The Blotter by ABC has posted photos of foreign oil workers held hostage by MEND (Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger [River] Delta), a Nigerian terrorist group that seeks to extort oil revenues from oil pumped from Nigerian soil and exported from the country.
Nigeria is quickly being conquered by Islam, and I am wondering whether MEND has links to radical Islam, if it isn’t explicitly so itself, or whether it is being prodded by radical Islam, to funnel Nigerian oil money to radical Islamic terror networks like AQ, Hamas, Hezbollah and others.
If MEND predates the Muslim proselytization in the country, then my theory about it being purely Islamic is bunk. But that would not preclude my other contentions.
