Dan Rather tweaks suit, sez CBS killed shot at big news job
It’s take two for Dan Rather in his legal fight against CBS.
The newsman - who suffered a setback last month when a judge tossed portions of his $70 million suit against the network - filed an amended suit Wednesday, blaming CBS for trashing his chances at landing a high-profile gig because he was “too hot to handle.”
Rather says potential job opportunities at CNN, NBC, Fox, A&E and other networks fell by the wayside because he came with “too much baggage.”
The last sentence is right if you remove “bagg.”
