“Police Brutality” in St. Louis City.

Why hasn’t the SHTF?  Why no NAACP protests?  Why no bitching from the civil rights industry?

See the video for yourself to find out why.

I know for a fact that that Shell station is a SLPD substation.  Somehow, I get the feeling that we don’t have the whole story yet.  If I had to guess, the man must have said something very off-color to the cop that struck a nerve with him, and the cop unprofessionally wielded his baton.  If my theory is right, I can think of at least one person who will mind his Ps and Qs around men with badges and guns from now on.

*  Re the infamous USS Enterprise videos which have led to a dishonorable end to Capt. Honors’s military career — They were made four years ago.  So why are they just now coming out?

I don’t think their coming to light very soon after the repeal of DADT is just a coincidence of timing.  I also suspect the Southern Poverty Law Center somehow plays a role in this — With “homophobia” being their new enemy, I get the feeling that they’re about to make a windfall off this, some way, some how.

PJB eulogizes the life of Roger Milliken a few days after his passing.  But I find it ironic that while Milliken made a name as a business tycoon opposed to free trade, he contradictorily feted the desegregation of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

*  It might soon be legal in Massachusetts for people to establish trust funds in their wills for their family pets.

At the same time, governments all over Europe, and eventually here as well, are mulling seizing private pension funds to cover massive budget deficits.  (Of course, it’ll only amount to a drop in the bucket.)

Any of you people who actually do set up a trust fund for Fido actually think that it’ll be safe from government seizure a decade or two down the road?

Why are white women the fastest growing group of British Muslims?

Answer:  Because Muslim men, while they sometimes act way too manly, are at least acting like real men, unlike the wussy pussy gelding metrosexuals that are most modern day native born white Briton men.

Monday’s Musings

3 01 2011

*  How Yahoo Sports described the final play of the final game of Brett Favre’s playing career:  Joe Webb passed to Percy Harvin to the left for 2 yard gain. lateral to Bernard Berrian for 10 yards. lateral to Greg Lewis. lateral to Visanthe Shiancoe. lateral to Greg Lewis. lateral to Percy Harvin. lateral to Joe Webb. lateral to Visanthe Shiancoe. lateral to Joe Webb for 7 yards

Yep, that reads like desperation to me.

Wet Wipes and Body Spray Do Not a Shower Make.  Some of these are team athletes, and I’m sure some of them are thinking about playing college or pro ball.  There, wet wipes and body spray won’t cut the mustard.

This article states that so many high school students are opting out of showering because of privacy concerns, and then it makes the segue into the row over the TSA fluoroscopy scanners.  Apples and oranges, IMHO — I know with pretty good confidence that when I’m using a communal shower, nobody is snapping pics of me.  The images from the scanners, the TSA can keep forever.

A while ago in this medium, I mistakenly said that the Boys Club baseball team was my first experience with communal showering.  Actually, my first was a year before, when I was nine years old, the first time I used a municipal public pool.  My point is here is that by the time showering after gym became an option for me, eighth grade, I had no problem with it because I was used to it, and actually wanted to do it.  My junior high school actually didn’t allow students in the seventh grade and younger to use the showers, even though some of us boys really wanted to — All depended on the varying onset of puberty.  But by the time we hit eighth, almost all of us boys willingly used them, even though they weren’t “required,” but heavily recommended.

I do agree that the tradition of a teacher or staff member serving as the shower police was a sick sadistic tradition that is thankfully long gone.  One that I never experienced, even at the sorts of young ages and in situations when one would think an adult would want to confirm my cleanliness.

There are some states that actually require “nude soap showers” (with that exact wording) before using a public pool.

*  The original architects of Cloward-Piven, (you’ll never guess their names), want to revise their strategy.  They want a mass rebellion of what is thought to be the new class of the structurally unemployed, in order to create the perception of a demand for an even bigger government than we have now.

Problem is, Cloward-Piven II is a victim of the minor successes of Cloward-Piven I.  The two main reasons that CP2 will never come to be has to do with Cloward’s and Piven’s precious Barack H. Obama II — Unemployment benefits are being extended so frequently that there is hardly any social unrest resulting in high structural unemployment,  and the Obama-obsessed media are portraying a permanent 10% and probably real 17-18% unemployment rate as the “new normal,” mainly as a wagon-circling sociopolitical construct to keep the forever unemployed from being mad at Obama.

New York University has beaten Columbia University for the coveted Golden Bong Pipe of Manhattan.  The ceremony will be on April 20 starting at 4:20 PM.

*  Chris Christie’s New Jersey:  The taking of private property for public purpose without just compensation.

SC’s Republican state legislators are jonesing for an SB 1070 for The Palmetto this year.

What’s even better is that when Gov. Nimrata Randhawa vetoes it, it’ll both shut the race pandering neo-cons and certain Tea Party leaders up about how wonderful she is, and also end any national ambitions she has.

*  There is new news about the Kinston, North Carolina city elections controversy.  I can’t link to it because it contains the name of a sitting Federal judge, but I will give you the relevant take-away.

In case you don’t know, Kinston’s voters voted to do away with party labels in municipal elections, but the Obama/Holder DOJ and its civil wrongs division swooped in and bitched, claiming that black political power in Kinston would be marginally hurt — The exact quote being, “removing the partisan cue in municipal elections will, in all likelihood, eliminate the single factor that allows black candidates to be elected to office.”  In other words, what we THOUGHT they were saying is that black voters could never elect blacks to public office if the word “Democrat” wasn’t on the ballot.

The update is that, as it turns out, it’s not blacks that Holder is so worried about, it’s whites, especially white Democrats.  They fear that a percentage of white Democrats, yellow dogs who would vote for anything with the “Democrat” label next to it, might not actually vote for a person named “Rastus Williams,” if s/he only had names available on the ballot.

That dog doesn’t hunt for me.  Holder’s argument is based on the obsolete notion of the “yellow dog Democrat” good ole boys way down in Dixie.  I doubt Kinston is like Raleigh-Durham, a growing Southern metro area with a growing number of doctrinaire white liberal voters, and if I’m right, Kinston is the kind of town like so many others in the South, where “white Democrat” is now an oxymoron.

Another reason why the argument is bogus is that somehow, even with AG Holder basing his argument on that obsolete reality, his boss was able to beat HRC in the primaries then McCain in the general.  Enough white people in enough states didn’t seem to have a problem with the name “Barack Obama.”  Hell, he even carried North Carolina!

Thank Goodness for the New York Times

3 01 2011

No, I haven’t gone all dippy farm on you.

I’m thinking about this Twitter and/or Facebook organized violent Flash mob at a Milwaukee mall.

Of course, they censor racial information.  But I called up the mall’s location on Google maps, then hit up the NYT’s Census Explorer to scan for black census tracts around that mall.  And, harrumph harrumph — Milwaukee’s ghettos are a short distance due east of the mall along a major arterial boulevard; I’m guessing there’s a public bus route between the two.  There are majority black tracts directly north, and the adjoining single tract south of the tract which contains this mall is majority black.

Then again, this shit isn’t long for this world, at least in the context of Wisconsin.  Scott Walker became Governor today.  Can you say carry bill?  This mall in question is a GGP property, and none of the GGP malls in St. Louis disallow heat-packing.  Now, let’s hope that this mall stays off DeadMalls.com long enough for CCW to do it any good.

UPDATE 1/4: This Milwaukee mall already had a “PGR” policy.  Look at what good it did.

Slaphappy Poverty Law Center

SPLC hatin’ on Pamela Geller because some unnamed “neo-Nazis” run with her material. Ironic, in the SPLC’s worldview, because Geller is Jewish.

Remember, after 9/11, the SPLC (and to a smaller extent, the ADL), said that “neo-Nazis” were happy that 9/11 happened, and were cheering the AQ types who pulled it off, and were playing up the anti-Semitism they have in common.  The obvious implication of that rhetoric was that we were supposed to believe that “neo-Nazis” would soon, or already were, active participants in AQ-type terrorist orgs, or were engaging in terrorist conspiracies parallel with but independent of the AQ types but under the same ideological umbrella.  When the only real world example of “neo-Nazi” sympathy with AQ and 9/11 the SPLC/ADL could find was some dickhead in Jerkwad, Pennsylvania, (said dickhead was nowhere near involved in any terrorist plots, and to be honest, couldn’t terrorist conspiracy a wet mop to save his life), they dropped that party line and instead adopted the one they still hold to this day, and the fact that the SPLC raps Geller’s hands is proof that they are still — That party line is that “neo-Nazis” are exploiting 9/11 in a fit of xenophobia, immigration restrictionism and Islamophobia.

So, to take their party lines in combination, you have to believe both that neo-Nazis are in cahoots with Muslim terrorists because of their common hatred of Jews, and that neo-Nazis are in cahoots with Jewish lamestream conservative critics of Islam because of their common Islamo/xeno phobia, at the same time.

Bob McCulloch, Have You No Shame?

2 01 2011

The St. Louis Metro Area’s finest think that the man above was the one who shot the (white) Maryland Heights P.D. Detective from the back while he was casing out a part of Jennings the middle of the night a week before Kwanzaa Eve.

St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch is tooting his horn over the arrest.

Somewhere deep inside, I’m sure his analogue in the City, Jennifer Joyce, is also breathing a sigh of relief, as this worthy was a city resident and arrested there.  If he hasn’t already, I’m sure he would have been a case on one of the desks in her office at some point in the near future.

I guess neither one of them recognize the irony of it all.  Two words:  Truth Squad.

A story which your blogmeister broke on the internet on another medium, and a one which Glenn Reynolds (The Instapundit) still references from time to time.

UPDATE 1/3: The above’s brother is now in custody.  We find out in the same article that this seems to have been a deliberate ambush on a known law enforcement officer.  Which throws even more egg in McCulloch’s face.

Goodbye Ramuhanukwanzmas Wrap-Up

2 01 2011

*  Yours truly is evidently not alone in seeing through the Delilah scam.  Someone on a Nissan owner forum blockquoted me, and this set up a chorus of “Amens.”

P-D complains that around 40% of public high school graduates in the class before last needed to take remedial courses as college freshmen.

Pray tell, why were they even admitted to college?  More, why were they even allowed to graduate from high school?

If you can’t figure that out by now, as long as you’ve been reading this space, then I’ve got a remedial bridge over the Bay of Remediation that I want to sell you.

Ironically, the only photos that the P-D shows us are those from the Missouri public high school whose graduates are least likely to need remedial courses at the next level.

*  Can I call bullshit or what?

When the Bush administration peddled “unmanned aerial drones” over the U.S.-Mexico “Border” as a tool to fight illegal immigration, I sarcastically said in this space at the time that we would be shocked by what they would reveal, that Mexicans and OTMs were sneaking across the border.  I then said seriously that I thought the whole thing was a military-industrial complex hustle, and it turned out to be just that.

I had Christiane Amanpour on this morning, (I know, I’m the one.  I’ve seen her ratings — I comprise about half of them), even though it was Jake Tapper (?) filling in.  He had George Clooney on, who is spending close to a megabuck to requisition satellite bandwidth to monitor the possible vote on secession in southern Sudan this year, and any reprisals of violence form the north both during the vote and after a possible vote for secession.

I have an audacious prediction — There will be violence.  Also, the sun will rise in the East tomorrow.  And I don’t need to see hi-res satellite photos to make these predictions.

To his credit, Tapper pressed Clooney on the futility of his efforts, by asking him in essence, “So what?”  I mean, the sat photos will show us what we already know is going to happen, yet nobody is going to do anything about it.  Tapper’s language there was loaded with the assumption that the world should do something about it, but my opinion is just the opposite — Intervening in that conflict is hopping right into the tar baby.  Cue the Bismarck quote about the Balkans.

And the sad postscript to this matter is that the real driving force behind “humanitarian concern” over Sudan isn’t coming from Hollyweird libs like Clooney, or the left side of the American body politic at all.  The driving force is the American Christian conservative movement (“religious right”), because many southern Sudanese are nominally Christian, (though only for the sake of the rice bowl, IMHO), while their northern oppressors are Muslim.  Really, though, most southerners are animists, adherents to traditional black African forms of faith traditions.  Either way, none of our business.

*  This story about newly-elected Governors not living in their states’ Governors Mansions, (in case the given state has one, which not all do), has a slideshow of various Governors Mansions of note.

I thought Kansas’s Cedar Crest was a permanent Halloween decoration (zip code 66606 to drive the point home), but New York’s takes that designation to a whole new level.  And New Jersey’s is called “Drumthwacket” — With a name like that, I’m surprised every pervert of any age and every horn dog teenage boy or young adult man isn’t wanting to take a job inside that place.

It may be native and soon to be once-again home state bias, but I’m fond of Missouri’s Governor’s Mansion, a relatively modest four-story Franco-Germanic salt brick flat on the bluffs of the Missouri River.

*  I’m not at all surprised that the PervPad was born in my old stomping grounds.  What is surprising that it was in a semi-respectable town like Marion, and not the benighted armpit of the region, Murphysboro.

*  This can only mean one thing — Schools are getting better at teaching statistics and probability, and this is keeping people away from the riverboat casinos, thereby reducing revenues to schools.  Irony on circular parade.

Jim Hoft is clearly paying attention.  By charitably calling these arrested teenagers “men” and “women,” he indicates that he knows that there is no such thing as a black “boy,” and is wisely avoiding a firestorm of criticism.

Sorry, I’m not buying it.  You think Robert Mugabe would have been any less repressive toward the opposition but for the news of the leaked cable relating to Morgan Tsvangirai?  A despotic thug is a despotic thug — Mugabe would have found any excuse, and indeed found dozens of reasons before the “WikiLeak” to bitch-slap Tsvangirai around.  On top of that, I personally don’t invest any hope in Tsvangirai — I don’t think he’ll be any better than Mugabe when it comes to anti-white racial cleansing.

So here is another WikiLeaks story that turns out to be a total snooze.

*  SMH rightly cites Australia’s “close…ties to Asia” as the reason why Australia had the highest rate of residential real estate appreciation in 2010 in the first world.  But it’s not “trade” that’s causing it, it’s that rich Asians are bidding limited quantities of real estate, especially in Sydney and Melbourne, sky high.  And with the country’s mostly dry and desert climate, there really isn’t much more space to build out.

*  How much you wanna bet this “former Shell exec” still owns stock in Shell?

I think we’re being played like a fiddle with his five clam a gallon “prediction.”  Sure, it’s going to rise, but this country is dead when it hits five.  And, since people generally don’t shit where they eat, and the American oil buying public is still the lion’s share of the profitability of the oil business, that’s the reason why it never can or will go that high, failing a major supply problem.  What I think is going on is that he’s floating five as a bait-and-switch so that when it does hit three-fifty and four in the next two years and stays there, people won’t be so “shocked” because they were “expecting” or “prepared for” five.  And no shock means no anger at either Big Oil or Big Obama.

Speaking of this country dying…

Someone found Ezra Klein’s CV.  At least there’s no plagiarism.

*  I’m hearing too many people blame the club owner for the fights and shootings outside his nightclub on Kwanzaa Eve night that has now resulted in two kills.  And I cringe when this club (which is now closed due to unprofitability) and his previous ventures in that stead are called “problem properties.”  I mean, is it supposed to be a building’s fault or an establishment’s fault that young black men and women can’t behave themselves, and just can’t self-disperse from a nightclub from which they were turned away?  Read to the bottom, and you’ll find that the whole thing started with a false Facebook rumor — Remember that when you hear mentally insane politician whine about the “digital divide” and giving “minorities” more internet access.

*  You have to let the flouroscopy scanners see all your junk, or let a TSA affirmative action flunkie feel your junk, but if you take off almost all of your clothes, then that’s a big damned problem.  You’re in even more hot water if you write part of the document the TSA flunkies swear an oath to defend across your chest in crayon.

Then again, the only criminal charge here is “disorderly conduct,” and I would have thought by now that the judiciary would have knocked off every DC law in the country for substantive due process.

*  Oh and by the way, there were also anti-white hate crimes.  Us honkeys did get an honorary sentence in the NYP.

They tell us about victims, but nothing about perpetrators.  With anti-Jewish and anti-gay hate crimes up in 2009 over 2008, I suspect Muslims are the perps.

*  I don’t think this is what Merle Haggard was thinking about when he sang about “Okies from Muskogee.”

Better late, in fact way late, than never, I suppose.  Then again, I don’t have to drop the phrase “War on Terror” from my lexicon, because I never adopted it.  That’s because terrorism is a tactic of warfare, and it’s logically absurd to wage a war against a tactic of war.  The whole bullshit weasel phrase “War on Terror” was a construct of chicken shit pansy ass neo-cons and lamestream conservatives in the Bush White House who didn’t want us to think that we actually had an enemy we could be “racist” and “prejudiced” against and “bigoted” toward, i.e. attempt to defeat.

Vacationers at a British resort started a riot.

Why?  Because the attendants wanted them to take a breathalyzer to ensure they weren’t drinking alcohol, which is evidently the only luxury prohibited at this resort.

*  Little Mosque on the Prairie.  CBC (Canada) really does have such a show.  Katie Couric, look it up.

Seriously, this little brain-fart on the part of this the future co-host of the CBS national morning show is all based on the delusional fantasyland bullshit that the Cosby Show somehow made white people think that blacks aren’t all gang bangers and thugs.  Maybe Cosby did lead to some slight delusions in that direction for a microsecond, but they were quickly undone by the first ten minutes of the local eyeball newscasts, and then by watching new joints on BET.  To the wee small extent Cosby disillusioned us bigoted honkeys of our “prejudices,” dozens of real world thugs and rappers quickly reillusioned us.
