AFP:
A former linebacker in the Canadian Football League who is HIV-positive was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault for having unprotected sex with two unwitting women.
Trevis Smith, 30, was accused of not telling the women that he carried the virus that causes AIDS and of lying to one of them who even pressed him about persistent rumors of his malady.
(snip)
But Saskatchewan Provincial Court Judge Ken Bellerose chose to believe his accusers and a nurse who testified Smith told her the two women were kept in the dark about his condition.
If this trial was in the province of Saskatchewan, then this NFL bust or wash-up or reject probably played for the CFL team whose nickname is the Roughriders. I’ll let you make a double entendre out of this one.
