How to Think About the HRC E-Mail Scandal

21 08 2015

Washington, D.C.

Obama and Hillary are playing tug of war.

Obama doesn’t like the Clintons on a personal level, and he fears that HRC as President would alter his accomplishments in a pseudo centrist sort of way, the Iran deal and ObamaDontCare among others.  Obama would rather have Joe Biden as the next President, because he’ll just be a placeholder for Obama’s agenda and people as Obama rides off into the sunset to play lots of golf and collect big speaking fees.

Hillary’s husband is still the most popular Democrat politician or politician emeritus alive.

Obama is pulling on the rope by trying to FUD Hillary’s Presidential ambitions to death, the daily “drip drip” of new revelations from the investigation.  I don’t think Obama actually wants to indict Hillary, much less see a formal Grand Jury empaneled.  He just wants to swing the Sword of Damocles above her head, to get her to withdraw for whatever excuse she thinks she has to truck out to save face.  But if worse comes to worst, I think he will drop the hammer.

Hillary is pulling on the rope by subtly reminding everyone that she’s a woman, she would be the first woman President, and that none of the other Democrat candidates can offer any sort of “historic first” kind of identity politics significance.  She’s also subtly reminding everyone that in spite of the scandals, she’s still the best chance the party has to hold the White House, and she shares a last name with the most popular Democrat politician alive.

We will see who is tugged into the mud puddle.

Would it be safe to assume that if Hillary Clinton fails to win the Democratic nomination,or wins the nomination but loses in the general election, that her political career is permanently finished?

Kinda hard to keep coming back to the same dry well over and over. As you know, per “Cal” in your name, presumably California, very old women can keep getting elected to the Senate over and over again, but the Presidency is something else.

Somebody should have done a “real” poll on her, long ago. Instead of asking the mundane, “Can she do the job? Can she win? Is America ready for a woman?”, get to the real point — “Do you think Hillary is a cunt? Does everyone else thinks she is a cunt?”
That is her biggest problem, that she is a phony, hateful, unbalanced, extremely-hateable cunt, who can’t even lock down her own lesbian-feminist demographic (Paglia). An 80% Zogby Cunt Rating could have saved her and the entire Left 16 years of futility, but … um, never mind. Scratch the cunt poll, it’s a stupid idea. Keep up the great work, Oil the gears, Lube the pistons, Chins up, Stiff upper lip, Damn the torpedoes.

As I see it, it makes no difference who the Dem nominee is because the deciding factor will be the participation, or not, of the wight-wing extwemists. If the Reps nominate a cuck, we stay home, Dems win. If our man heads the ticket, we vote, Dems lose.

Weren’t we the ones responsible for the defeat of both McCain and Romney, simply by not voting? Many thanks to frustration, internet, and now the cuckservative meme.

You’re right, I don’t see how Biden helps the Democrats among voters any more than Hillary. Remember Biden has already run for President himself twice and gone nowhere. But it’s just all Obama’s ego at work.

Rumors keep getting floated about Gore and/or Kerry entering.

Gore, because he’s still steaming over a few chads, and Kerry, because he thinks that everyone is so in love with this Iran deal and he’ll get enough credit for it if happens in order to be swept into the White House, which he thought was his back in 2004 but for a few Swift Boat ads.

I wouldn’t it past either of them to run. Mr. Peanut was doing so poorly against Reagan in 1980 that the Commiecrats drafted Ted Kennedy to run against him even though Governor Moonbeam was already running.

Remember though, polling even up to late October 1980 showed Reagan and Carter even. How there came to be such a differential between election day reality and the polls can be debated for a long time, maybe Carter’s polling support was mushy, maybe Reagan ran under the radar, maybe undecideds broke heavily for Reagan, maybe Reagan had a sizeable percentage of voters who pollsters missed (just as pollsters missed the elderly black women who turned out in record droves to vote for Obama in 2012), or maybe the polling orgs had the truth but goosed the parameters to create pro-Carter pollaganda so as not to depress Democrat turnout and give Carter a chance. But, it does mean that when Ted Kennedy challenged Carter early in 1980, it wasn’t because Carter was behind Reagan, in fact, at that time, Reagan being the Republican nominee was nowhere near a sure thing. IIRC going into that season, the Republican establishment wanted George H.W. Bush or Howard Baker. Ted Kennedy challenged Carter because he thought Carter could be taken down in Democrat primaries, and in fact, when Kennedy announced, he had a 2-1 national lead over Carter, albeit one that quickly disappeared and turned the polar opposite when voting happened.

Not enough people would take Gore seriously. All of that was just too long ago now.

With Kerry it’s the Obama foreign policy taint (not to mention also being a previous loser) — despite how bad Obama has been domestically, if anything he’s been worse on foreign policy, with all those female hacks he’s appointed wreaking havoc in Libya, Syria, Ukraine, etc etc. And he’ll be 73 when he takes office.

The Goldman Sachs Wing doesn’t have a whole lot of choices besides Gore, Kerry, or Biden.

Ok, maybe Carter was doing poorly enough against the Generic Republican (because of the hostage crisis) that the Commies decided to run the Drunk against him.

It’s been 35 years. My memory is a little hazy.

Don’t be so sure that Mr. Obama won’t sic the dogs on Hillary. This guy cares nothing for the Democrat Party or politics. He’s gotta be the WORST POLITICIAN I’ve ever seen, Except for one-liners and glitzy PR this guy is about as slick as a used car salesman picking up women at a bar.
Everything this guy does is a disaster. Even he can’t be this stupid. I’ve had a theory that there is no Barack Hussein Obama. There was an autobiography published of him before anyone knew who he was. It must have been printed just to establish a fake identity. Have you seen anyone who knows this guy? He’s supposedly a real overnight success story, but nobody who knows him does any interviews.
Somebody spent Two BILLION DOLLARS to put him in the White House and he’s been destroying both political parties ever since. He’ll probably end up destroying the Entire Government with his crazy policies that don’t help anyone in America. Like I said before, NOBODY CAN BE THIS STUPID. If he shoots down Hillary that crazy quilt “Rainbow Coalition” is gonna fall apart faster than a cheap suit. Trust me, Obama Don’t Care.

Let’s see, 35 years ago. Hmm.

I recall the main things that decided that. One was Carter’s ‘malaise’ speech (plenty of justification for economic malaise at the time). Another was the hostage thing. Both hurt Carter. A big one IMO was that Carter looked and acted a lot like Lindsay Graham does now. Next to Reagan, the old cowboy, Carter came off as a real wimp.

I seem to recall something about 14 percent inflation and 21 percent T-Bill rates.

I was listening to Rush earlier today and a caller called with pretty much this same theory almost verbatim and Rush pretty much agreed.

Well, Sanders would be the first Jewish president. Would that count?

Technically yes, but I get the feeling that Sanders doesn’t seem “Jewishy” enough to count, even though he did inhabit an Israeli kibbutz.

If he were indeed Jewishy enough, the leftists would never vote for him because he’s a Joooooo!!1!1!!11!!! and the elite, whether left or right, wouldn’t either because they don’t want his kind in their exclusive little world.

This country will never, ever have a Jewish president, and that includes one with the guts and views of a Netanyahu.
