Builder’s Regret

After the events of last night, I bet the Mills Corporation executives are having regrets that they decided to build their St. Louis Mills presence in north St. Louis County.

If they would have had any sense, they would have realized that nearby Westfield Northwest Plaza is dying because of black crime, so putting another mall close to that one wouldn't have led to a different result.  Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. 

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch article linked to above, as well as TV Newscasts from this morning, spin the circumstances of last night much differently than what the TV News last night said. 

Last night, TV News said that there were multiple knock-down drag-out brawls, and Police Officers from the Hazelwood department (where the Mall is located) and neighboring Bridgeton, and also St. Louis County's department, had to hurry to evacuate all the normal patrons from the mall, and that they even locked down the movie theater until they figured everything was safe.

This morning, the Post and the TV News say that there were a few minor fights, but the cops cleared everyone out just to be safe.  Just think, it took the entirety of one overnight to trivialize last night's events for outward consumption.

Neither the more serious telling of last night on the local MSM nor the trvialized version of this morning tell us the racial composition of the amateur pugilists, therefore, most of them were probably African-American.

It won't be much longer before Northwest Plaza gets listed on this website.  A few more repeats of last night's episode at St. Louis Mills will mean that it too will be honored on that website sooner rather than later.
