their elders" recommend it is because "their elders" were young people while there was still something of a "segregationist" system, as that system wasn't just one of pure separation, it was one where whites forcefully indoctrinated blacks (inasmuch as they could) with "white" mores. As a result, also from Paved With Good Intentions, as late as 1950, black women were more likely to be married than white women.

With the end of "segregation" decades ago, it would only be a matter of time until blacks would revert to their "hard-wired" folkways, which we are seeing now.

These Intelligence Differences Are Okay

28 03 2006

From the UK Times Online:

A new European league of IQ scores has ranked the British in eighth place, well above the French, who were 19th. According to Richard Lynn of the University of Ulster, Britons have an average IQ of 100. The French scored 94. But it is not all good news. Top of the table were the Germans, with an IQ of 107. The British were also beaten by the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

I guess I can forget about all those Polish jokes.

Strangely absent from this article is any discussion about wholesale racial differences in IQ. Oh yes, it’s fine to talk about IQ differences among groups of white people, but start talking about them in terms of white people vis-a-vis non-whites, then the iron curtain comes slamming down on you.

This is endemic on a thesis that Jared Taylor, Publisher and Editor of American Renaissance, has advanced about whites in general — their history has shown that they (we) are all to eager to bash each other and not interested in working with each other to counteract the non-white world. Even during warfare, whites often assemble alliances with non-whites in their conquest of other white people. Even Adolph Hitler made alliances with Arabs and Japanese in his attempt to subjugate most of Europe.

No Turning Back

27 03 2006

We have learned a lot from all the Mexican-American street theater this weekend.

But before I can expound on these lessons learned, we have to review the facts of the past weekend.

* A VERIFIED half a million in Los Angeles. Usually, when left wingers of any sort take to the streets to protest, you can take the headcount the MSM gives you and divide by ten to get the truth. But this 500,000 figure for Los Angeles is the truth, IMHO.

* A VERIFIED 300,000 two weekends ago in Chicago.

* Upwards of 50,000 in Denver, 20,000 in Phoenix (which I thought would have been much higher), and about 10,000 in such identifiably southwestern places like Milwaukee, Columbus (Ohio) and Charlotte (N.C.). Yes, those cities must have enough illegal aliens and a Spanish-language infrastructure and media to ignite such a turnout.

* Nothing in St. Louis. While we’re starting to see a Hispanic growth, there’s virtually no Hispanic media infrastructure to “set it off.”

* We’re all wondering how the Mexicans can get that many people out, when two hundred anti-immigration whites in Washington, D.C. and seventy in St. Louis is a big deal for us. The answer is easy — Spanish language media infrastructure were provoking and peddling the rallies for weeks.

* Don’t let MSM film of these rallies fool you. They will show you images of American Flag-waving Mexicans, but those are just products of clever photography and imagery. Most American Flags were probably used to stomp on and walk upon. Film from the L.A. Rally showed 1776 Betsy Ross style American Flags, with the 13 circular stars in the blue field. Believe me, that’s not a symbol of Patriotism. When a Mexican flies it, it means “push Gringo back to the original 13.”

* Thousands of Mexican high school students in the L.A. area “spontaneously” walked out of class and took to the streets over last week, and on Monday. Believe me, young people just don’t do that sort of thing “spontaneously.” They were probably egged on by their teachers to do so.

* Immigration advocates and even some conservative/libertarian talk radio hosts, like Matt Drudge and Neal Boortz, are now coming out for amnesty, or if not, conceding that it will happen, because of the “impossibility” of deporting 11 million or more illegal aliens. For Boortz to say this is surprising, as he is a lawyer, and he himself should know best that such a statement is so stupid and short-sighted.

Yes, it would be physically impossible to deport 11 million illegal aliens. But you don’t NEED to do all of that. It would be physically impossible to punish everyone who would violate any law in the absence of the law itself being ignored by enforcement authorities.

In about three weeks, you all will make sure that you have certain paperwork filed with the IRS, if you haven’t done so already. Are you doing this because you like to pay taxes, or like to fill out paperwork, or because of some moral imperative about the benefits of government spending?

Nope. You’re doing this because you FEAR the consequences of not doing so.

Most criminal law is enforced by stringing up a few violators and making an example of them, and this keeps most of everyone else “in line.” And nary a recalcitrant soul on the subject of income taxation is undeterred by the sight of seeing any given human being hauled away in handcuffs and into a paddywagon destination Club Fed, animated by the newscaster repeating such legalistic catch phrases like “willful failure to file.”

Applying this to illegal aliens, you could deport a few, make public their humiliating deporation, and most of the rest would go home willingly, and most on the other side of the border who were thinking of “crossing” would be deterred.

In addition, we could (and should), 187-style, deny nearly all social welfare benefits to illegal aliens, crack down viciously on employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens, remove most civil rights protections for illegal aliens so that employers don’t get mixed messages, crack down on “save haven” groups and individuals, including city, county or state governments that might try and “defy” any crackdown (though I’m willing to exempt churches), and get a real wall up on the border with the real U.S. Armed Forces stationed there.

It’s neither hard, complicated, nor expensive. The fact that it isn’t happening is, to me, prima facie evidence that our establishment wants mass non-white illegal immigration.

Now that the facts of this weekend have been established, it’s time to learn the lessons.

* There are five important issues in American Politics today. They are, in order of importance: Immigration, immigration, immigration, immigration and immigration. Iraq? That’s some country on the other side of the world. Katrina? Katrina Who? Is she cute? Reparations? Too many syllables. Weapons of Mass Destruction? Blah blah blah of blah blah blah.

* The pretenses of American exceptionalism and assimilation have ended. Many of the marchers in some of these cities were second-generation Mexican-Americans, and look at how well they have assimilated.

* And now we know the truth about neoconservatism’s favorite racial minority, Asian-Americans. According to a pro-immigration fanatic on last night’s Drudge Radio, while the L.A. march was predominately Mexican, every racial group on the L.A. area, except whites and blacks, were in on this thing, marching, peddling it in their ethnic media, and so on. The guest specifically lauded Koreans and Filipinos.

* Some people were shocked and amazed that so many Latinos would take to the streets to protest, and amazingly, it was mostly peaceful, but not entirely peaceful. Rush Limbaugh read a Human Events magazine article on his show today by Mac Johnson – the thesis of the article that this sort of mass street theater is the norm in Latin America, and that as America becomes more Latino, the attempts to wield influence in politics will be more Latino, and therefore will involve more and more of this big event street theater.

Even if the MSM were to provoke street theater to oppose immigration in the way the Spanish ethnic media whooped up their people to support immigration, I doubt 500,000 white “Minutemen” would take to the streets of Los Angeles. I just don’t think street theater is in the sensible psyche of Caucasians.

Therefore, don’t be too panicked about what happened this past weekend. What you have to do is to continue to use your political influence in your own ways. If anything, this weekend is going to cause a right-wing backlash we haven’t seen in a decade or more.

* There’s a lot of talk about Democrats taking back one or both chambers of Congress in November’s elections. But I remember the last time Mexicans took to the streets of L.A. like this, that was in 1994 to protest Proposition 187. You all remember what happened that November.

But with all this having been said, I think there’s no going back. It will only be a matter of time when one of two things happen: Latinos will purge us whites out of the American southwest and other places, or we will purge them. Whether or not the American southwest becomes part of Mexico again or its own independent Aztlan country is debatable, but immaterial, as either way, it will be unlivable for whites.

Any possibility of a middle ground officially ended this weekend.
