I agree with most of this post today over at LoS. However, I disagree with the notion, proposed by the reader, not the LoS blogger, that Australia and New Zealand will be the last bastions of white civilization.
The trouble with A&NZ is that their island/countries have very low population, staring to their north at 1.3 billion Chinese, and hundreds of millions more of others. Australia and New Zealand could have all its white people run out or killed in a virtual instant once Beijing gives the go-ahead.
By contrast, Germany and surrounding Germanic countries are in a fairly good position, and seem to be implementing some good policies (though not all of their policies are good). The German government has been loath to grant citizenship to Turks within its midst, and loath to admit Turkey into the E.U. (The E.U. essentially being Greater Economic Germany, and the Euro being a warmed-over deutschemark), in the face of “American” pressure on both fronts.
Starting January 1, 2007, the German government will be paying big subsidies to families that procreate, and they will be making these payments only to citizens (i.e. virtually all white). Not residents, not legal aliens, not Turks. And as Germany goes, so will probably go a few of its neighbors.
Extrapolating this to the middle to end of this century, with the former United States of America dismembered by Latinos and Chinese, with Russia turned into a non-entity by Muslims and Chinese, and with England becoming a backwater third world island, with France and Spain becoming part of the New Islamic Caliphate, we could be looking at a world where Germany and surrounding countries in central Europe and Scandinavia are the shining hope for white civilization.
The irony would be that the United States, England, France and Russia all defeated Germany in wars during the 20th Century, and by the end of the 21st, Germany will still be around, and the ones that beat it will be gone.
