I didn’t want him to quit. I wanted him to stay on, and fight this thing. He’s the best thing that ever happened to New York State Republicans.
Now that he is going to resign, a black man will become Governor of one of the most populous states in the union, one that is blind, but not color-blind. This is not good news for the white racialist cause, considering in addition the success of the Obama campaign for President, and that Deval Patrick came out of nowhere in 2006 to become Governor of Massachusetts. Incidents like these are only the tip of the iceberg.
