I Reserve the Right to Change My Mind at Any Time

4 04 2011

Admittedly, he’s a publicity hound.  At first, I didn’t want Pastor Terry Jones to burn the Koran, mainly because I worried about our Marines in Afghanistan.

But Gen. David Petraeus and Sen. Lindsey Grahamnesty have made me change my mind.  Are we to restrict our own civil liberties because of the ignorant sensitivities of some seventh century throwbacks who live in the least desirable political unit in its part of the world?  Petraeus is sickening here because he sides with non-white Muslim ignorant fanatics over someone who shares his own race, religion (presumably) and citizenship status.  Grahamnesty’s words should finally make it clear why wars over there and civil liberties over here are inexorably intertwined, and if we have to be “over there,” we should be over there only for the best of reasons and for the minimum amount of time possible.

This reminds me of the last major issue with which I had a disagreement with PJB, that being the Mohammed Cartoons controversy.  Until now, I actually contradicted myself on being against Pastor Jones and yet for the Danish cartoonists.

Fun With Sunday Headlines

3 04 2011

You’ll have to read this one yourself.

Chicago Tribune:  Farrakhan defends Libya’s Gadhafi as ‘brother’

And Obama wants Gadhafi gone.  So for Farrakhan, it’s bros before Os.

Hot Air:  Bad news: Rand Paul outsmarts, embarrasses slow-witted Democrat

The bad news is that they don’t tell you which slow-witted Democrat it was in the headline.

Yahoo:  Why North Dakota May Be the Best State in the Country to Live In

Oil and white people.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution:  Oregon cops hope classical music deters loiterers

I know what they want to do.  Believe me, country music will work better.

CNS:  [Martin] Sheen To Brief Congress on Drug Courts

Yeah and I’m sure Gabriel Capone once led a campaign against organized crime.

CNS:  Las Vegas Embraces Mob Roots With New Attractions

Lemme guess — A theater showing Sinatra movies 24/7.

CNS:  HUD Secretary: No Other President in History ‘Better Understands’ Need for Public Housing Than Obama

Yeah, because we’re paying for him, his wife, his daughters and his mother-in-law to live in some nice public housing right now!  (Hopefully the lease expires January 20 after next)

Daily Mail:  Teacher suspended over Facebook post calling her six-year-old students ‘future criminals’

The school is half black and half Hispanic.  She’s not far off from the truth.  The school does have a vibrant chapter of the FFA (Future Felons of America).

Sunday Wrap-Up

3 04 2011

*  BNP members eat, breathe and drink water.  So let’s ban food, oxygen and water for everyone just so we can kill all those BNP members.  Ironically, those that want to keep FPTP seem to be “guilty” of the same kind of “racism” as the BNP.

If they want to make life safer for EDL protesters, the who am I to say no?

*  The “R” Word — The last refuge of a scoundrel.

Amnesty through non-enforcement.  Read the second-to-last line and weep.

I believe the accusations.  From credible things I’ve read, Bill Gates IS that ruthless, IS is that big a fink, IS that much of a slave driver.

*  Health and well being:  The data from two different health surveys of American political divisions, one from the University of Wisconsin and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the other from Gallup-Healthways, have been released.  The Obamas’ home district of IL-1 is the unhealthiest Congressional district in the country.  And by Obamas, I mean Michelle “Let’s Move” Obama.  Incidentally, IL-1 was the district that Barack Obama tried to take away from Bobby Rush in 2000.  The ten unhealthiest counties in Missouri are all in Southeast Missouri, the one that isn’t is St. Louis City, which happens to be the worst.  St. Charles is the healthiest county in Missouri.

Could we draw any conclusions from this data, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls?

Another “water is wet” moment for WikiLeaks.  We knew that all along, Julian.

I will say that since it’s WikiLeaks saying it, maybe now enough liberals will actually believe it.

Here’s a laugh, from CNS:

A group that backs a visa program designed to bring high-skilled foreign workers to the U.S. says that some of the approximately $3 billion in visa fees paid by employers benefits science and math scholarships, U.S. worker training and anti-fraud activities.

Good, so the H-xB visa fees that corporate sponsors pay help native born white Americans get degrees in STEM for which they’ll never be able to find work because of all the cheap labor H-xB visa holders as competition.  It’s a circle alright, but I wouldn’t call it a circle of life.

Peter Kindercare just got caught with his hands in the cookie jar.  It was expected that he was going to use Governor Nixon’s use of taxpayer funded jets as a campaign issue, but that’s out the window.  Too, Kinder’s ticketmate (whoever that winds up being) against Claire McCaskill for Senate was expected to use “Air Claire” against her, but that’s going to be harder for whoever runs against her, because s/he will be pretty much joined at the hip with Kindercare.

Kindercare’s excuse is that St. Louis City is so important to statewide politics and the economy of the state that taxpayers just had to foot his hotel bills.  Except St. Louis isn’t that important in statewide politics anymore — The next State Senate map won’t even have the City under two whole Senate districts, (currently there’s two whole ones and a part of a third), the U.S. House map that some in the body Kinder presides over (the State Senate) want to put the entire City in one Congressional district,  and for Kinder’s party, St. Louis City is useless, because St. Charles County has more people in general, many more registered voters, and worlds more Republicans.  And as far as being the important cog in the statewide economy, well, that was another thing that was once upon a time.

*  Speaking of St. Charles County, you St. Chuck residents need a new county executive and quick.

*  Okay, what’s the scam?  Precisely how were they cheating? I’m sure we’ll know within a year.

Farmers Field? I know it’s named after Farmers Insurance, but if you don’t explain that well enough, you might have people constantly planting crops on the 50-yard line.

And Then There Were Headlines…

1 04 2011

People:  Prince William Won’t Wear a Wedding Band

All I can conclude is that he’s planning on having affairs with the dumbest broads in England — I mean, who doesn’t know what Prince William looks like and that he’s about to get hitched?

Drudge:  JUDGE JUDY HEALTH SCARE: STARTED TALKING GIBBERISH

Okay, so what’s Obama’s excuse?

5:  Manhole covers snatched off East St. Louis streets

That’s it.  There’s nothing left in ESL to steal.

P-D:  Suspect found hiding in trash bin after St. Louis chase

Was the suspect sending a subliminal message about himself?  The cops should have left him there.

5:  Suspects crash into police car to avoid capture

Now there’s a good way to lay low from the long arm of the law — Crash into a cop car.

HillBuzz:  PETA wants the Bible rewritten so that animals have more respect.

See, I’ve been telling you God should have consulted with PETA before inspiring people to write His words on paper.

Daily Mail:  Photos of naked college sex romp ‘were never meant to go viral’ claims student who snapped the tryst

I can think of a couple other things that went viral thanks to these two.

WND:  Study shows ‘Islamophobia’ in U.S. a myth

More like a hoax.

Schlafly:  Must 5th Graders Learn Arabic?

It would help, since the schools want them to be Muslims.

Chronicle of Higher Ed:  Obama’s Approval Rating Rises Among College Students

Within a few weeks, we’ll find out that drug usage is doing the same.

Friday’s Frolicking Fools

1 04 2011

I really hate April 1 of every year.  It’s the one day of the year where the news is notoriously unreliable.

More like Graffiti Irony.

He’s a little too late to help Mariano Favazza.

*  Really.  They went to see a fight and a hockey game broke out.

*  Whatchyou talkin’ about, Willis?  This is Kansas City.  Maybe someone was actually shopping for some good human in the meat department.

It’s only a joke today, but give it a decade or two, and some Federal judge or some other leftist public figure will forcibly merge the school districts in St. Louis City and St. Charles County for the sake of racial desegregation.

*  May I posit an alternate theory to explain the diminishing popularity of baseball among children of little league age?  No future.  Why bother trying to be good at it when you have almost zero chance to make the major leagues, because the minor leagues are filled with cheap labor legal immigrant visa holders from the Dominican Republic and other Latin American countries?

*  Hey, they may be threatening to murder ICE and CBP agents and Texas Rangers, but that’s just a small price to pay for all that extra added diversity that makes us so strong.  Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet, as good ole Lenin said.

If you think it was just 5,000, even in one state, then I have a mountain to sell you.  In November 2000′s Presidential elections, somewhere between two and three million illegal aliens voted.

The answer is obvious — There’s nothing preventing them from doing so.  The election canvassing boards in certain counties are run by leftists, so they won’t refuse to sign up an illegal to vote.  Motor-voter practically begs the registration of illegal aliens.  And the U.S. Attorneys will barely do jack shit, because U.S. Attorneys are all run by open borders Republocratic Presidents.

*  The Metro East’s diversity is its strength.  And also the source of its cocaine.

*  Ulterior motivation:  The BCS might cut ties with the Fiesta Bowl in a few years, thanks to numerous corruption and spending scandals within the Fiesta Bowl organization.  While what I’m about to say is not listed as an official reason, I think the BCS officials also realize that the Fiesta Bowl is in Arizona, and they’re looking to stick it to the state for SB 1070.  The reason I think that is that after SB 1070 was passed last spring, the baseball junkies wanted Bud Selig to pull the 2011 All-Star Game out of Phoenix, but there was, Baskerville Hound type, no barking from the college football dogs about the Fiesta Bowl, it being part of the BCS, and the national championship game itself, which was just held in Glendale this past January and will continue to be every fourth January, if nothing changes.

*  ATF’s Gunwalker scandal update:  Malkin confirms that the program started even earlier than we thought — In 2005.  So while it started as a Bush era project, it ramped up big time under Obama.  And funding Operation Gunwalker, and also its offshoot of Project Fast and Furious, came from Obama’s Porkulus package.

That said, the version I now buy is that the Bush White House started it with the purported motivation — To let guns walk into the hands of the drug cartel members in order to build Federal cases against them.  Obama’s White House ramped it up because they wanted to inflate the number of American guns used in Mexican drug gang crime, in order to blame “loose” American gun laws.

*  “But race is just a social construct.”  It also seems to be a determinant in how long we watch TV every day, and also how frequently we use DVRs.

Nothing ever became the Cabrini-Green housing projects in life like the leaving of it.

*  A foreign aid bureaucrat claims that proposed Republican budget cuts would kill 70,000 children worldwide.  Of course, what he does not explain is why it is the responsibility of the American taxpayer to take care of the world’s children.  But that’s just little ole me — Only a racist would ask such critical questions.
