Dr. Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos, the new Mexican Secretary of Health under the Felipe Calderon administration, visited San Francisco, Mexifornia to inquire about the health needs of Mexican citizens, and to work with provincial leaders on solutions.

Okay, time to stop being glib. From the San Francisco Chronicle:

Californians also should be concerned about immigrants’ health because it can affect them directly, said Xochitl Castaneda, director of the Health Initiative of the Americas, a project of the California Policy Research Center in the office of the UC president.

No kidding. They’re saying that immigration brings epidemiological challenge? I would have never thought.

Splish Splash We Don’t Want Your Trash

After Michigan raised a stink about Canadian waste filling its landfills, the House approved a bill that would allow states to reject household trash from other countries.

For more than a decade, Michigan residents have complained that trucks carrying Canadian trash clog their roads, cause environmental and health problems and create security risks because of the difficulty of screening trash for contraband.

Missing here is any mention of the trash coming from our other neighbor, the southern one. The Pacific Ocean at Southern California beaches are so filthy with litter and sewage from that other side of the border that they are almost perpetually unsafe for swimming.

Ontario has pushed to expand its landfill capacity. The city of Toronto recently bought a landfill near St. Thomas, Ontario, to divert some of the Michigan-bound garbage, and Ontario officials approved plans in January to expand a landfill in the Township of Warwick to comply with the agreement.

Toronto, another city burgeoning at the seams due to immigration.

Hispanic Riot at Indiana Prison

They don’t say it, but you can interpret it.

Indianapolis Star:

The incident began when inmates from Arizona took off their shirts in a group display of noncompliance, DOC Commissioner J. David Donahue told WTHR-TV (Channel 13). A prison employee was knocked down. That person and a second employee were treated at a hospital for scrapes and cuts.

“Inmates from Arizona” = Hispanic = mostly illegal alien. Arizona probably has to “outsource” prison inmates, because the increasing Hispanic population there necessarily leads to a bigger prison population.

Then again, one can’t depend on the Indianapolis Star to come right out and tell you the racial truth, because they boast about their racial censorship.
