Wisconsin primaries, both parties.  Bern will probably win the Democrat side easily, while on the Republican side, the polling is all over the place but the average leans Cruz.

St. Louis City Proposition E, which will pass, i.e. the city will retain its earnings tax.  Though that’s not the point.

The tax increase propositions in Ferguson, if they fail, then Ferguson can’t fund the DOJ consent decree, and then we can start the death watch.

Those are the elections today I’m watching.

Otherwise, open thread.

The cucks at NRO and elsewhere are banking on Wisconsin. Trump may benefit from “low expectations.”

Trump is also playing the downsell-thyself game.

I’m gonna guess that he does better than expected. Media keeps talking about what a bad week he had. I’m just not seeing it. Lewandowski arrest was clearly bogus. Baby killers weren’t going to vote for Trump anyway. Trump does better in open primaries. Should be close.

Absentee ballots out of the city: 63% Yes on Prop E, yes means keeping the earnings tax. The regular votes will probably push it higher. Thereby proving my point.

KC also votes on earnings tax retention, so far, early results, yes is winning by a better than 2-1 margin.

St. Louis County won’t report numbers until after 9 PM, because they’re going to keep the polling places affected by the ballot shortage open for two more hours. One of the affected polling places just happens to be where I would now be voting based on my Richmond Heights address if I actually voted today; as it was, I already voted absentee.

42% in St. Louis City, E winning by more than 2-1. 23% in KC, same thing.

Politico already declares WI-R for Cruz, not even 40 minutes in, and it looks like it’s going to be a big margin, unfortunately.

Politico calls WI-D for Bern.

78%/60% in in STL/KC, E leads with 71%/75%, all respectively.

For reference, the STL/KC numbers on this same ballot question five years ago were 87%/78%, respectively.

Bern wins WI, the only reason he didn’t win with a blowout margin is because all the elderly black women in Milwaukee came through for HRC.

Translation: I won’t make any sort of deal to make Cruz my running mate in exchange for enough delegates to get me over the top on ballots past the first.

100% in in both STL and KC.

STL: 72% Yes, 28% No.
KC: 77% Yes, 23% No.

Compared to five years ago, the fact that St. Louis went from 87% Yes down to 72% Yes may well give a lot of people a lot of pause, especially since the raw number of Yes votes was about the same in 2016 (33.1k) compared to 2011 (34.3k), but there were way many more No votes now (12.7k) than five years ago (4.9k). However, that could be just a matter of the statistical noise that is a function of different years or different times, or it could be around 8k city voters responded positively to Rex and Co’s media buy campaign, though I think 12.7k votes against the city earnings tax is the hard ceiling.

Meanwhile, the pandemonium in Maplewood is so thick that you could cut it with a knife. Meaning no numbers out of St. Louis County until probably tomorrow morning.

St. Louis County just dropped. One tax measure in Ferguson passed, the sales tax for economic development, but the property tax increase, the one that was the meat of funding the DOJ consent decree, failed, even though it got a majority, it needed 2/3 and didn’t get that. Therefore, Ferguson’s death watch is back on.

Don’t gas up at the Foristell exit off of 70 anymore, that berg’s voters just passed an extra cent in the gas sales tax, mainly to hit up the truck stops.

How many years before Pedo is the new Tranny – with top Republicans welcoming them into their big pink tent, corporations boycotting States with pedophobic bathroom laws, and the Supreme Court declaring pedogamy to be Constitutional and Age of Consent laws to be Unconstitutional? It’s not just Erick Erickson getting paid either. Ben Shapiro is being paid, Mark Levin is being paid, Glenn Beck is being paid, Rush Limbaugh is being paid, iHeartMedia is being paid, the Beasely Group is being paid, Hugh Hewitt is being paid, Michael Medved is being paid. The entire Salem Media Communications enterprise (broadcast radio and web-based content) is making hundreds of thousands off of these political payments for punditry.
