Later that day, the city council, voting 9 to 3, adopted a resolution calling for Mrs. Semler’s removal from the parks board.
The story concerns one Frances Selmer, a 73-year old member of the Kansas City (Mo.) Parks and Recreation Board, who is also active with a Minuteman group.
