Mr. Obama, You Need to Schedule an Appointment with the Ophthalmologist

Washington, D.C.

Politico:

“I see a straight line from the announcement of Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential nominee to what we see today in Donald Trump, the emergence of the Freedom Caucus, the tea party, and the shift in the center of gravity for the Republican Party,” the president told New York Magazine.

Seeing things that aren’t really there, it’s a sign of middle aged typical loss of visual acuity.

If there’s any there there with any of this, it’s more of a rough cone, not a straight line.

Which is why I think Obama doesn’t believe any of what said in this interview.  Because after that, he bitches about all the fictional opposition he has(n’t) experienced as President.  This man is not that unsophisticated nor that stupid, even if he is lazy.

or to put it another way, the only link between Trump and the tea party is how the tea party got screwed over.
