The legal fit is starting to hit the shan over the Simcox chicken wire project. A Fountain Hills, Arizona man is filing a civil suit against Chris Simcox and his “Minuteman Project” faction, alleging fraud. Had Mr. Campbell been reading this blog around June 20 of last year, he might still be living in one of the more upscale cities in the Valley of the Sun.
I could well imagine that any statements made under oath in this civil trial will be used by state and/or Federal prosecutors for criminal complaints. Charges against Mr. Simcox would mean him spending time in institutions with locks, chains, bars and tons of illegal aliens. And that would suit us in the non-hustling anti-immigration right wing just fine. With that having been said, look for Simcox to do the best he can to settle with Campbell out of court.
