Mike Anderson:

House, MD — Dr. Gillespie ripoff?

The Dr. Gillespie movies in the early 1940′s were a huge hit, as were the books featuring the character by Max Brand. I stumbled across a couple of the flicks on cable and dove right in because Lionel Barrymore has always been one of my favorite actors.

Dr. G was a world-reknowned diagnostician, a wheelchair bound curmudgeon who tackled (and solved) the toughest medical problems. He had a female and two male assistants, whom he was always pitching against eachother with threats of firing.

Sound familiar? In a subsequent Dr. G movie, one of his assistants was played by a very young Keye Luke, whom you might remember as Caine’s teacher/mentor in the TV series Kung Fu. Luke, of Chinese descent, played the character as a true-blue American from Brooklyn (he said he was from that borough almost every line) to make his character more likeable during the early days of the war with Japan.

It’s clear that House’s creators tied the Sherlock Holmes legend into the old Dr. Gillespie stories. I think they owe Max Brand’s estate a few bucks.

There’s somebody else to whom they might owe a few bucks.

When House started in 2004, I joined a Yahoo Group for House fans.  When I joined, it only had a few people, but as House became more and more popular, as Fox put it after American Idol, giving House a strong lead-in, the number of people that joined the YG skyrocketed, and I dropped out because of the volume of messages.  Otherwise, I’m glad I was on the ground floor of something?

Anyway, one of the YG’s members, named Louann, who was there when I joined, discovered this:

When that elderly lady patient uttered the words “Cupid’s Disease” a few weeks ago, I knew I’d heard them before. I had a clear memory of a book of weird medical stories where exactly the same thing had happened, except that the patient had been infected when she was a young, er, sex worker in a brothel before she got married.

Sorry to build up false suspense: I didn’t find my source. But I looked through “The Medical Detectives” by Berton Roueche, which is where I thought I’d read the story, and I did find other interesting tidbits:

Chapter 4 “The Incurable Wound” — a woman dies of untreated rabies.

Chapter 9 “The Orange Man” — A man who constantly eats fresh carrots and tomatoes turns, well, you know. (His wife was not having an affair; apparently the color change was gradual enough that she didn’t notice either.)

Chapter 10 “The Dead Mosquitoes” — two boys fall ill from what turns out to be pesticide contaminated thrift-store jeans. Other pairs were contaminated too, but the other kids escaped injury because their mothers washed the clothes before they were worn the first time.

Chapter 13 “Three Sick Babies” — several babies become ill, and two die, from hospital-caused infection in a newborn nursery. (Not from the stuffed-animals lady. An aerator in a sink faucet — that wire screen the water runs through — was full of bacteria.)

chapter 19, “Antipathies” — a young woman with allergies to everything which turned out to be caused by her copper-bearing IUD.

There are 22 case histories in that book and a further 23 in the sequel “The Medical Detectives Volume II.” I still haven’t found my story of the ex-professional who used the term Cupid’s Disease, but I feel quite sure ofat least one book the script writers have been reading.

This was only weeks after John F’n Kerry lost the Presidential election, because the formerly conservative blog Little Green Footballs determined that Dan Rather’s documents about President Bush’s National Guard service were fake.  I told the group that this could be our documentgate scandal, but they brushed me off.  It looks like Mike Anderson should have pushed the issue :)

Good News for KMOX

16 09 2009

Rush Limbaugh’s ratings are way up for August over July.  Rush on KMOX drew an 8.3 in July, and a 9.1 in August.  Though it’s nowhere near the 26.0 share that KMOX got in one of the 1976 quarterly books, I’m sure they’ll take it.

As an aside, I can hear (or usually, record) Rush’s show on one of six stations.  WCIL, 1020 AM in Carbondale, WJPF, 1340 AM in Herrin, WMIX, 940 AM in Mount Vernon, KZIM, 960 in Limbaughville, WKYX, 570 AM in Paducah, and of course KMOX.  (I usually record WCIL).  My CCRadio can pick up two other Rush affiliates during the day that my CCWitness cannot, 1400 KSIM in Sikeston, and KREI 800 AM in Farmington.  WKYX-FM 94.3, the FM counterpart to Paducah’s 570 AM, is an extremely fringe station where I live.

UPDATE 9/26: Somebody e-mailed me to ask why I just didn’t subscribe to Rush 24/7 and get the podcasts free of commercials and news.  The reason is that I would have to go through the iCabal — Rush’s official podcasts are only available on the iCabal’s online music store, which can only be accessed by the iCabal’s media player and management software, which only allows for transfer and syncing with the iCabal’s portable media devices.  I don’t want the iCabal’s bloated piece of software on my computer, and that explains why (other than the fact that my CCWitness can record and play AM radio as well as FM) why I don’t have the iCabal’s portable media player.  And since you have to activate the iCabal’s smartphone with the iCabal’s bloated software, now you know why I don’t have or want one of those, either.

So what if I have to hear the occasional ad for Brad the Furniture King in Carbondale?

They Used to Call It “Western Civ.” Now It’s Just Another Semester of World History.

16 09 2009

CofCC:

Bedford/St. Martin textbook company declares war on White history.

It’s bad enough that High School text books now preach anti-white bigotry and are designed to instill white guilt. Now Bedford/St. Martins Publishing has decreed that white people should not even be pictured on the front cover of a textbook on Western Civilization.

This is the new 9th edition of a History of Western Society from textbook company Houghton Mifflin. It is touted as the “gold standard” textbook for AP European History. AP means it is for “advanced placement” classes in High School. They are intended to be college level and many major colleges grant incoming freshman credit hours for AP classes.

Instead of putting a Western man on the cover an obscure Mulatto is placed on the cover.

This shit has been going on for a number of years.  When I was taking Western Civ in high school, during my Senior year, we were using the same Houghton Mifflin textbooks that St. Louis University used about ten years earlier.  And of course, it focused entirely on the accomplishments of white people, like it should.  However, when I was getting ready to graduate, my Western Civ teacher showed me the H/M W/C textbook that would be used in next year’s class.  They were already starting to creep in units about India (Raj and post-Raj), China and the Arab/Muslim world.  Even my teacher, who was (and presumably still is) somewhat left-of-center politically, was taken aback.  What he said to me is something I won’t forget even if I live to be a thousand years old:  “If they wanted to publish a world history textbook, that’s fine.  But just don’t pass that off as Western Civilization.”

As an aside, the only problem I had with Western Civilization, as interpreted before the PC madness began, is that Greco-Roman, Eastern European and Slavic, and Western European cultures are all considered Western Civilization.  I don’t lump them all together anymore — The late Carroll Quigley, who was a Georgetown University history professor that blew the lid off the Anglo-American establishment, (and was murdered because of it), considered Greco-Hellenistic-Roman civilization, Western Civilization and Slavic Civilization to be distinct constructs.  While he rightly concedes that GHR heavily influenced Western and Slavic, and that Western and Slavic are cousins, that there is a difference between Western and Slavic, and they are not samey-same.  Quigley cites Charlemagne as the founder of Western Civilization, and that two legacies of Charlemagne’s life’s work were to:  (1) Fuse Roman ways with Germanic ways, and (2) To Christianize formerly Pagan Germanic peoples.  I could add that his grandfather set it all up for him by beating back the Islamic invasion in what is now central France.

“Edgy” and “Kirkwood” — Two Words That Don’t Belong Together

16 09 2009

Todd Akin’s got a challenger within his own party.  Insert laugh tracks here.

P-D:

U.S. Rep. Todd Akin will have some company on the August ballot next year.

Kirkwood Republican Liz Lauber announced today that she will challenge the five-term Republican in the 2010 primary.

A Kirkwood Republican.  That’s all I need to know.  After the Cookie Monster of Kirkwood did his thing almost a year ago, I kept my ear to the ground really closely.  Come to find out, the Cookie Monster did what he did because Kirkwood’s polticians, almost Republican in everything, did nothing but pander and grovel to him.  Then again, Jerkwood’s Republicans have always been problematic on race — the Kirkwood School District, run by school board members who have had close alliances with Republicans, was about the first school district in St. Louis County to embrace the deseg program.

“My opponent won a narrow primary victory in 2000 and has not faced a tough general election campaign. After what will be ten years in office for my opponent, I intend to mount a competitive race to give voters a clear choice,” Lauber said in a news release. “Todd Akin calls himself a ‘conservative with a soft edge,’ and I consider myself ‘an edgy conservative.’”

That Akin has not faced a tough campaign since that primary in 2000 doesn’t mean that he’s weak, dear.

I looked at her website, and she’s entirely about fiscal conservative stuff.  That fits the Kirkwood Republican model very well.  Kirkwood got its start because upper middle class businessmen who worked in St. Louis City wanted a relatively rural homestead, when the railroad stop in Kirkwood opened up to create that opportunity.

But for Miss Lauber to complain about Akin backsliding on fiscal conservatism is the joke of all jokes.  That’s why I think that there’s something else at work here.  I get the feeling that it’s got something to do with Christian cultural conservatives (sometimes called the “religious right”).  She might have a hard-on against them for some reason.

Akin captured his seat in 2000 after a crowded GOP primary that included Jack Jackson and Gene McNary. Akin, of Town and County, replaced Jim Talent in the House seat.

I predicted Akin’s victory.  The reason was that he had a strong base among Christian conservatives, and they showed up in force.  McNary did better than I thought he did, coming within 100 votes.  But the reason why I thought he wouldn’t win is because he was old news.

According to her website, Lauber, 43, worked on Capitol Hill for former Majority Leader Dick Armey and later on the House Homeland Security Committee. She was also a “government and industry relations communications consultant” for Wells Fargo.

Wells Fargo.  I wonder if they’ve got something to do with this.

It won’t matter anyway.  Todd Akin’s got MO-2 for as long as he wants it.

Belleville Bus Beating (Some Dare Call It a Hate Crime)

15 09 2009

Yesterday, it was a hate crimeToday, it wasn’t.  The Belleville P.D. and St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s office sure did a quick cover up investigation.  Actually, they didn’t do any investigation, because they don’t want to do an investigation.  They know what the honest conclusion would be.  Hell, even the Belleville School District is going to call in all the black students on the bus, and the driver, to find the truth.  Yet, the office vested with the criminal and civil power of the state of Illinois in St. Clair County couldn’t be bothered to do that very simple step.  Perry Mason not required, don’t you know.

Everything that needs to be said about the subject has already been said by James Edwards.  Even Rush Limbaugh jumped into the fray today, and through his sarcastic reductio ad absurdum blaming the white teenager for black teenagers beating him up and cheering it on, linking that to the recent Newsweak (deliberate misspelling) article that white babies are bigots starting at six months old (though this does not apply to non-white six-month olds).

I just knew that when Official Belleville called it a hate crime yesterday, that it wouldn’t take long for them to start the blackwashing.  What else would you expect in Obama’s America in Obama’s state, flanked by Dick Durbin, Roland Burris and Rod Blagojevich?

The authorities are wondering why the bus driver didn’t pull over and stop the beating.  Two theories:  (1) S/he is black, and approved of a hate crime on a white teenager, (2) S/he is black, but was rightfully scared to intervene, because it would have been 25 high school students against one adult, (3) S/he is white, and had similar feelings to (2), or (4) S/he is white, and was scared to intervene for racial reasons.

I recorded Rush’s show today on KMOX radio, as KMOX makes it down here to Carbondale fairly well.  Not only did I record Rush, but I also recorded the local show after Rush, to see if/how they would deal with this matter.  They did, but wanted to downplay it as “bullying.”  That’s like calling the Pope a Catholic Priest.

In 1991, CBS’s 60 Minutes did a hit piece on Belleville, which at the time was a nice, livable white Kraut town, and its attempts to prevent East St. Louis’s blacks from moving to Belleville and tearing their way through one more Metro East city.  When CBS said jump, the Bush (41) Administration said “How High?”  So it wasn’t long until the U.S. Just-Us Department opened the floodgates, literally and figuratively, between ESL and Belleville.  This hate crime took place on the school bus full of Belleville West High School students, and such a bus had only one white on it.  That tells me that the west part of Belleville has to be majority black by now.  Eastern Belleville, and Belleville East H.S., is still very white, from what I understand.

There are any number of well-known white people who were actually born and raised in East St. Louis, that do everything they can to cover up where they were from, as it would be too much of an embarrassment.  Jimmy Connors always says he was from Belleville, when the truth of the matter is that he was born and raised in ESL, but later moved to Belleville when the usual suspect that chewed through ESL are now chewing through Belleville.  In fact, the house that Connors lived in, and the tennis court that his parents built for him on their property, are both still in good condition.  I would assume that a black man or woman now owns the house, and is keeping it up because they’re speculating on Jimmy Connors perhaps buying the property in the future for sentimental value.

Senator Dick Durbin and Governor Pat Quinn were also born in East St. Louis.

UPDATE 9/16: Now it’s not even bullying anymore.  The party line of the day is that it was nothing more than a dispute over a seat.  Of course they’re all forgetting that a lot of lawyers know about the “but for” doctrine.  The factor that has by far the best explanation using the “but for” test is race.

The bus driver behaved within policy, and one of my theories turned out to be right — the reason for the non-intervention policy is to prevent a mob attack at the hands of larger high school students against a bus driver, who is likely older and weaker.  However, the subtle obfuscation of race at the hands of the St. Louis MSM (read:  The Post-Dispatch) continues.  Look at the sidebar — It tells you about recent school bus violence, but not black-on-white hate crimes.

UPDATE 9/17: The driver has been bounced out anyway.

In other opines, in spite of the fact that most whites driven out of west Belleville moved to Fairview Heights, O’Fallon or some place like that, I think the reason why east Belleville might be okay for awhile is that its residential profile is almost entirely white and owner-occupied; very few apartments.  This means that East H.S. will also be mostly white for some time to come.

UPDATE 9/17: And here we go again:  Another bus beating in the St. Louis area, this time in the (increasingly black) Hazelwood district, with a white victim.  The school district isn’t releasing the bus video because of “privacy concerns.”  What that means is that a black did it.

UPDATE 9/18: Two of the black teenagers that did the lion’s share of the beating were charged today in juvenile court with various felonies.  Legally, their cases will have to stay in juv, which is probably a good thing, because if it went to adult court, they could get a jury, and in St. Clair County, Illinois, that means at least three blacks.

However, you can probably discern the answer to your most pressing question:

On the issue of a hate crime, [St. Clair County State's Attorney Robert] Haida said: “No evidence is present to suggest that the motive for the conduct was the race of the victim. Illinois law requires such evidence in order to support that charge. Illinois law is clear that the fact that a defendant and a victim are of different races is insufficient without more evidence to support a hate crime.”

Of course “no evidence is present” of hate.  That’s because Official Belleville couldn’t be bothered to spend the five minutes and 12 calories required to gather such evidence.

In other news, Rush Limbaugh and SPLC Pseudo-Intelligence Chief Mark Potok were involved in a contretemps yesterday and today.  In the process, Potok accused Rush (on MSNBC, of course) of actually calling for school bus segregation, when it was sarcastic on Rush’s part.  Rush called Potok “an embarrassment of a human being,” which of course is ten years late and ten billion dollars short.

Mark Potok is what he is. But why did Rush Limbaugh have to carry on in a sarcastic manner about the concept of school bus segregation? I can think of at least two white parents in Belleville that think that it would be a good idea, and I bet that a majority of white people that listen to Rush weren’t exactly laughing along with their host, either.

UPDATE 9/21: One of the suspects has been released to the custody of his father.  He has a 24-hour curfew, and therefore must be at home or in the presence of his father while he isn’t at school.  I wonder if he can still take the bus.

An Assistant State’s Attorney alleges that one of the other assailants (not the one released to his father) flashed gang signs after his part in the beating.  Now isn’t that special, as the Church Lady would say — The State’s Attorneys can spend time and money to figure out that one of the perps flashed a gang sign, but they still aren’t looking for evidence of racial enmity enough to add on hate crimes riders.  The story was in the Post-Dispatch, but had the name of the judge who is involved in the pre-trial motions.  Therefore no link.

UPDATE 9/22: The Belleville School Board permanently expelled the two students that did the most beating.

That begs the obvious question:  They keep telling us that it was nothing more than a dispute over a seat.  Would a school board bounce two students out for good over a seat dispute?  And why did the school board net out the punishment?  Usually, disciplinary decisions are left to principals, although using board-countenanced guidelines.  That (1) The school board would take up the matter, and (2) expel them, is an indication that the board thinks (or knows) that it wasn’t a seat dispute, and that there were aggravating circumstances, such as race hate.

UPDATE 9/24: I have good news and bad news.  The good news is that the parents of the victim have hired a lawyer.  I would have hoped that the reason for the legal help would have been to look into the status of Illinois hate crimes riders on the civil/tort end, so that they can file lawsuits against the perps and accomplish what the Haidaburo can’t be bothered to do, and that is to prove racial enmity.

Alas, no.  The parents hired a lawyer to denounce “racial bigotry” and “white supremacy,” on the occasion of a planned protest by certain provocateurs on the FBIATFADLSPLC payroll.  (Hey, genius, why do you think the St. Louis MSM cover everything those so-called “National Socialists” do and plan to do, when the St. Louis Chapter of the Council of Conservative Citizens got almost jack shit in the way of media coverage during its most active years of public street theater?  You always give the most publicity to the kookiest kooks among your opponents.  If I were rich, I would secretly see to it that radical black and Hispanic hatemongers would be on every powerful radio station in every big city, spewing as much frightening rhetoric as they can, and at the same time secretly founding and funding a right-wing analogue to the SPLC denouncing such black and Hispanic hate.  I do have a Hegelian side, after all!)

I tell you, the young man can’t catch a break.  If it weren’t for bad luck, he’d have no luck at all.  First, a number of blacks on the bus try to beat him senseless because he had the audacity to be white, now his parents have practically painted their faces black and kicked their son in the gut yelling out “die you motherfucking white cracker honkey” in the process.

Don’t Compete Too Hard, Else COMPETES Won’t Allow You to Compete

15 09 2009

Slashdot, today:

“My son brought home an order form from his middle school. Apparently the 7th (his grade) and 8th graders are being asked (required?) to purchase their own straps for the heart monitors they’re to wear during gym class. I know nothing yet of the device in question, but have left a voice-mail with the assistant principal asking him to call me so I may ask some questions about the program and the device. My tinfoil-hat concern is that the heart rate data will be tied to each child, then archived and eventually used for/against them down the road when applying for insurance, high-stress jobs, etc. ‘I see you had arrhythmia during 7th grade pickle ball? No insurance for you’ Has anyone heard of such a program, or had their child(ren) take part in it? Does the device transmit to the laptop the overweight gym teacher will be watching instead of running laps with the kids? Perhaps data is downloaded from the device after the class? Or am I just being paranoid? Thanks for any insight.”

Phyllis Schlafly, six days ago:

Now comes the iron fist in the velvet glove. President Obama’s nearly trillion-dollar Stimulus law designates $128 billion for education, so it’s no surprise that tight strings are attached.

Buried in the fine print is an ominous requirement to build a national electronic database of all children. Any state that receives federal education funds must “establish a longitudinal data system that includes the elements described in . . . the America COMPETES Act.”

That law, passed a couple of years ago, sets out the goal of longitudinal databasing of “student-level enrollment, demographic, and program participation information” for all students from preschool through postsecondary education. This electronic database will contain “yearly test records of individual students,” “a teacher identifier system with the ability to match teachers to students,” “student-level transcript information, including information on courses completed and grades earned,” and “student-level college readiness test scores.”

Database collection on each student continues through college and into the workforce. States are required to enter “information regarding the extent to which students transition successfully from secondary school to postsecondary education.”

Creation of a database of this magnitude is the sort of thing that totalitarian governments do but should not be allowed by those who value freedom. It’s scary to think of Obama’s czars and political operatives such as Rahm Emanuel having access to all that personal information on American citizens.

Put the two together, and I think the Slashdot writer isn’t being so paranoid after all.  I think the intention for the heart monitors is to catch heart problems before they could become so serious that the school district would face a lawsuit; in other words, it’s mainly a CYA.  However, if/when the tracking database that Phyllis Schlafly describes comes into being, the insurance companies will, at some point in the future, (especially if the Republicans get back in power, as Republicans tend to be bigger insurance company whores than the Democrats), bribe a politician to give COMPETES Act data to insurance companies.

Buyback

14 09 2009

Bradenton (Fla.) Herald:

Studies: Buybacks do little to stop violence

MANATEE — Spurred by the death of a Bayshore High cheerleader, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is holding a gun buyback to help deter future violent crimes.

Though the sight of dozens of soon-to-be-destroyed guns might be comforting, multiple studies have shown that buyback programs probably don’t reduce gun violence.

The studies show that the programs make only a small dent in the local gun market. Many of the guns that are turned in don’t work. Often, middle-aged and elderly people are getting rid of their guns for some quick cash.

“It’s highly unlikely that a person who would use guns for violence would turn them in,” said Gary Kleck, a Florida State University criminology professor who studies gun control.

Well, DUH.

At a buyback event in May, the sheriff’s office collected 77 guns. Bristow said most of the guns were turned in by senior citizens. “Who’s to say that someone wouldn’t commit a burglary and steal that gun and then use it in a crime?” he said.

But studies from the University of Pennsylvania, the University of California-Davis and the University of Missouri-St. Louis all show no significant drop in violent crime after gun buybacks.

A 2001 report on youth violence by the U.S. Surgeon General’s office says, “There is some evidence that most of the guns turned in are not functional and that most persons turning in guns have other guns at home.”

The report suggests curbing youth violence with programs that reinforce positive behavior and provide training for parents and teachers.

Kleck said officials continue to hold buybacks because it allows them to look like they are reducing gun-related crime without angering people who support gun rights. “It’s a politically cost-free way of seeming to do something about the violence,” he said.

I couldn’t agree more, at least until that bit about “programs that reinforce…blah blah blah.”  I mean, somebody still has a measure of common sense, even in academia.  And the last two sentences perfectly sum up the reason why they’re still going on, for political show.  If I lived in a jurisdiction where these “gun buybacks” waste of time and money took place frequently, I would be insulted that my city officials think that I’m so stupid that I couldn’t find my ass with both hands on my rear end.  Then again, I did live in such a city, from birth to this past January, save going off to college.  Maybe that’s one of the reason I moved away from that city.

In another medium, I once asked the rhetorical question after one of the St. Louis gun buyback flops, a few years ago.  Someone with the SLPD let go of some snarky comment about how guns are so bad and detrimental in urban areas.  “What is it about cities that make guns behave so badly?” I asked rhetorically, adding “these guns don’t have a problem behaving in many rural areas.”

Of course, the question was rhetorical for a reason, because I already know the reason:  It’s race, not guns.

That leads me to an interesting proposal, a “buyback” that just might work to reduce crime.

Many black intellectuals complain that their people are downtrodden, put-upon victims of slavery and white racism that need reparations.  Money for gun buyback programs sometimes comes from a government in the jurisdiction where they occur, but are mostly funded by grants, either from a foundation or a well-to-do individual.

Let’s put these two pieces together.

Instead of having more discredited gun buybacks, the money used for gun buybacks should be donated to western African countries where the ancestors of today’s African-Americans were kidnapped and plopped on a boat.  Then those countries should use some of that money to buy back their own people, and return them home, and any money that’s left, they can prorate that to all such individuals repatriated.  That will be their reparations, and they’ll doubly benefit by being repatriated to a place free of white racism.

A (censored racial pejorative)-buyback!

Sunday Wrap-Up (Blogmeister vs Terrorists)

13 09 2009

(1)  All you terroristical boogie-woogies over in Crapistan?  You better watch out, because Jim Talent is on the case.

(2)  Boys and girls, this is what they mean by “bassackwards.”

(3)  LOL–OBL has a higher approval rating in moderate Turkey than Nancy Pelosi has in the whole United States.

(4)  The only places where an anti-terrorist training exercise on the part of the USCG would cause apprehension are places that were victims of terrorist attacks eight years ago.  Everybody else realizes that that there’s this thing called preparation.

(5)  Did you know that there will soon be a museum dedicated to garnering sympathy for the 9/11 terrorists?  Not in Palestine, not in Mecca, not in Kandahar, not in Cairo.  It will be inside the WTC replacement.  Way to go, America :(

(6)  Yes, Virginia.  The New York Times has no shame.

(7)  HHS Sec Kathleen Sebelius used the occasion of the 8th anniversary of 9/11 to forward a chain e-mail about how bad the swine flu is.  If you read this medium on a regular basis, then you already know why I think this is so ironic.  If you don’t know, then I have it in the back of my mind that AQ engineered H1N1, deliberately spread it in Mexico, knowing of its effective open border with the United States.

(8)  Speaking of terrorism, the state of Virginia wants to send D.C. Beltway Sniper John Allen Mohammed to his 72 virgins on November 9.  As his partner in crime (and his regular piece of ass) was under 18 at the time of the snipings, Mohammed will probably have to wait many years until Lee Boyd Malvo joins him to get his own 72 virgins.

(9)  The Chinese government is accusing the Obama administration of protectionism.  Wow, they really got us in a sling.  They can pile on charges of first degree loyalty.

(10)  How sick of a man must you be to rape another man, who just so happens to be wheelchair-bound?  Oh yeah…

(11)  And another man-on-man rape, again in the state of Pennsylvania.  Who would do such a thing?  Oh yeah…

(12)  Who would think it’s so controversial that an American school district not allow Mexican children who live in Mexico to enroll in their school district?  I’ll give you a hint — It’s a cable news network that nobody watches anymore.

(13)  The Inland Empire Hispanic gang banger that spread AIDS through sex and tats?  Undocumented.  The AIDS infections that are about to become many people in Apple Valley, California?  Documented.  Any questions?

Eight Years On

11 09 2009

eagle

Here’s the picture the media would rather you not see:

911_jumping_man

That’s one of our people choosing jumping to his death from 100 stories over being crushed to death by megatons of steel.  Yet, we’re supposed to be sensitive towards Islam, and check in our war and occupation strategies with ACLU and CAIR.

Ground still hasn’t broken on the WTC replacement, the Non-Freedom Tower.  There’s still time to go back to the drawing board and redesign the new buildings to my preferred style:

This is President Obama’s first 9/11 memorial as President.  And what was the person of Barack H. Obama doing on and after 9/11?  Telling us (rather, whoever would listen to an obscure State Senator at the time), that we should understand “the sources of” the “madness” that would drive nineteen people to end the lives of 3,000 people whose only crimes were going to work at New York City’s two tallest buildings and the D.C. area’s most prominent, and world’s largest, office building.

Rush Limbaugh tried to equate the Gettysburg Address to “Lets Roll” that landed the fourth hijacked plane in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  (I’m of the opinion that both the Flight 93 heroics and a little bit of help from the U.S. Air Force bought 93 down in Shanksville, and nowhere near Washington, D.C.)  I don’t usually stop listening to Rush out of disgust, but I did today, or at least I stopped and deleted the recording of Rush’s show recorded on my CC Witness while I was off pulling the wagon.  Actually, I can equate Gettysburg with 9/11, but in the other, and ironic direction.  For the Gettysburg Address was essentially a revision and amendment of the U.S. Constitution by Dictator Adolph Lenin, later enforced by the Union victory in the War Between the States, and the forced “ratification” of the 14th Amendment, that turned the raisons d’etre of the Constitution and the United States of America in general as a construct to enforce the concept of racial equality.  What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, and if racial equality was good enough to overthrow and reconstruct an entire region of the United States of America from 1861 to 1876, and then again from 1954 to 1972, and in spates to the present, then it was good enough in 2001 to handcuff intelligence and law enforcement agencies from profiling Muslims, Arab and otherwise, and good enough to allow the nineteen hijackers to board planes on the morning of September 11, 2001, in fear of the U.S. Just-Us Department, kooks like Grover Norquist who dream of Muslims voting Republican, the ACLU, CAIR, ADL, SPLC.  And it continues to this day — We’re not even allowed to have an enemy in the “War on Terror” (take a hint, guys:  Terrorism is a tactic.  You can’t wage a war against a tactic!), must less hate the enemy.  The only way to win a war is to be able to (1) have an enemy, and (2) hate said enemy.  All we get are seditionists like Dick Durbin and Jack Murtha who hate American soldiers more than radical Islamists, George W. Bush and his so-called “Pentagon” who try to prosecute and court-martial Marines that do their jobs a little to well, and the MSM who do nothing but worry about an anti-(fill-in-the-blank-of-a-non-white-racial-group) backlash every time a crime, terrorist attack or act of war waged against whites at the hand of non-whites gets too big to cover up.  Not to mention all this paranoia about “torture.”  Look at the picture above of the man jumping to his death if you’re so concerned about “torturing” a terrorist boogie-w0ogie.

If I were the President, I would be leery of putting boots on the ground anywhere in the Middle East or Central Asia, and would absolutely not do so unless Congress declares war.  With a declaration of war, the Justice Department could legally file charges of treason and sedition against individuals and groups, and I would then have my AG detain and charge the Murthas and Durbins of the world with sedition until the war was over, if they ran their big seditious mouths in that way any time during my Presidency and a declared state of war.  I would let the world know that I would kill every Muslim on Earth to save the life an old white 100-year old American man, because he’s my people, and they’re not my people, simple as that, and that I would go so far as to don a military uniform as President and fire a machine gun into the skull of a newborn Arab baby if that’s what I thought I had to do to save one old white 100-year old American man.  It’s us versus them.  A 100-year old white American man is worth more to me than every Arab/Muslim on Earth, if I were the President of the United States.  (Hell, that’s true for me even if I’m not the President.)  But I would let the Muslim world know that the way to avoid such a horrible fate would be not to fuck with me, simple as that.  I would be as crazy and demented as I would have to be to keep my people safe, and not one iota more.  Under less hostile circumstances, and in the absence of any future 9/11s, the goal isn’t genocide, it isn’t mass murder.  All it is is to wimpify the Muslim world, to do to their virulent men what Napoleon did to the French fighting spirit after nutbar left the manliest of the French men and their DNA to freeze to death on the Russian steppes.  In other words, we need to make the Muslim world so averse to war and such girly men metrosexuals that they’d be like Gavin Newsom and the French.  That would be how we keep the Muslim world in permanent check.  And I don’t give a flying fuck that the Muslim world would hate us.  Hate is a personal emotion, and cannot be changed with all the guns and bombs on Earth.  The key is that they fear us more than they hate us.  As Caligula once said, Oderint dum Metuant.  (I know I’m going to get a snarky e-mail accusing me of being just as crazy as a Roman imperator that appointed a horse to the Roman Senate.  Except all those tall tales about that and Caligula’s other “eccentricities,” were very likely falsehoods dreamed up and spread by his political adversaries.  And don’t come back to me with “death panel;” you know how that goes, Pontius Pilate and Herod was the world’s original death panel.)  Once the fear in the Arab and Muslim world is so impalpable that one could taste it, then it’s mission accomplished.  The Jews in Israel, at least the sensible ones that voted for Golde Meir, have a saying:  If your enemy is going to plant a bomb under your mother’s house, you should plant a bomb under his mother’s house first.  It’s brutal, and cruel.  But it’s war, and you either do it right, or you don’t do it at all.

Either way, I wouldn’t occupy an Arab or Muslim country even if I had all the power.  Arab governments are easy to topple, but Arab and Muslim peoples can’t be garrisoned.  Afghanistan has been the partial death knell of the British Empire (don’t forge they occupied what is now Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Kuwait until about WWII).  The flop that was the invasion of Afghanistan led to the fall of the Russian Empire, a.k.a. Soviet Union, though in this case our helping out the mujahaddin to resist the Soviets came back to bite us in the ass eight years ago today.  (Except Massoud’s group, who was pro-American throughout the whole of his adult military life right until he was murdered two days before 9/11.  Hello, Sherlock, shouldn’t that have been a CLUE???)  If we knew in 1979 what we knew in 2001, we should done just the opposite, help the Soviets overrun Afghanistan.  This is why I have come to the conclusion that I’d never side with a non-white power, country, potentate or principality over a white one no matter how abhorrent I found the ideology of the other white one.  If we don’t straighten up, the American Empire will fall, too, though that might not be the worst of things.

I should add that the Murthas, Durbins and Keith Olbermanns of the world aren’t the only one acting seditious.  There is a lot of this same mentality in my neck of the political woods, namely among paleo-conservatives, neutralitarians/isolationists and assorted others.  My response to them is that politics end when the shooting starts.  I wasn’t for Iraq before Iraq started, but I’m sure as hell not going to call my own people torturers and murderers after it started.  The sad truth of the matter is that for a lot of right-wingers who think like this, (but not a majority), it’s all a convenient cloak for anti-Semitism.  However, most aren’t anti-Semitic; they just let their ideology get in the way of their racial loyalty, if they have any racial loyalty at all.  You can probably guess that I don’t believe that our support of the existence of Israel caused 9/11, because it didn’t.  Theoretically, a 9/11 might have happened sooner because of it, but it would have happened eventually, because radical Islam is a fanatical ideology that ordains the brutal occupation of infidels, whether such “infidels” are in Tel Aviv or Des Moines.  I wish the world and the realm of foreign affairs in the Middle East and Southern Asia was as simple as Ron Paul et al. think it is, but it’s just not.  For Obama’s Sake, Israel is only 8 miles wide at one point!!!  Do you honestly think that giving up 8 miles means that the Johnny Jihads don’t make another run at Spain or other parts of Western Europe?  Two words:  Get Real.  Hell, if all the Mexicans wanted was an 8-mile strip of southern Arizona, then the Aztlan/Reconquista kooks would shut up, I’d give it to them.  We need another Charles Martel and John Sobieski, otherwise Western Civilization is done, and we’re all going to be made the stick our asses up in the air towards Mecca at Al Qaeda gunpoint.  George W. Bush certainly was no Charles Martel, and Barack Obama is at best naive and at worst secretly working for the other side.

If my people didn’t have the stomach for war and its brutality, after my being totally honest with them, then I would accept the Ron Paul middle way compromise, issuing a Letter of Marquee and Reprisal (Ron Paul proposed LRM after 9/11 and earlier this year as a solution to Somalian piracy.)  What a LMR would mean is that we pay Halliburton or Blackwater a billion bucks to bring us Osama bin Laden’s ass on a platter, instead of paying them a trillion bucks for overpriced K-rations in Iraq.  Sounds like a bargain to me.

If you search the words “Shanksville, PA” on Google, the first link is to a memorial on the Pennsylvania Highways website, run by a once upon a time chatroom buddy of mine, one Jeff Kitsko.  Good job, Jeff.  Unfortunately for him, Jack Murtha is his Congressman, unless he has moved in the last few years.

I’ve stated my viewpoints on 9/11 many times before on this medium, but if you’re new, you can start here and here, and of my 9/11 skepticism here.

MSU Prof Admits

10 09 2009

Hidden on the second page of this Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader story about Springfield LEAs circling the wagons around their precious gang of MIAC liars, is this gem:

The report was also decried as poorly written. The author, who was never publicly identified , misspelled President Barack Obama’s first name and appears to have lifted entire sentences from a 2005 Southern Poverty Law Center report titled, “Terror From the Right.”

Darin Chappell, a political science instructor at Missouri State University, said the report lacked original research.

Admitting that the “You Lie!” MIAC report from earlier this year was nothing more than a cut-and-paste from the SPLC.

Then again, you knew that already, because you’re smart enough to read this blog on a daily basis.

MIAC.  FAIL.

Missouri Lieutenant Governor’s Office In Chaotic Turmoil As Rams Release Peter Kinder’s Favorite Asthma Sufferer

10 09 2009

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (FNN) –  Peter Kinder, the Lieutenant Governor of Missouri, is throwing apoplectic fits after the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League released linebacker Chris Draft, whom Kinder has cut numerous radio and TV public service spots, extolling the virtues of treating one’s asthma to sufferers of the condition.

“All Mr. Kinder did in his office today was prance around in circles and say, ‘what am I gonna do, what am I gonna do, what the fuck am I gonna do,’” Frances Smith, Kinder’s Chief of Staff, told Fake News Network earlier today.

Zeke Mulligan, the chief political reporter for the Jefferson City News-Tribune, told FNN that the reason for Kinder’s consternation is that “he has built his political career by putting his neck on the line for that oh-so-controversial stand of opposing asthma.  That he no longer has a famous black athlete who suffers from the condition that would serve as his pet, he thinks his political future is in jeopardy, in spite of being one Jay Nixon heartbeat way from being Governor.”

Draft, 33, is a ten-year NFL veteran, whose stops include Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Carolina and finally St. Louis.  Chris Landry, a Fox Sports Radio NFL analyst who is privy to every bit of league gossip such that thousands of fantasy league players hang on his every word, told FNN that the chances of Draft being signed by another team are slim, considering his advanced age and that no other state in this union has a Lieutenant Governor that opposes asthma.  According to the current NFL college bargaining agreement, if Draft is forced into retirement, he is guaranteed to remain on the NFL’s health insurance plan until ObamaCare’s public option allows teams to dump all their retirees’ health care so they can make room under the salary cap.

Kinder, 55, has been Missouri’s Lieutenant Governor since 2005, though his margins of victory in 2004 and again last year were by the hairs on his chinney chin chin.  Before that, he was the Majority Leader of Missouri’s State Senate.

Hate Crimes Are Not a Rare Occurrence In Cape

10 09 2009

Southeast Missourian:

Cape man gets three years in prison for breaking windows at Islamic Center

A man convicted of hate crime charges for vandalizing the Islamic Center in Cape Girardeau in June was sentenced to three years in prison Tuesday.

Nicholas T. Proffit, 32, of Cape Girardeau pleaded guilty in court before New Madrid County Circuit Judge [*****]. The case was transferred to New Madrid County on a change of venue.

Proffit was sentenced to three years each on two counts of property damage motivated by discrimination, which is a felony, and six months on one count of driving while intoxicated. The sentences will run concurrently.

According to Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney Morley Swingle, hate crimes are a rare occurrence in Cape Girardeau, with fewer than one a year.

Oh really?  Remember “Noobs?“  Then again, hate crimes riders in that case were pled away.  Reverse the races, and you can see above how hard the Cape County Circuit Attorney’s office works to see it through.

BTW, how did Cape wind up with an Islamic Ceter?  My only guess is the University, the Harvard of Southeast Missouri, and there are enough foreign students from Islamic countries to create the need for an Islamic Center in Cape.

WSIL:

Cigarette Tax Increase

WSIL-TV- Governor Pat Quinn is looking for a way to provide more funding for Illinois college students. 200 million dollars was recently cut from the MAP grant program that funds college educations for hundreds of thousands of students.

One plan to raise that money is to make smokers pay for it.The Governor proposes doubling the tax on a pack of cigarettes.

Here’s what that means in dollars and cents. Right now a pack of Marlboros at the One Stop Shop sells for $5.15. If Quinn’s proposal goes through the cigarette tax will double from $1.00 to $2.00 a pack raising the price to $6.15.

Economists tend to think that the demand for cigarettes is relatively inelastic over a relevant range.  Translated into English, that means that smokers are so addicted to nicotine that they’ll pay just about anything for a pack of cigs, so governments have free reign to raise cig taxes all they want; they’re sure to get the money.

But I’m not so sure that we’re far away from the relevant range.  In this recession, with Southern Illinois suffering the worst, $6 for a pack of cigs might well be too much.  If I’m right, then you can kiss MAP and S-CHIP goodbye.

Welcome to the New South Africa

10 09 2009

A carrier pigeon can transfer data faster than ZA’s Third World Telecom’s “broadband” lines can do the job.  The reason this is relevant is that ZA is set to host the World Cup of Soccer next year, the world’s most watched sporting event, and need to get the intra- and inter-country broadband speed up for the media.

No wonder ZA’s black terrorist government is so opposed to letting white people flee — they need someone to stick around who knows how to make things work.  As long as they’re not target practice.  Now all I’m waiting for is for one of ZA’s many witch doctor snake oil salesmen voodoo magic freaks to say that the way to raise the broadband speed is to rape a virgin.

State of the Health Care Union

9 09 2009

(1)  Maybe it was just the lighting, but does it seem that both the President and the First Lady are trying to lighten the skin tone of their faces?

(2)  This was not a very good speech.  President Obama sounded nervous and apprehensive.

(3)  The most contentious part of the address to Congress is when the President tried to deny that illegal aliens would get in to any HCR.  There were a few jeers from the Republican side of the aisle, and someone was trying to yell something out; I couldn’t make out what was being said.  UPDATE:  It was Rep. Joe Wilson (R-NC), yelling “You Lie!

But it gives me an opportunity to rebut the President’s rebuttal on the illegal alien flap.

The reason why President Obama and Congressional Democrats can say with a straight face that illegal aliens won’t benefit from HCR is that several of the five HCR proposals circulating around the U.S. House do have language explicity locking illegals out.

However, it’s a half truth, for five reasons:  (A) There is no way that House and Senate Democrats will let a bill get to the Oval Office that has that language in it, not with the Democrat party endebtted to La Raza.  (B) Even if that language is in a bill that the President signs, there certainly won’t be any enforcement mechanism in the bill.  (C) Even if there was an enforcement mechanism, it is easy for illegal aliens to get fake IDs and fake SSNs.  They do already for employment and welfare, so it stands to reason that they would use fake IDs to get ObamaCare.  (D) Even if they couldn’t get fake IDs, there is the matter of pure common sense.  ObamaCare would be run and administered by Federal bureaucrats, and many of those, especially those who run a new Federal entitlement program, are either white liberals or racial minorities.  In illegal alien-heavy states, many of these Federal bureaucrats are Hispanic.  Do you honestly think that they’ll tell illegal aliens “no mas” when they come to the Federal building to sign up for ObamaCare?  It would be the job of the U.S. Justice Department and the relevant U.S. Attorney’s office to prosecute such Federal bureaucrats, and certainly the current Eric Holder-run Just-Us Department won’t file charges.  Even the U.S. Just-Us Department of a future Republican Presidential Administration won’t have the balls to do this, either, as the Stupid Party is still pretending they can get the Hispanic vote.  (E) After HCR, the next item in the hopper is “comprehensive immigration reform.”  Notwithstanding A, B, C and D, it won’t matter that illegal aliens won’t be allowed ObamaCare because there won’t be any illegal aliens anymore.

Two words:  Get Real.

(4)  Amazing:  Ted Kennedy mailed a letter to the President from the Great Beyond.

UPDATE 9/10: “Sharon,” location unidentified, dropped this into my e-mail box:

I watched the whole thing, too, and with both Obama’s speech and Rep. Boustany’s response, I felt like I was being asked to call a 1-800 number and order something such that I would get five extra ShamWow cloths if I would call within the next ten minutes.

LOL!

Get Ready for Opposition

8 09 2009

St. Joseph (Mo.) News:

‘David’s Law’ to honor victims

The statewide drunken-driving crackdown campaign may have concluded on Monday, but new pieces of legislation in Missouri continue to try and keep intoxicated drivers at bay.

(snip)

Coordinating with the statewide crackdown on drunken driving in August and September, MoDOT introduced “David’s Law,” a piece of legislation that will allow families and friends of people killed in drunken-driving accidents to memorialize them with a sign that will be placed near the crash site.

The blue signs, named after drunken-driving accident victim David Poenicke, state “Drunk Driving Victim!” with the person’s initials and, at the bottom, “Think About It!”

Bud Balky, Missouri director of court monitoring for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, said it’s an effective piece of legislation the group is supporting fully.

Just wait until La Raza, LULAC, MECHA and MALDEF crank up the opposition, for those most taboo of reasons.  We’ll see how long MADD maintains its support.  After all, race uber alles.

Ronald McDonald Signs Endorsement Deal With Arby’s

8 09 2009

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (FNN) — Ronald McDonald, former celebrity endorser of McDonald’s fast food restaurant chain, signed a deal today with Arby’s, a well known McDonald’s competitor whose specialty is roast beef sandwiches.  The deal, which was consummated and signed at Arby’s suburban Atlanta headquarters, is worth $22.5 million a year for the next ten years.

“This is a coup of major proportions, and is a watershed event in the fast feeder industry,” said Thomas A. Garrett, CEO of Arby’s.  “This is validation of our business model, to have someone from a chain that sells artery-clogging crap to come on over to the healthy side of the tracks.”

“McDonald’s was very good to me, and I had the good fortune of endorsing a chain that just so happened to have my own last name,” McDonald said.  “The 46 years we spent together are irreplaceable.  However, I knew it was time to move on to a different and more exciting part of my life.”

Although it was not discussed at the press conference held at Arby’s corporate headquarters, industry insiders speculate that McDonald is trying to build a personal nest egg that will sustain his three daughters, Cynthia 15, Renee, 13 and Dakota, 9 through their upcoming college years.  “Though McDonald’s was paying McDonald well, it was not enough to sustain a lifestyle that included three rotten spoiled clown daughters,” Mort Grimm wrote in the latest issue of Burger World magazine.

As for McDonald’s part, the Oak Brook, Ill. fast food giant’s press release after the defection of Ronald McDonald to Arby’s stated that while they were sad by the departure, that Grimace, Hamburgler and the Fry Kids were still signed to long term deals, and therefore could not join McDonald at Arby’s without serious legal action.  Among the front runners to replace McDonald are golfer Phil Mickelson, Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, NASCAR and stock car racing legend Dick Trickle, and the red fox from the Mozilla Firefox logo.
