Cradle of Reconquista

The extremist “Raza” style Mexicans don’t need to worry about reconquering the American Southwest. Judging from this weekends events, they already have the city of Chicago under their belts.

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, along with many Chicago city politicians, attended a hundred thousands strong march protesting measures to crack down on illegal immigration.

This is in contrast with Blagojevich’s counterpart of the same political party in Arizona, who has taken a totally different approach on the question.

While they seem like contradictory actions, they are both part and parcel of the same thing — it’s election year for both of them, and they’re both doing what they think they need to do to win again.
