The Blaze:

Kindergarteners at a Texas elementary school were sent home with lyrics to a pro-President Barack Obama song that included such lines as “Barack Obama is the man” and “He’s our man, yes we can!”

The song, part of a Black History Month program, was forwarded from a parent at Tipps Elementary School in Houston to Joe “Pags” Pagliarulo, a nationally syndicated radio host and frequent fill-in for Glenn Beck. Included with the lyrics was an apparent memo to kindergarten teachers that said kindergarteners would be “required” to learn the chant for the program [all spelling errors below are original].  Tipps Elementary School is 62% Hispanic, 20% Black, 11% White and 7% API.  The school is Pre-K through 5th, so I imagine that there is an inverse relationship between grade level and Hispanic percentage, based on Texas’s demographic future, i.e. KG is more Hispanic than 5th Grade.

Sure, Malia and Sasha are going to Yale.  I wonder if their father is going to wield any undue influence on the Yale admissions committee.  Hmmm.

The end of this op-ed in the Detroit News calling for Michigan to swap out fluoride for contraceptives in the water in order to curtail the population of irresponsible parents having irresponsible children (read: black) says that:

Nolan Finley is editorial page editor of The News. His column appears on Thursdays and Sundays.

Not for much longer.  The number of hours that will pass before the NAACP calls for his head are so few that even the most innumerate tribes of people on Earth can count them.

Oh well, at least Finley didn’t call for eating black children.

WOIO-CBS-19 Cleveland:

Cincinnati High School Paying Students To Come To School

CINCINNATI, Ohio (CBS Cleveland) — A Cincinnati high school is paying its students to come to school.

The Dohn Community High School has launched a $40,000 incentive program to get students to come to class.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, students will get Visa gift cards for showing up everyday for school, being on time for class and not getting into trouble. Seniors would get $25 while underclassmen would get $10.

The school would also put $5 into a savings account for the student that earns a gift card.

The school is trying out this new idea after the Ohio Department of Education designated the school an “academic emergency” on its report card. About 14 percent of students graduated from Dohn during the 2010-2011 school year.

Yep, 95% black, according to that website that will soon be denounced as a hate crime against humanity,

Wait until these students get into the real world, there there are no bonuses for showing up on time and every day and being civil on the job.  It’s instead thought of as a minimum standard of professional behavior.  Then again, stamping out license plates in prison and collecting welfare aren’t really “jobs” per se.

Pentagon May Oust Troops Involuntarily to Meet Reductions in Budget Plan

The Defense Department may have to force soldiers, Marines or other members of the military out of the services for the first time since the aftermath of the Cold War to achieve the spending reductions in its budget proposal.

The Pentagon plans to cut 67,100 soldiers from active and reserve Army units and the Army National Guard in the five years starting Oct. 1, as well as 15,200 from the active and reserve ranks of the Marine Corps as part of an effort to save $487 billion over a decade, according to the budget sent to Congress today. The Navy and Air Force would lose fewer people — 8,600 and 1,700 respectively — because of their role in a strategic shift toward the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.

The military will first try buying out contracts or offering bonuses for people to leave, while working to keep those with valuable specialties such as cyber warfare and acquisitions, according to Travis Sharp, a fellow at the Center for a New American Security, a Washington policy group, who attended a Pentagon briefing for analysts last month.

The Pentagon has said it is aiming to a create a smaller, more agile military. Special operations forces, whose commandos killed Osama bin Laden last year, would be expanded.

Read between the lines.  Who’s getting the brunt of these cuts?

Let me spell it out for you:

B-L-A-C-K, and to a smaller extent, H-I-S-P-A-N-I-C.

Republicans in Congress already have signaled they will challenge the Pentagon reductions when lawmakers take up the proposed fiscal 2013 budget that President Barack Obama sent to Congress today.

Maybe they shouldn’t, especially if I’m right with my theory.

“I don’t think we can stand here and say there won’t be any involuntary separation,” Hale told reporters at the Pentagon today. “We have very high retention right now with the economy still fairly weak. If that changes, it will be easier. If it doesn’t, it will be harder.”

The department will seek to “do this in as humane a way as we can,” Hale said.

Maybe it’s time to reintroduce the word “manumission” to the American vocabulary?  A lot of people were worried about the draft coming back, the Pentagon conscripting men who may not to come.  In reality, it’s going to have the opposite problem — Jettisoning people who don’t want to leave, in an economy still mired in a severe recession.

The DOJ-HLS-ADL-SPLC continuum released a report a couple of years ago worried about returning military veterans and “right wing extremism.”  I should think they would run another report like this in light of the coming personnel cuts, but if they don’t, that might be another clue about my race theory above.  Why would blacks and Hispanics in general, much less ones laid off from the Army, run out and become right-wing anything, much less right-wing extremists?

Monday’s Quick Hits

13 02 2012

There are quite a few stories that grabbed my interest in the last 24 hours or so, but none of them were worthy of their own posts.  So I’ll revert to the quick rundown format.

*  There is some immigration that can be done just by jumping over the border.  For everything else, there’s visa (fraud).

*  “All drama is about lies.”  True ‘Dat.

What kind of WASP-y blue blooded young man would want to rape a white woman when his money and status means that there are plenty of white women who would willingly sleep with him?

Ann Purzner has passed away.  She was the one who tried to toss Bob Herman out on his ears as Overland City Attorney.

*  Three Cheers for the Show-Me:  The biggest “3G Wasteland” west of the Mississippi and east of the Rockies is in the Ozarks of the south central-southeast part of our state.

*  The Lemp Mansion has been featured on several “ghost chaser” shows on cable.

But this article confirms two things which I have always supsicioned:  One, that Falstaff still outsold Budweiser in St. Louis even when Budweiser was the top selling beer in the country (I stronly suspicion the reason for that was the Cardinals, Falstaff was the official beer sponsor of the Cardinals until A-B bought the team in 1953, probably to hurt Lemp), and that the reason A-B and Lemp were in just about the same part of the city was not a coincidence.

It’s a national story, but I’m putting it in the local pile, for I wonder how long it will be before the Joyce-McCulloch-Boyer troika starts moaning and bitching about Obama’s critics once again.

*  Again with the lion sociology.  Young cubs/infants are killed, adolescent males/teenage boys are ejected from the pride/thrown out of the house.  But what if it’s a boy too old to kill and too young to throw out?  Answer:  Kill them later, if they’re not good house slaves.

Linsanity, Part I:  Darrel Morey, GM of the Houston Rockets, a team which had Lin on paper before this season started, said that:  “Look at it this way: Twenty-eight teams and what, over 300 Division I schools – the whole food chain of college basketball – passed on him.”

So he had to settle for Harvard and the New York Knicks.  Talk about living well being the best revenge.

Linsanity, Part II:  “A couple inches of pain.”  Sure, Whitlock.  I’m sure the far better endowed Amar’e Stoudamire and Carmelo “Warn-a-Brother” Anthony are actually feeling far more hurt, as some $762K a year bench scrub is looking like those two and their combined $32 million of salary this season look like a waste of money.

The ND Oil Boom has a down side.

And an up side.

*  BYU has few black students, cue violins, denounce the comedy of a comedian while you’re at it.

Does anyone even remember Brandon Davies?  We all should know why BYU has few black students, because of the whole “keep your gun in the holster” rule.

*  Grandpa told mom, and mom told me, never to buy or rent a house on a street corner.

That’s why.

*  It’s official.  The WHOLE Alphabet Gang knew about Gunrunner.  Yet, Eric “My People” Holder didn’t know (“-“), and neither did President Obama.

And if you buy that, then I have some Mexican clean water to sell you.

Stockbroker at 17.  Gray by 21.  Heart attack by 35.  There’s a reason why 17-year olds don’t want to be stockbrokers.

*  Sure, I’d trust Jerry Sandusky around his own grandsons, I just wouldn’t trust him around yours.

*  Pop goes the Obama campaign talking point.  You are now officially on the hook for the Shari’ah Spring.

*  Dad’s a cop, and in fact, high up in the union, but doesn’t run a tight ship at home.

Philadelphia’s Drexel University as a “Center for the Prevention of School-Aged Violence.”  Its staff and faculty should look around its own city, maybe then they’ll realize how big of a money pit is their “Center.”

*  What’s wrong with White America, Part too-high-to-count.

Ivory Coast’s national soccer team.  What, don’t they revere diversity in the IC?  You couldn’t have a European soccer team be all white much less all the appropriate white ethnic without some lobby bitching about racism.  I know from watching the World Cup in 2010 that the British, French, Dutch and German teams have a lot of non-whites, especially blacks.
