Lindsey Grahamnesty isn’t saying much about himself here. That his own constituents are begging this of him mean that white voters in a red state in the Deep South must not have enough confidence in their own elected Republican Senator such that they have to beg him.
I’ll give you a hint: They’re NOT begging Jim DeMint, (and they wouldn’t be even if he was staying in the Senate), because they don’t have to.
