Stray Voltage 2.0

24 01 2017

Washington, D.C.

I think I figured out Sean Spicer is up to with yammering about crowd sizes and TV ratings yesterday, and about illegal aliens voting and other illegally-cast votes today.

It’s a Trump-era reboot of the stray voltage maneuver that David Plouffe invented for (sorry, but I just can’t get enough of this phrase) (now-) former President Obama.

The difference is that Plouffe wanted to push an issue to the forefront of consciousness, to hell with the truth of the details.

I think what Orange-Crowned God-Emperor and Spicer are up to is that they’re creating diversions that they know the media will feast over, in order to clown them.

Another thing I just figured out.

Everyone knows that all this talk about zomg the popular vote lol, is just a way to psychologically delegitimize Trump and his ability to govern. Trump is counter-betting by discussing voter fraud, which is how he’s trying to delegitimize the delegitimization effort.

We’re in the middle of a poker table.

If you like “former president Obama” so much, why not give “deposed president Obama” a spin?
We shouldn’t ignore the popular vote problem. If Trump doesn’t get serious about deporting the invaders, (((one))) of the Dems could very well figure out how to migrate their surplus over to the battle zones by 2020.

A bigly important talking point now and forever is what high proportion of fist-stuffed goons comprise the media corps.

I wouldn’t call it a poker table so much as a yuuge cargo ship full of litmus strips dumped in the middle of each presser.

There are a lot of stupid people, and it’s hard to bring them off their stupid lefty or GOPe thinking. They’ve been groomed for their reaming for at least 50 years now.

But the more Spicer can reframe the stupidest questions, draw the journo in, and show them for what they are–beakersful of sugary urine, e.g.–the better.

We were saying earlier in the week Chez Olorin that this is the first time in our lives we’ve tuned into a reality TV show, ever: WH.gov’s vid feeds (though we usually go to CSPAN) at YT’s /user/whitehouse
