Mayor Makes Public Apology
PORTLAND, Ore. — Mayor Sam Adams apologized publicly Tuesday for lying about a relationship he had with an 18-year-old former intern.
Adams, who is openly gay, acknowledged the sexual relationship with ex-legislative intern Beau Breedlove on his Web site Monday evening.

“Although my relationship was legal and consensual, because of my elected position in the community, it was inappropriate for me to have a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old,” Adams said.
What? Where’s the massive media/lib bitching that there was over Mark Foley? The analogy there doesn’t hold, because Foley didn’t have a relationship with a House page, only giving him advice about five-fingered fun. That kind of counsel, of course, libs have no problem with if the same young man would have heard it from his public school teachers, and the sort that the first Surgeon General for the previous Democrat President endorsed. The difference is that Republicans don’t run much of anything anymore, and nothing on the Federal level, so the lib/media doesn’t need to connive to discourage Republican voters from voting Republican. Even though Mark Foley never kept his orientation a secret through his political career.
The Mayor is openly gay, yet did someone named “Breed Love.” Talk about an unfortunate name.
