Donnybrook to Become Interesting Again

6 07 2009

The ole horse’s ass is retiring next month.  If I were still living in St. Louis, it wouldn’t be soon enough for me.  For the irony of the “conservative” Donnybrook moderator leading is that the show’s most notorious liberal, Ray Hartmann, will very likely get much less mouth time.  Martin Duggan and Hartmann are good friends, and therefore Donnybrook has been unwatchable ever since Rich Koster died.  After that, Duggan let Hartmann turn DB into his own personal soapbox.  And, at least up through last December, Hartmann was the DB host most often on the post-DB call in react show.  When Rich Koster was on, he was a reliable counterweight to Hartmann.

I still don’t know the exact relationship between Rich Koster and Missouri AG Chris Koster, if any.  The reason I think the former is the latter’s father is because Martin Duggan himself said it on DB.  Also, what did Rich Koster do at Channel 5 when he was still living?  IIRC, I heard him say that he was the GM, but some smart ass know-it-all kook lib from St. Louis e-mailed me to say that he was the “Program Manager,” and that Rich and Chris are not at all related.  In any case, I know I heard Rich Koster say that he was directly responsible for the Rush Limbaugh TV show being in Channel 5 and in a respectable timeslot (after Carson/Leno) for its entire run.  He couldn’t have done that w/o being in some serious position of authority at KSDK.

Ray Hartmann has a brother named Dale, that I met while working at a south St. Louis County polling place in the August 1996 Primary Election.  As liberal as Ray is, that’s how conservative Dale is.  As a matter of fact, Dale told me that he was the chairman of the group against the mid-1990s attempt to incorporate of all of South County into a municipality called Southpointe, and he lived across the street from the chairman of the pro-Southpointe effort.  As it is, Southpointe failed, and Dale told me in a real simple succinct way why he was opposed, words that I won’t forget even if I live to a be a thousand years old:  “Why create another government to suck off us?”

UPDATE 10/7: Someone claiming to be the real Ray Hartmann e-mailed me today saying he is an only child.  If it’s true, then there’s someone in Oakville falsely claiming that he is RH’s brother.

Black-Run U.S. Justice Department Supports Racial Profiling of Blacks

6 07 2009

Who knew Eric Holder had any brains?  He declared what us right wingers knew all along, and that is the Arkansas military recruiter shootings were hate crimes.

Now, he’s advising us to avoid groups of young black men.

He didn’t exactly say that, but I heard a PA spot during a commercial break for the Rush Limbaugh show, (not guest hosted by Mark Steyn), funded by the DOJ and the NCPC, talking about the recent trend of pack robberies.  The ad advises you to “trust your instincts” and “avoid suspicious looking groups of people.”  One of the ways they say you can do that is to travel on well-traveled thoroughfares, and avoid dark unlit areas at night.  It also said that “in times like these,” pack robberies are becoming more and more common.

By “suspicious looking groups of people,” they mean young black men.  By “dark unlit areas,” they mean ghetto streets that are dark because the thugs have shot out all the street lights, b/c they don’t want the “white poleeeeceseses” to see their dope dealing.  By “in times like these,” they mean black arrogance on the heels of the election of Mr. Holder’s boss.

Independence Weekend Wrap-Up

6 07 2009

(1)  On Thursday night, I officially became a sheeple.  I joined the herd and started a Twitter account.  The main reason I did was to be able to link this blog’s feed to Twitter, which will perhaps draw me a few more eyeballs.  In the process, I found out that some of the news sources I read regularly and do not push RSS feeds are on Twitter, so I follow those.  It saves me from having to visit those websites in my browser on a daily basis.

One of the Twitterers I follow is named Dana Loesch, a young woman about my age who has a show on 97.1 FM talk station in St. Louis.  She spearheads the St. Louis tea party movement.  On the evening that I started using Twitter, she pushed out a couple of tweets that the insurance company that insures the St. Louis tea party public events pulled the rug right out from under them.  She eventually found a new insurer, just in the nick of time to hold the Tea Party on Saturday.  She also found out that the driving force was the insurance company’s reinsurer.  That got her (and me) to thinking — Obama?  AIG?  Was this all a last minute attempt on the part of the Obamanuts to stop the July 4 tea parties?  As it turns out, this happened to tea party organizers in a couple of other cities.  Obviously, the tea parties need insurance, because it’s now way too big a target, and it’s only a matter of time until some libkook/Marxist/anarchist/provocateur comes to one of the tea parties and stirs up shit.  Sans insurance, the tea party organizers would be liable personally, and could lose their shirts.

(2)  A cousin of mine back in St. Louis e-mailed me and said that he was watching some credible news source on Thursday night, which said that when Elvis Presley left this world a few months after I came into it, the news of his death didn’t happen on the Walter Kronkite-anchored CBS Evening News until 17 minutes after the beginning.  Contrast to Michael Jackson, which was the MSM wall-to-wall story at the end of last week; I’m sure that there was no more than 5 minutes of real news on Gibson, Couric and Williams combined, plus the non-Fox cable gabbers.  Can anyone confirm the source of this Elvis contention, and the veracity of it?

(3)  A Chicago P.D. blogger named “Second City Cop” notices that assaults on CPD officers by black thugs are not only happening more frequently, but are also “more brazen lately.”  Hmm, I wonder if the election of a black Chicagoan as President has anything to do with it.

(4)  The UK’s crime rate is worse than America’s and worse than South Africa’s — the only reason it didn’t seem that way up until now is that the Blair/Brown Labor Party governments have been whitewashing crime stats.

Will this now end patronizing holier-than-thou British and European liberal know-it-all from lecturing the United States of America?   England is nowhere near as non-white as the United States, but already has a higher crime rate.  Imagine how bad it will be once England gets to where America is now, 1/3 non-white.

So much for gun control.

UPDATE:  BNP disputes, speculating that these stats are Tory election year propaganda.

(5)  Shades of RicciFlorida Supremes knock back Gov. Charlie Sotomayor Crist’s rejection of a recommended list of Florida Appeals Court nominees.  Crist rejected the list because it was too white, FL Supremes say you can’t do that.

The Florida Supreme Court is notable because one of its members is Charles Canady.  Canady was a Congressman from Florida through the first several years of the “Republican Revolution,” and he foolishly believed that Nut Gingrich was actually conservative.  When Canady tried to eliminate Federal government affirmative action mandates, Gingrich rebuked him over and over again.  Canady got so disgusted that he quit the House in disgust.  Now, he’s on the Florida Supreme Court, where at least in the context of this ruling, he got his sweet payback.  Payback’s a bitch, ain’t it, Charlie?

I hope the Democrats nominate a black man or woman for Senate in 2010.  This will put Crist in the world’s worst Catch-22.

(6)  The Gillibrand vs Maloney “fight” in New York State pits the Obamas vs the Clintons, respectively.  And, like last year, I think the Obamas will come out on the winning side of that next year.

(7)  Lori Drew went to Federal district court in Los Angeles, expecting to be sentenced to a stint in Club Fed.  Instead, the judge did freedom a big favor, and nullified her conviction, opining that if Lori Drew broke Federal law, then “everyone who has ever violated a website’s rules would” have also.

(8)  The Obama administration is inadvertently doing freedom a big favor, and attaching net neutrality mandates to rural broadband access plans.  Now it can go one step further and ban broadband caps.

(9)  When the U.S. Armed Forces could not find evidence of Saddam Hussein ever having WMDs, I thought that Saddam had them moved out of Iraq in advance of the invasion, and that the Pentagon and CIA wasn’t telling the truth, because telling the truth would have been really embarrassing, so much so that they promulgated the notion that Saddam never had them.  As it turns out, Saddam never really had them, and only huffed and puffed and bluffed about having them to stave off Iran.  That said, it’s another reason why we should have never gone into Iraq.  Didn’t any of the six-figure salary Pentagon/CIA geniuses consider the possibility that Saddam was bluffing before we went in?

(10)  The U.S. is telling Russia to get over the Cold War?  Now there’s the pot calling the kettle black.  Not one of the six-figure salary foreign policy geniuses at State has ever considered the option of bringing Russia in to a nuclear missile defense shield, not isolating them from it.

(11)  Someone should tell Michael Bloomberg to get over the War Between the States.  There hasn’t been this much interference by New York City into the internal affairs of the state of Virginia since 1865.

(12)  There are so many Colombian inmates at the D.C. city jail that have real links to drug gangs and rebel groups that the city is asking the Feds for reimbursement and extra security.  Yeah, they have a real problem on their hands; all they can do now is dream about the good ole days when the jail’s inmates were all domestic blacks.

Mutually Inclusive

6 07 2009

Stan Liebowitz, an Econ Prof at the University of Texas-Dallas, writes in the WSJ that the mortgage crisis wasn’t really caused by subprime mortgage rates, (hence the phrase “subprime crisis”), but the bigger problem was the “no down payment” voulez-vous les bon temps roulet.

He’s both right and wrong.

He’s wrong not because he’s literally wrong, but because “no down payment” and “subprime” aren’t mutually exclusive concepts, but they are two different faces of the same polyhedron, that being affirmative action in mortgage lending.  President Bush (43) had a direct hand in weakening down payment standards, because in his opinion, down payment requirements were discriminatory, because they had a disparate impact on black and Hispanic home buyers.  No shit, sherlock — they were/are discriminatory; they weed out those who won’t make the mortgage payments.

He’s right, because the old tried and true 20% down payment requirement was a bank mechanism to insure that you started the mortgate with skin in the game.  Since you started the mortgage with 0.2 multiplied by the selling price of the house of equity in the house, you know you’d lose that equity if you didn’t make the payments.  That was your incentive to make the payments, as long as you had the money to do so.  It’s also insurance for the bank — if they have to foreclose, they break even if they can sell the house for 80% of the selling price, which, figurativey speaking, is a flotation device to ensure that the bank isn’t “underwater.”  Also, high down payment percentage requirements acted as a governor to keep home prices from accelerating too high, such that there are no severe boom and bust cycles in real estate such that lenders and borrowers never really wind up “underwater.”  If everyone had to come up with 20% down, the average selling price for a house in the San Fernando Valley would have never gone up from $150G to $600G from 1997 to 2007, and since they would have never shot up, they would have never shot down.

Liebowitz does not mention this, but another standard eviscerated in the affirmative action lending circus was the percentage of gross (pre-tax) income monthly payment camp.  Back in the days of sanity, 28% was the cap.  During the height of the circus, the cap was over 60%.  (Which, for many people, is almost all of their after-tax income).  Now, it’s back down to 33%.

The Non-White Elephant in the Room

6 07 2009

If Thomas Edison would have spent more time and money on light bulb designs that didn’t work, you would still be illuminating your nights by lighting solid wax.  If the Wright Brothers focused their energies on airplanes that didn’t fly, you would still have to go to Europe on a boat.

And that is the way the British primary education system works; focusing more time, money and resources on children that are smarter than ones that aren’t.  But there are serious proposals to go back to the candle and boat days.  It isn’t mentioned in the prose of this article, but the whole thing I think has to do with race, and racial pandering to Britain’s St. Minorities.

Intellect On Parade

6 07 2009

One of my geeky hobby interests is radio.  I’m a ham, thought I don’t use my FCC-granted privileges in this stead too often.  When I travel to an area not my own, I bring along my CCRadio (soon to be replaced by the CCRadio2) to check out the comings and goings in that particular local market.

Thus, on a trip to southeastern Wisconsin, I expected to be serenaded to hours on end of a radio station that plays “All Polka All the Time,” which perhaps has an HD Radio subchannel that showcases up-and-coming polka artists and their songs.  Alas, my smart ass stereotype turned out not to be anywhere near true.  But I did land on a Chicago talk station that broadcasts on 1690 AM, that is a fringe reception station in Lake Geneva with a good radio.

It’s a black talk radio station, call letters WVON, the kind of which I think every city should have five of so white people finally understand black culture, if they don’t already.  Imagine five Lizz Browns and five Onion Hortons on the radio in every town in the country.  You couldn’t buy better advertising for white racialism/race realism/nationalism.

At the time I was listening, late in the afternoon on now I can’t remember what day, the host (black) was taking phone calls.  A black woman called in and was talking about the problems that black men with felony conviction records had in post-prison life, two of which were voting (see my footnote below) and getting legit employment.  The woman thinks that the state should not classify things such as murder, armed robbery and other crimes as felonies, but misdemeanors.  The host reminded the woman that you can still own guns legally if you only have a misdemeanor record.  She then recommended to ban guns for misdemeanants.  (Not her actual words, but that’s what she meant.)  Of course in Chicago, handguns are banned for everyone, so if that ever came to pass, it would be superfluous.  The host said that it was a great idea, knock murder down to a misdemeanor if it happens in Chicago, then don’t allow those who have misdemeanor records (he didn’t limit that to Chicago) to own guns legally.  He then said that since the CPD have had problem singing up people for the academy because felons can’t be cops, and since these men would not have felony sheets, this would solve the Chicago Police Department’s recruitment problem. (I’ll give you a few minutes to roll around on the floor laughing your ass off; Remember, cops are allowed to have guns.)  Intellect on parade.

Footnote:  There are only two states (FL, KY) that have lifetime blanket banks on felons voting.  Almost all the other states allow felons to vote after they have finished their prison sentence and/or probation.  The rub with so many black felons in Chicago and otherwise is that they can’t behave long enough to get off probation in order to be able to vote again.  Look for the Eric Holder “Just-Us” Department to rant and rave about the “disparate impact” of the completion-of-probation stipulations, and they might go so far as to allow imprisoned felons to vote, based on the same.  Perhaps they can get work furloughs to go to their jobs as police officers in the CPD that a certain talk host in Chicago might want them to have (but not bearing the guns that he doesn’t want them to have).  Except that bad ole me forgot that there would be no more black felons.

I can see why you would want those with misdemeanor murder convictions to be unarmed cops on the CPD.  Black youths do need role models, and if they see their own people as cops, this will make them behave.

Media Trying to Blame Bad Behavior of the University of Florida’s Black Football Players On Its White Head Coach

Yahoo Sports:

Florida’s arrests under Meyer garnering attention

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP)—Former Florida offensive lineman Drew Miller remembers all the team meetings, the lengthy lectures about hanging out with the right people, making smart decisions and avoiding situations that would draw negative attention.

To Miller, it seemed like Gators coach Urban Meyer or one of his assistants was always talking about staying out of trouble.

Miller also knew that message wouldn’t reach all his teammates.

“It’s not going to get to everyone,” said Miller, who graduated last year and is trying to catch on in the NFL. “There’s so many players. You can’t baby-sit them all. There’s too many guys to keep them all out of trouble. Someone’s going to screw up.”

That’s certainly been the case at Florida, where there have been 24 arrests involving Gators over the last four years under Meyer.

Although the number of Florida players arrested is similar to that of its rivals, the Gators are getting attention because they have won two national titles in the last three years and have a coach who emphasizes good behavior.

(snip)

Florida’s opponents have also had their problems.

Florida State’s football program has dealt with 13 arrests over the same four-year period, according to research by The Gainesville Sun, while Tennessee has had 21 arrests and Georgia 30.

What obviously must be going on is that Urban Meyer is sending secret subliminal messages in his “good behavior” talks, that give his players permission to be boisterous and rowdy in a criminal way.  Two of the school’s three national championships have happened under Meyer’s tenure.  No good deed goes unpunished.

Caution: Low Clearance Ahead

6 07 2009

The New York Post tries to give rhyme and reason to the fact that the NYPD hasn’t cleared three in ten homicides in the last decade.  While the clearance rate was even worse during the height of the crack epidemic, it is way down compared to the 1950s and early 60s.  Also, the murder rate among non-blacks has been decreasing, but is staying the same among blacks.  The NYP gives four theories, which I have varying levels of agreement, concurrence and disagreement with.

I don’t know if a homicide is considered cleared or not if a bagged suspect is found not guilty by a jury, or the DA drops the case after too many hung  juries.  But if it does, I have two theories of my own to explain that:

(1)  The CSI Effect, in reverse.  As the NYP says, CSI is teaching criminals how to cover their tracks.  But on the flip side of the coin, it is giving real-world jurors far too lofty expectations of police work.  If the real NYPD don’t do it as well as it’s done on CSI, then real world jurors are more and more arriving at not guilty verdicts.

(2)  Jury nullification.  If you’re a minority criminal suspect, and you go to trial, Federal (and presumably, New York State) civil rights laws virtually guarantee that you will have at least one of your racial brethren on the jury.  “Don’t be sendin one more of our babies into the hands of the man and his prisons.”

Sarah Palin Is Cashing In, IMHO

3 07 2009

Greetings from Wisconsin.  I know I promised no new posts until Monday, but wouldn’t ya know it — Events overcame me.  The news of Sarah Palin resigning as Governor of Alaska later this month happened just minutes after Rush Limbaugh left the air, and he’s out on vacation all next week.  He won’t have a chance to react until a week from Monday.  I, however, merely needed to find a computer, after having sobered up.

I don’t think she is resigning in order to have more time to run for President.  As it is, even as prolonged as the Presidential campaign season has become, it doesn’t really begin until the start of the year before the election, in the case of 2012, that being January 2011.  Second, serving out one’s own full term as Governor but not running for re-election worked out so well for Mitt Romney, and Palin won’t even finish her first and only term.  Current occupant notwithstanding, you really need to have been elected to multiple terms as Senator or Governor in order to have credibility in the Presidential campaign.

Why would she chuck the almost certain reality of her being the Republican nominee for President in 2012, and her actually being President if Obama flops or the economy remains bad?  My guess is that she has some sort of big money offer from some political organization, lobbying group, quasi-political Christian ministry or church, or something like that.  Follow the money.

Now, the GOP field in ’12 looks really barren and putrid.  President Obama might not actually need to campaign for re-election.

UPDATE 7/9: The father of Sarah Palin’s first grandchild says that it’s about the money.  He claims that he overheard what could have been his mother-in-law talking about a reality show and a book deal.

“Not Appropriate For High School Football”

2 07 2009

But does anyone remember college football before about 1996?  Guys folding their jerseys under the pads to show off their whole chest between the waste and the pecks got so bad that the NCAA finally had to crack down.  And this wasn’t during practice, this was during the actual game.  Many did it, but the wide receivers and cornerbacks were the most likely to show off.

No “Boy Crisis”

2 07 2009

LiveScience:

U.S. Society Ignoring Serious Boy Problems

Growing up is tough. But for boys, it may be even tougher.

While both boys and girls face issues – in school and out – the problems affecting boys are serious and have not been properly addressed by policy makers, according to a new review article by psychologist Judith Kleinfeld. Among the results: high rates of functional illiteracy and a troublingly high suicide rate that’s become even more pronounced in recent years compared to the rate among girls.

“Boys’ issues are being neglected, whereas girls’ issues have been addressed for over 20 years, with great success,” said Kleinfeld, a professor at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. “Now it’s time to turn our attention to boys.”

Following concerns about psychological and educational problems affecting girls in the early 1990s, discussion of a so-called “boy crisis” emerged. Some publications claimed that boys were falling behind girls in school success and that feminist ideology was partly to blame for lack of attention on the issue.

In her paper, Kleinfeld examines gender differences through a number of academic and social measures. She looked at educational achievement, school grades, engagement in schools, dropout rates, college entrances tests, suicide rates, depression problems, and conduct disorders for both girls and boys. She concludes that, while neither gender is in a crisis, boys’ issues are troubling and overlooked.

Johnny struggles to read

Kleinfeld finds that, compared with girls, American boys have lower literacy rates, lower grades, less engagement during school and higher drop-out rates. Boys also have higher rates of suicide, arrests and premature death.

This is so dishonest and misleading, I don’t know where to start.

Ever hear of testosterone?  That would explain the higher arrest rate and premature death rate, i.e. from risky behavior, especially from boys and men under the age of full brain development, about 25 years old.  Of course sophomoric and risky behavior might make for a bad civilian, but it makes for a great soldier.

As far as suicide, I’ve heard it said numerous times that girls try more often, but boys succeed more often.  I don’t know if it’s true, and just hearing something repeated over and over again ad nauseam and taken as an article of faith is the main reason I doubt it.  But if it is true, and if girls could knock themselves off at the same success rate as boys, then suicide would be a girl problem.  Also, race comes into play in a discussion of suicide; whites have a higher suicide rate than non-whites, especially blacks, because suicide is most often a direct result of shame.  You have to have a conscience and intelligence to feel shame.

Most of the rest of this can be explained by race and racial differences.  The United States of America does not have a “boy crisis,” it’s just black and Hispanic boys being who they are.

An Old Fiend Is Back in the News

2 07 2009

P-D:

Pa. law firm to pay penalty for Gephardt donations

JEFFERSON CITY– A Pennsylvania law firm is to pay $155,000 to settle allegations that it illegally funneled money to the presidential campaign of former Missouri Rep. Dick Gephardt.

The Federal Election Commission had accused the Karoly Law Offices, of Allentown, Pa., and its president John Karoly Jr. of reimbursing employees for $13,000 of contributions to Gephardt’s campaign in 2003.

Federal law bars corporate contributions to candidates and prohibits people from contributing money under another person’s name.

I wonder what the attraction of the Karoly Firm in Allentown, Penn. was for a St. Louis-area Congressman running for President.  Search engines yield no answers.

Since the reimbursements happened in 2003, I am assuming that they related to contributions to Gephardt’s nascent and never-gotten-off-the-ground 2000 run.  The only other time he ran was in 1988.

Is Roy Blunt Really That Stupid?

2 07 2009

P-D:

Roy Blunt touts his insider support; Democrats do, too

JEFFERSON CITY — Congressman Roy Blunt wants to make sure he controls the news cycle this quarter.

The Republican from Springfield who is running for U.S. Senate in 2010 took a first quarter beating in the political press in Washington, D.C., and Missouri after Democratic opponent Robin Carnahan doubled him up in fund-raising.

This time, Blunt is touting his success before the dollars have all been counted. Spokesman Rich Chrismer sent a news release today saying that Blunt raised more than $1 million this quarter, which would be about twice what he raised during the campaign’s first three months.

In the release, Blunt continued to tout his big-name endorsers, from outgoing Sen. Kit Bond, to John Ashcroft, Peter Kinder, Jim Talent, Jack Danforth and Jo Ann Emerson.

At the same time, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, is noting the same names, but as a criticism of Blunt’s ties to the Washington, D.C., establishment. The DSCC, which has been ramping up its criticism of Blunt, is picking up on a line Sarah Steelman used in criticizing Blunt, calling him “another white guy in a suit.”

I suppose Blunt is that stupid.  Touting that insiders like you.  What will he do in his last months in the House to bolster his Senate bid?  Introduce a bill called No Billionaire Left Behind?

Add together Bond, Ashcroft, Kinder, Talent, Danforth and Old Lady Emerson, and you still don’t get a real human being.

I still think that Mrs. Antolinez will win, but with digs and antics like “another white guy in a suit,” i.e. hating white people, the Democrats are themselves doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

We’ll Be Thinking About Affirmative Action for a Very Long Time to Come

In an Associated Press interview Thursday, Obama said affirmative action can be made an “afterthought” when problems such as malnutrition, poverty and substandard schools are dealt with, and “everybody has a level playing field.”

No such thing.  See Murray and Hernstein, The Bell Curve.

Malnutrition, poverty and substandard schools are symptoms of racial differences, not causes.  If you transvert an inner city school district to their cities’ suburbs, you would have a great school district.  Likewise, if you transvert the “good” suburban districts to the inner cities, they would get bad all of a sudden.  How good or bad a school district is depends on whether the district’s students want to learn, which itself is a function of intelligence, which in turn is a function of race.

This is President Obama’s attempt to triangulate the affirmative action issue out of the public consciousness, so that it doesn’t hurt Democrats in 2010 and himself in 2012.

Racial Profiling

Houston Chronicle:

Federal agents hunt for guns, one house at a time

(snip)

Success on the front lines of a government blitz on gunrunners supplying Mexican drug cartels with Houston weaponry hinges on logging heavy miles and knocking on countless doors. Dozens of agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives — sent here from around the country — are needed to follow what ATF acting director Kenneth Melson described as a “massive number of investigative leads.”

All told, Mexican officials in 2008 asked federal agents to trace the origins of more than 7,500 firearms recovered at crime scenes in Mexico. Most of them were traced back to Texas, California and Arizona.

Among other things, the agents are combing neighborhoods and asking people about suspicious purchases as well as seeking explanations as to how their guns ended up used in murders, kidnappings and other crimes in Mexico.

(snip)

The mission is especially challenging because, officials say, that while Houston is the number one point of origin for weapons traced back to the United States from Mexico, the government can’t compile databases on gun owners under federal law.

Agents instead review firearms dealers’ records in person.

Except that legal American guns are only a very small percentage of Mexican guns used in crimes.

You may think this is unconstitutional harassment, and I agree.  But it won’t take the Federal judiciary to stop it.  It’s only a matter of days until ADL, SPLC, ACLU, La Raza, MECHA, MALDEF and LULAC start bitching.  At that point, it will only a matter of milliseconds until the ATF stops it.

Our Yankee Government will go through all of this, at great expense, but won’t spend dime one to secure the fiction formerly known as the “border” to make sure that Mexican gangsters cannot enter to U.S. to procure said firearms.

Boys and Girls, Repeat After Me: Foreign Policy in the Obama Administration Goes Through Joe Biden.

2 07 2009

And Joe Biden is going through Iraq as I type these words.

If there is any one good thing that has come out of the Obama ascent to power, it is the evisceration of Clinton, Inc.  And him making her the “Secretary of State” on paper is a doubly brilliant strategery to isolate both her and Bill.  It’s the worst of both worlds for her:  She can’t pull any of the real fopo levers.  In spite of that, if the Obama Administration is a success, it precludes her from running in 2012, and if it is a failure, his failures will also be her failures, so she can’t run in 2012.

Pursuit Policy

The Marines in Afghanistan now have a pursuit policy very similar to the St. Louis City Police Department in St. Louis.  Which is too bad for Afghanistan — Have they seen North St. Louis?

Census Bureau Tells the Truth; Mayor Slay Will Soon React By Asking Census/Obama/ACORN to Lie

CB seys STL’s pop declined 2008 over 2007.  Of course it declined the several previous years before that, except that gooberfuck at Room 200 pulled propaganda strings to get the CB to “correct” its findings, i.e. lie.

The legerdemain used to “raise” St. Louis’s population for the several few years was to count the number of people a renovated or new loft or residence could house, and assume that there were that many people living there, even if there really were not.

AQ Honors Its Sisters and Daughters — By Cramming Them Into Burquas

1 07 2009

AFP:

Qaeda warns France of revenge for burka stance

Al-Qaeda’s North Africa wing threatened on Tuesday to take revenge on France for its opposition to the burka, calling on Muslims to retaliate against the country, the US monitoring service SITE Intelligence reported.

Earlier this month, President Nicolas Sarkozy said the burka, which covers the whole face, was not welcome in the strictly secular country.

“Yesterday was the hijab (the Islamic headscarf long banned in French schools) and today, it is the niqab (the full veil),” Abu Musab Abdul Wadud, head of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb was quoted as saying.

“We will take revenge for the honour of our daughters and sisters against France and against its interests by every means at our disposal.”

What the stupid fanatical asses at “Qaeda” do not realize is that the same French liberalism that let them into France also wants to ban the burqua.

But Nobody’s Going to Do Anything

AP:

Gunmen fire on group of Detroit teens, wounding 7
DETROIT – Gunmen in a green minivan opened fire on a group of teenagers waiting at a bus stop near a Detroit school on Tuesday, wounding seven including two who were in critical condition, authorities said.

Five of the teens had just left Cody Ninth Grade Academy, where they were taking summer classes, when they were shot at the nearby bus stop.

The gunmen exited a vehicle and “asked for a person by name” before they “opened fire at the crowd,” said Detroit Public Schools Police Chief Roderick Grimes.

Detroit Police were looking for two suspects in a green minivan, said spokesman Rod Liggons. Officers were interviewing some of the victims in the hospital Tuesday evening, he said.

Four boys and three girls ranging in age from 14 to 17 years old were hospitalized, two of them — a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old female — in critical condition, said Deputy Chief James Tolbert.

Gas station owner Steve Hakim said he saw two people with T-shirts covering their heads run across his lot toward the bus stop. Then he heard about 10 gunshots, saw a boy and a girl fall down and called 911.

“It’s pretty scary,” Hakim said. “Somebody’s got to do something.”

The irony of someone with an Arabic name in Detroit saying that is that almost all of the Arabs and blacks in Detroit are there because Henry Ford invited their immediate ancestors to Detroit to be scabs and union busters.  This is why responsible right wingers don’t lionize Henry Ford, unlike those whose standards are so low, that they turn him into a big supposed racial hero, because he once made a few comments about a certain ethnicity.  Didn’t like Jews, but loved his Arabs and blacks.  Last I looked, Jews weren’t mowing down teenagers at a bus stop in Detroit, nor were they ramming jumbo jets into skyscrapers.
