Why Sudan Won’t “Liberate” South Sudan Anytime Soon

Because China is heavily invested in both sides.  Oh yeah, Beijing might tolerate a lot of huffing and puffing between the two, and in fact, they would welcome it because it’s the kind of divide et impera they need to keep the natives distracted from their own “investments.”  But an all-out hot war would be bad for business.
