Houston Chronicle :

HOUSTON (AP) — A jury’s acquittal Wednesday of a former Houston police officer in the alleged beating of a 15-year-old burglary suspect during a videotaped arrest upset black community leaders who criticized the verdict as unjust and racist.

Andrew Blomberg, 29, was the first of four fired police officers to stand trial for their roles in the alleged beating of Chad Holley during a daylight arrest on March 2010. The incident involving the black teen, now 18, prompted fierce public criticism of the Police Department by community activists who called it another example of police brutality against minorities.

What next?  Riots?  With Houston becoming a Mexican city, I doubt the blacks there have the mojo to start a riot.

Oh, but they’re trying.

The world insists on acting out “The Bonfire of the Vanities,” one insane race-baiting incident at a time.

the thing is, if Chad Holley was white, white people still wouldnt care about the beating. We hate criminals of all races..if you steal, rob, murder, run from the police..then you might get an ass whipping..even if you are white. Hey, my dad taught me, if you mess up, or run from the cops, youll get a beating, and i aint gonna be able to help you. I always remembered that. Too bad for Quannell X, or whatever his real name is..I mean, he always finds the lowlife thugs to be his cause celebre..if there was a black man beaten for NO reason, while walking down the street minding his own business I could see it..but that didnt happen..just a burglar getting what he deserves. Mama shouldve taught him better.

If Chad Holley was white, we wouldn’t care about it mainly because we would have never heard about it.
