Michigan Gives George Romney’s Baby Boy Willard a Win

15 01 2008

Yep, that’s his real first name.

As of the time of this writing, half the precincts are counted, and Ron Paul is in fourth place with 6% of the vote.  He beat Fred! and Mr. Noun-Verb-9/11, and thus had the best finish of those not considered “competitive” in Michigan.  And, according to ABC News, Ron Paul did that well because:

Among the trailing candidates, Ron Paul’s showing in some groups was notable: He won 24 percent of the youngest voters (age 18-24), 21 percent of those who are angry with the Bush administration and 24 percent of those who disapprove strongly of the war in Iraq.

This means that RP had to finish in at least second place among voters 18-24.

As for my candidate, it was yet another rounded-down-to-zero percent showing :(  People who couldn’t make up their mind numbered six times more than Duncan Hunter’s votes.
