That’s Just About Right (But Not Quite)

Maybe the minimum wage mania is the left’s end run in its war against fast feeders.  Except I don’t think that a higher minimum wage will much affect larger chains, which can afford to invest in mechanization and robotics.  Who will really be hurt are mom and pop operations, like the pizzeria you read about this article.

I happen to think the left’s real silent goal with higher urban-specific minimum wages is to drive NAMs out of cities, because NAMs tend to low wage jobs whose wages are less than the proposed or implemented urban minimum wages.
