Way to Go, Ohio

It looks like you Buckeyes made the right choice for Governor in November. Then again, the other choice was a big dark one, so even notwithstanding this news, that goes without saying. Even the NRA passed on Ken Blackwell to endorse Strickland.

Ohio Governor Ted Strickland is coming out against the Iraqi refugee resettlement plan. Of course, some of us filthy right-wing untouchables who opposed the Iraq war before it started opposed it for this reason, that the inevitable imbrogliana would mean that thousands upon thousands of Shiites, Sunnites and Kurds would be “resettled” here.

If Blackwell would have won, I could imagine that he would be poodling along with the Bush administration on this issue, and not raising one public word of objection.

UPDATE 1:25 PM:  Seven thousand?  It’ll be a million before you know it.
