Enterprise CarShare halts service in Chicago, citing ‘theft, vandalism and fraud’

Chicago crime has led Enterprise’s car-sharing operation to cancel existing reservations in the area and stop taking new ones, the company says.

Enterprise CarShare has had “a lack of vehicle availability” for the past six weeks, as “a direct effect of significant vandalism, theft and fraud,” the company told its members via email Tuesday.

About 40 percent of Enterprise CarShare’s fleet had been involved in theft or vandalism, a company spokesman said.

WRPT.

But, remember, Jackass Taylor loves him some Dindus.

I always assumed these cars were tracked by GPS the entire time they were in use. Also thought the average Chicago thug would not have the knowledge necessary to disable the GPS. Perhaps both those assumptions were wrong.

Sports homers often discuss Football IQ or Baksketball IQ. Many of us have Regular IQs +5 or +6sd over these shitheads; but they probably score +3sd over us, in Criminal IQ.
See e.g. the recent case of a Tijuana spic motorcycle gang crossing into San Diego to steal a fleet of Jeeps. These spics had sophisticated gear including key programmers. Organized car thieves (probably even negroes) have known how to jam GPS for a few years now.
