WSJ:
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. replaced its chief executive Monday, naming Chairman James H. Morgan to the additional posts of CEO and president, as the company continues to try to mount a turnaround.
The Winston-Salem, N.C., doughnut maker said former CEO Daryl Brewster resigned for personal reasons. He will remain an employee until the end of January and assist in the transition.
Personal reasons? Maybe diabetes.
There’s no word yet from their new CEO about the highly anticipated merger between the Kreme and the Quik Trip (QT) gas station chain based in Tulsa, Tollklahoma.
