Two More Readers

31 10 2006

Dan Stein and James Fulford over at V-Dare have echoed my theory about the Republican establishment cannibalizing its own in the House in order to push amnesty through.

But He Doesn’t Have Any Street Cred

31 10 2006

This man is the only black on the infamous 2005-6 Duke Lacrosse squad. Eighteen-year old Devon Sherwood, a backup goaltender, thinks his teammates are being railroaded, and, to borrow from the vernacular of the street, he wants his racial brethren in Durham to chill out over the whole affair.

I doubt many of them will take his advice with much more than a grain of crack. Aside from the fact that he plays a game ordinarily associated with northeastern blue-blooded WASP elitism, and his decidedly “waspey” name, he looks like he lacks what the brothers term “street credibility.” Except if the street’s name is Wall.

Hillary to America: Kiss Off

31 10 2006

She is calling for the dismantling of the United States of America, in front of an extremist hate group that wholeheartedly agrees with the notion.  From Breitbart/AP:

New York Senator Hillary Clinton called for a broad reform of US foreign policy that would include better cooperation with other nations and bilateral talks with enemy nations.

Criticizing President George W. Bush’s foreign policy from Iraq to Afghanistan and North Korea to Iran, the wife of former president Bill Clinton called for a more internationalist approach to foreign policy in a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations, a New York-based foreign policy think tank.

“First, and most obviously, we must by word and deed renew internationalism for a new century,” said Clinton, a likely Democratic Party presidential candidate for the 2008 election.

She can’t really criticize the Bush Iraqi/Afghani “War on Terror” policy, because it is borne of the same internationalism that she herself is promulgating.

Also:

Clinton blasted what she said was the Bush administration’s “simplistic division of the world into good and evil.”

It’s not that she and her husband didn’t do that; it’s just that they got the “good” and the “evil” halves mixed up.

But Will He Start Stalking Webb?

31 10 2006

A member of the left-wing kookosphere has been stalking George Allen, and was taken down physically for doing so.

Now let’s see if this blogger starts stalking Jim Webb.  One would think he would, if one wants to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding intellectual honesty.

Plenty Smart and Plenty Brave

31 10 2006

Those were the words President Bush used to defend Armed Forces personnel in Iraq, in light of John Kerry’s latest foot-in-mouth.

I agree with the President.  However, when they displayed their bravery in Haditha, Iraq, Bush and Rumsfeld threw them into a brig in Camp Pendleton, held them in permanent shackles for awhile, (until outrage from Michael Savage and his listeners rectified that injustice), and called them “murderers.”

They might be “plenty smart and plenty brave,” it’s just too bad their leadership consists of cowardly, pandering chickens.

Why Amendment 3 Will Lose

31 10 2006

Aside from the fact that its media buys are promising that some people will pay more in taxes, almost always a political loser, there is hardly any mention of what 82.5% of Amendment 3 Funds is required to fund — the restoration of Medicaid cuts.

And so it goes with Slay’s endorsement of Amendment 3 (as if there was any doubt about his position).  The only mention of health care is the final half-sentence.

When you mention “smoking cessation programs” to the average person, they seem to think that all it amounts to is establishing government bureaucracies whose workers spend all day designing colorful posters and snazzy Flash animations, all of which accomplish nothing except to create a smoking cessation-industrial complex.

One Careless

The built-in firewall for Microsoft Windows XP is a dog.

And there are some people who think nothing of trusting Microsoft for their entire set of computer security needs.

So Farr Away

31 10 2006

Antonio French: Leslie Farr, a black Republican who lost the primaries for MO-2-U.S. House in August, is changing his party affiliation to Democrat.

To a certain someone, and you know who you are, and to a certain someone else, and you know who you are as well, I must say this: This was your precious non-white horse in the race, the one whose existence was meant to validate the “anti-racist” emotions on the part of one of you.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA….

Honesty in Campaign Ads

31 10 2006

A group whose name includes the words “Honesty in Government” has released a new TV ad, slamming Claire McCaskill for her support of amnesty and her opposition to a border fence. The visuals cite the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), and the ad also has visual underlays of illegal aliens sneaking across a drainage ditch, and the Mexican flag.

IIRC, one of the voiceovers says that, (pph), “If Claire McCaskill has her way, America will no longer be America.”

The ad also asks you to call Claire McCaskill, (and I’m assuming the phone number they gave is either the State Auditor’s Office in Jefferson City or her For Senate Campaign Headquarters), and to convince her that her positions are wrong.

Good luck — The only way a phone call to her office would change her mind is if the conversation involves a bag of money.

Finally, though, we have some media buys that take a stand on a controversial image. I think, after November 7, the words “cell,” “home,” “minimum,” “nursing,” “stem,” and “wage” will fall out of the dictionary.

UPDATE:  French must have seen the same ad at the same time.  The group’s name is “Americans for Honesty on Issues,” which appears to be a pro-Republican 527.

Good Going, John

31 10 2006

With this, he is implying three things:

1. There will be a draft

2. Armed Forces personnel are stupid

3. Iraq is the American military’s only foreign venue

All those moderate-to-conservative Democrats have to be pulling their hair out of their heads today.

He’s For Dixie, Too

31 10 2006

No wonder James Webb is giving George Allen a run for his money.  Webb is running to the right of Allen on immigration, and now there’s more:

Ed “I’m waiting for the SPLC to give me a job” Sebesta has discovered that Webb is pro-South.

Remember, one of the “raps” against George Allen is that he signed Confederate heritage proclamations during his tenure as Governor of Virginia.

If that outrages you, I’ll lay two more names of Southern governors that have done and are currently doing the same:

Kathleen Blanco
Bill Clinton

There’s a week to go before the elections; let’s see if the left-wing kookosphere erupts in outrage.  If not, then I’ll have all the circumstantial evidence I need to conclude that the left-wing kookosphere is a Democrat Party front.

If Webb does pull this thing out, I would love to be a virus in the brain of the Arch Pundit that night, to see whether he would be happy that a Democrat won, or mad that the Dem had to be right wing in order to win.

There Are Swedes, And Then There Are Swedes

31 10 2006

Twenty-nine percent of “Swedes” say that the United States of America is the world’s biggest threat to “world peace” (i.e. international communism), according to a poll.

Before you you get mad enough that you write your Congressman asking to put Sweden in the same diplomatic league as Cuba and asking for an official boycott of the Nobel Prizes by Americans, remember:  Sweden is becoming more and more non-white and Muslim with each passing year.

Paternal Rights

31 10 2006

Depending on your personal assessment of the credibility of certain sources, you may think that Madonna “adopted” the boy from Malawi by almost literally ripping him out of his father’s hands.

Back in 2000, just about every lib in the country said that Elian Gonzales had to go back to Cuba because his father had rights.  Are we hearing any lib outrage over what Madonna might have done?

These are also the same libs that vote for a political and legal system that doesn’t recognize paternal rights.

More Crime Stat Fallout

30 10 2006

Antonio French:

St. Louis is more than just downtown. There are places in our city that have been completely left out of the revitalization occurring just a few miles away. And it is no coincidence at all that these are also the places where most of our young people are dying.

Also back in January, Mayor Francis Slay wrote on his blog, “as most of you know, many neighborhoods in the City are very safe places today. However, as the stats make too clear, a few neighborhoods are not.”

Wouldn’t it make sense then in the 10 months since those words were written that those “unsafe areas” would have seen a surge of police patrols, a strong and permanent presence of officers to show both residents and criminals that crime would no longer be tolerated?

But ask anyone who lives in the 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th districts and they will tell you that has not happened.

I have been told by a credible source that about 70% of the man-hours of the St. Louis City Police Department are spent north of Delmar, and that almost corresponds neatly with dists. 5-8.

However, let’s assume that my information is false and French’s is true. If the City Police take that course of action, all you’ll hear from community activists, Lizz Brown and left-wing bloggers in this town is caterwauling about “police racism” and how police presence in black neighborhoods is the only reason why there “seems” to be a racial disparity in crime rates.

Incidentally, assuming my information is correct, and the cops disengage from 5-through-8, then the community activists, Lizz Brown and left-wing bloggers in this town will caterwaul about “police racism” in not patrolling black neighborhoods and thus tolerating black crime by disparate action.

Crime Stat Fallout

30 10 2006

Here comes the fallout from the Big Announcement earlier today.

Mayor Slop is engaging in his usual doublespeak.

On the one hand, he says that crime really isn’t a problem in the city, that the study’s methodology was flawed, and, since the firm that did the research and released the study is based in the Kansas suburbs of Kansas City, that it was just a ploy to make St. Louis look bad.  This is the same study/firm that named Camden, New Jersey the most dangerous city the previous two years; I am not aware of some great rivalry between Kansas City and Philadelphia, unless you want to think that they were just getting revenge for the 1980 World Series.

On the other hand, Slay uses the opportunity to get his usual plug in for Prop P and the recreation center projects it would fund.

So he’s trying to have it both ways.  He wants to say it’s not bad, but it is bad enough to warrant paying more in sales taxes to fund more useless and futile “solutions.”

For Police Chief Joe Mokwa’s part, he told KTVI-2 today that there are 79 officially-defined neighborhoods in the city, and 99% of them are trouble-free.  That means, in Mokwaspeak, only one neighborhood in the city has any crime.  If only one neighborhood has all the crime, and St. Louis has the highest crime rate, then this one neighborhood that Mokwa has in mind must really be a stinker.

I only wish it were that easy, Joe.  Then again, he is notorious for coming down with foot-in-mouth disease.

Where Did I Put That Box Of Bandages?

30 10 2006

McCaskill has a new set of media buys, criticizing Talent for voting for tax breaks for companies that outsource and shift employment to lower wage countries.  She promises to rescind those tax breaks should she get elected to the Senate.

It would be a bandage on a hemorrhage.  In my mind, talking about that is a cop-out, similar to advocating unmanned aerial drones as a method of border security or crime deterrence.  If her solution came to pass, it would be like losing a cup of water from Lake Michigan — what corporate America makes from cheap labor is far more than the extra tax burden that Claire McCaskill wants to restore for them.

The solution is Buchananite economic nationalism, including, but not limited to, that taboo seven-letter word that begins with a T.

I take McCaskill’s reliance on cop-out solutions and her not saying the dreaded T-word as evidence that she would be as maniacally pro-free trade as Talent.

Pretty Please

30 10 2006

England’s Prince Charles to radical Islam:  Please behave.  Pretty please?

Chuck is in Pakistan pleading for moderation from the Muslim world.  How can that be?  All the talking heads, including one at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington DC, tell us that almost everyone in the Muslim world are peaceful and secular moderates, who are intimidated by a scant few extremists who have hijacked the Religion of Peace (TM) to use it for their fanatical goals.

You don’t need to plead for moderation if you think the moderation is already there.

St. Louis Beats Detroit Again

30 10 2006

For the honor of most violent city in America.

KMOV-4:  Violent crime rate in St. Louis is up 20% since the beginning of the decade.  Unspoken reason:  Black.  More specifically:  Reformatting of the drug territories of newer and younger dope dealers and dope gangs due to many black dope dealers getting sent to prison.

Perhaps when Kilpatrick settles his bet with Slay, he can send us a few of Detroit’s recreation centers as a bonus and make Slay happy.

What France Really Needs

29 10 2006

Malkin had a story linking to a blog that found the front cover of the latest issue of The Economist magazine from London.  If the link fails, it is an image of Margaret Thatcher over a French Flag, and the bold letters, “What France Needs.”  The context is recent Muslim rioting and wildings in notoriously pro-Muslim France.

That having been said, France does NOT need Thatcher.  France needs LePen.

Thatcher pandered to Muslims, and encouraged Muslim immigration into The UK, during her tenure at #10 Downing, citing them as positive bearers and examples of “family values.”  (Sound familiar, American?)

When Anarchy Boomerangs on the Anarchists

29 10 2006

St. Louis Independent Media Center:

Brad Will, 36, a documentary filmmaker and reporter for Indymedia in New York, Bolivia and Brazil, died today of a gunshot to the chest when pro-government attackers opened fire on a barricade in the neighborhood of Santa Lucia El Camino, on the outskirts of Oaxaca, Mexico. He died with his video camera in his hands.

It’s those ole chickens, don’t ya know. They come home to roost. Anarchist killed by a state of lawlesness; this is just too much.

Remember, these are about the most strident and fanatical open borders freaks around. Yes, even more fanatical than you, my Louisiana adversary. Open borders would transvert Mexico into the United States of America (as if that hasn’t happened already in many places).

Three More Block Heads

29 10 2006

Three of Kevin “Rock Head” Johnson’s peeps from Meacham Park are accused of harassing and intimidating witnesses for the Prosecution, which seeks to convict Johnson for the murder of Kirkwood Police Sgt. William McEntee in July 2005.

Eighty-Five Bottles of Tequila on the Wall

29 10 2006

Chad Johnson, an African-American wide receiver for the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals, is wearing a jersey for his team’s game today at home versus the Atlanta Falcons that does not bear his own surname, as is the custom.  Instead, the lettering above his number “85″ will read “OCHO CINCO,” as you can see in the above photo.

The stunt is his tribute to October being Hispanic Heritage Month.  It should be said, though, that “ocho cinco” literally translates to “eight five,” his uniform number read per digit.  If he wanted to spell “eighty-five,” he would have had OCHENTA CINCO sewn above the numbers.

The idea of a black football player doing this to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month is a bit ironic, considering that wherever blacks and Hispanics are close to each other, they do almost nothing but fight and quarrel.  The only place where blacks aren’t hostile to Hispanic sociopolitical ambitions is the Black Congressional Caucus, and that is just for the temporal benefit of the Democrat Party — that sympathy will end once more and more Hispanics get elected to Congress and try to butt in line to be first to cash in on whitey’s “guilty” racial egalitarian conscience.

Perhaps Mr. Johnson is scouting out a political career when he hangs up his cleats.

I’m just waiting to see if a Mexican soccer player who wears the number 40 will change his uniform name to “FOTY” next February.

New to the Blogroll

For The Crown Rights.   Reciprocity, it’s a good thing.

I feel sorry for this person, because s/he could have titled his/her blog the “Confederate Yankee.”  Unfortunately, some neo-con got to that name first.

Sleepy Time Is Shearing Time

28 10 2006

Hey, Cardinal fan.  While you’re jubilant over last night, don’t let it slip past your inebriated head that Slay and Co. are about to fleece you to build the Ballpark Village.

Hey, Cardinal fan.  While you were anxiously awaiting Game 5 yesterday, the City Board of Aldermen went and did something stupid.  (Actually, that happens most days, c’est la vie.)  They passed a resolution approving of the violent crime of murder.

With that, and reparations for slavery, and the Mayor’s summary cultural genocide of Dixierons, and City Hall’s incessant foot-dragging on issuing CCW permits until the state finally made them start doing so, it makes you wonder if St. Louis has adopted a new slogan:  Help Stamp Out Mental Health.

New To The Blogroll

Hogtown Front. Canada might yet become normal again, if this blog has anything to do with the situation.

On that subject, HF has this interesting post about the usual leftist blabber about how “nationalism is an old idea.

The obvious and proper response is that globalism and universalism, and the philosophical Marxism that underpins those worldviews, were discredited during, and by the events of, World War I.

Also, the Canadian government is saying no to amnesty for illegal aliens. I’m not hearing the word “comprehensive” from Stephen Harper’s mouth, come to think of it.

Not Hell itself, or even Hell, Michigan, but the domain hell.com.

I would like to see the University of Alaska-Fairbanks make the purchase.

Square Peggy In A Round Hole

27 10 2006

Peggy Noonan must be reading this blog, and particularly this post.  I’m not upset that she didn’t cite this blog or this blogmeister as the inspiration for her theory, but I’m upset that she bungled the analysis and did not mention immigration.

2006 General Election Preview, Part 2

27 10 2006

The usual disclaimer still applies.

BLACK REPUBLICANS

Analysis:  It is incumbent that black Republican nominees Ken Blackwell (GOV-OH), Lynn Swann (GOV-PA), and Michael Steele (SEN-MD) all lose.  The Republican establishment already panders to blacks too much and still gets no more than 1% of their vote.  But if any of those three win, it will only drive the pandering drumbeat to deafening levels.

It’s time for the Republican Party (and all parties, for that matter) to start pandering to whites.

VIRGINIA U.S. SENATE

Personal Recommendation:  Allen
Prediction:  Allen

Analysis:  Allen’s tenure in the Senate is more disappointing than what people in right-wing circles were expecting.  However, simply because the left-wing kookosphere have tried to link Allen to the Council of Conservative Citizens (flimsily so; I’ll get to that AFTER the elections), his fortunes are our fortunes.  Therefore, I would recommend an Allen vote to keep the kook left from poking fun of us should he lose.

The irony is that if Webb does beat Allen, it would only be because Webb has fooled enough people into thinking that he’s more right wing than Webb.

He Should Have Said This In 2004

27 10 2006

Agence France Presse:

Multicultural policies in Europe have largely failed, former Spanish prime minister Jose Maria Aznar said Thursday on the one-year anniversary of riots by ethnic minorities in France.

“I believe that multiculturalism is a big failure,” Aznar said, speaking at Georgetown University.

“I’m against the idea of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism divides our societies, debilitates our societies, multiculturalism does not produce tolerance, nor integration.”

“And this is one of the reasons of the great failures in several European societies at this moment.”

Aznar, a pro-US conservative who led Spain from 1996 to 2004, emphasized that laws must be administered equally toward everyone.

If he would have said these things in 2004, he would still be Spain’s Prime Minister in 2006.
