As a matter of tendency and generality, Canadians love to throw their own moral superiority into the faces of their southern neighbors, especially on issues of race. (No, Paul. I’m not talking about you.)
And look what it has gotten them: Bloods and Crips, two ordinarily black American street gangs, are at war with each other at a Toronto housing project.
Also on the Canadian front, Cpl. Collin Fitzgerald of the Canadian Army was assaulted and wounded by a sneak attack at a bar in Morrisburg, Ontario, by a couple of far-left miscreants who hated him because he dared fight the Taliban in Afghanistan. The screwy thing is that the left wing doesn’t disapprove of the Afghanistan venue, even though most of them oppose the war in Iraq.
It’s obvious there were political motives here, so perhaps it isn’t too much to ask if authorities there attach hate crime riders to their charges.
