Yet Another Nail in the Coffin of the Tancredo/V-Dare Strategy

H/T Malkin:  The black and Hispanic civil rights industries seem to be merging, under the aegis of common cause.

Though I should add this — MLK Day was always “Race Day,” and was never anything but

Good and Bad News on Immigration

23 10 2007

First, the good:  The New York State Senate, by more than a 2-to-1 margin, rejected Gov. Spitzer’s plan to give drivers’ licenses to illegal aliens.  Yesterday at the State Capital in Albany, there were “Impeach Spitzer” rallies.

Now, the bad:  Frances Semler was able to chase La Raza out of Kansas City, but not the NAACP.  The latter bunch of rabble-rousers have decided to convene in KC in 2010 anyway.

I Have Good News, and I Have Better News

First, the good news.  The National Council of The Race (”La Raza”) won’t be convening in Kansas City anytime soon, thereby making KC a much nicer place by definition.  Thank you Frances Semler.

Now, the better news.  In doing so, they have exposed themselves for the Aztlan-on-the-Brain reconquista nuts we knew they were all along, and now even the few dunderheads who thought they were nothing more than the Mexican-American version of the Lions Club will see right through them.

My Kind of Gal

Frances Semler is my new hero. If her very presence on the Kansas City Parks Board is going to drive away the La Raza convention in 2009, and the NAACP convention in 2010, from KC, then she, just by living and breathing, will have done more than everyone combined in that cow town’s civic elite to make it a nicer place.
