May We Live In Interesting Times

Guest post by Puggg

I’m going to use a separate post for tonight’s status update on our blogmeister.

While he’s mentally and physically only slightly better than yesterday, he is starting to think about his blog, that is, what you’re reading here, and his fans.  Though I should say that, other than me, whose name he didn’t even remember until yesterday, he is only thinking about his audience as a generality of a crowd, he is not thinking of any of you in particular by screen name, not yet.

But because he’s thinking of his blog and his readers, and because he’s been paying attention to the news as much as he can, he said something to me, and I asked him if he would mind if I wrote what he said (or close enough to it) as a message to all his readers on his blog, as I reminded him that he gave me access to the keys to this place, and I also reminded him that I’m keeping it up in his absence.  He said yes.

His message (or close enough) starts after the dashes.

Trump bringing in that Corleone slick [Puggg interrupts: Anthony Sacramucci] is the first domino that brings down a really big pile of dominoes. Trump will fire Bannon, Priebus, Sessions and Mueller and maybe a few other big names either in one felt swoop or a functional equivalent. If he could fire Pence as part of this swoop, I think he would, but Pence is technically elected, so he can’t. Stephen Miller, a Sessions transplant, will probably quit out of anger that Sessions was fired, even though Trump would really want him to stay. Trump appoints Giuliani as either AG or a special prosecutor on the Hillary beat. Without the ideological moorings of Sessions, Bannon and Miller, the Trump administration will start getting really wildly inconsistent and unwieldy from a policy standpoint. But that’s not the crucial follow here: Once someone in the direct Trump orbit starts the ball rolling on prosecuting Hillary, and/or gets serious about draining the swamp in a big way, that’s when the shit gets serious. That’s when the deep state tries to have him assassinated, or that’s when Trump chimps out and nukes the deep state. I think on what would ordinarily be on the schedule election day 2020, there won’t be an election, and Trump will either be an absolute ruler, or dead. [Puggg interrupts: I reminded him at this point that he already made this prediction a few weeks ago and wrote a post about it, though he only vaguely remembers doing that.] If Trump is dead, then the absolute ruler will be the man who is currently close enough to the brass ring who has read every book ever published, and has the intellectual heft to win over civilians in general and crucial civilians in particular, and already has the hearts and minds of the military, which means we’ll be living under a James Mattis led junta. [Puggg interrupts: I told him at this point that this part is new on his part].

May we live in interesting times.

Wow….he’s getting better. Thanks

Though his voice was pretty weak.

Getting back to his point, maybe we shouldn’t be taking all this seriously. Remember what Trump did before he was doing this? We could be in the middle of a reality show that he’s producing, and that none of this is real, that everyone around him is pretending to throw pies at each other.

I get that, but enjoyed the hell out of it.

He sounds a lot better than I expected. I’ve met people who’ve had strokes that had to re-learn how to do the most basic things, I was expecting something akin to that. As ever, thanks for the updates. Any speculation on when he might be going home?

I think the Blogmeister will recover.

A few days ago, there was a story on the internet about a toddler who experienced a near-drowning event with severe brain damage, but made an excellent recovery after some kind of hyperbaric oxygen treatment. I wonder if the doctors could do something similar for the blogmeister. This is just a wild idea — I know nothing about science in general or medicine in particular.

I should say it again, just in case you missed it in the other post. I won’t be able to visit him until early next week, and I hope that by then, he’s discharged, which means I won’t be able to visit him, unless I go to his uncle’s house, where he’ll be living for awhile after he is discharged. Work is going to be demanding over the next few days.

If this is how good he is with half his brain tied behind his back…. I’m worried much less for him now.

I hope we don’t get a Mattis emporership. From what little I can tell about the man, while he loves his Marines and these United States unequivocally, he is a war hawk. I wanted someone who would disengage from world carnage and focus on rooting out the rot here at home.
The existential threat to what we all cherish is stateside.

good to hear blogmesiter is doing well.

hes usually good at predicting human nature but i don’t really see the trump assassination being ballpark reality. we’re not slaving peasants we’re freeman who’ve been screwed out of a future due to creature comforts and worthless ideology.

Alright Dan

No matter what, no matter how loud or soft he says it, no matter anything else, it’s good news if he’s thinking subversively.

I see your screen name, I know what it refers to, so I bet you’ve already heard the news about that.

With all due respect to the blogmeister, I’ve seen these apocalyptic predictions before. Nixon (before Watergate broke) was going to declare himself Richard I. Clinton and Obama would supposedly refuse to leave office after eight years.

Right. I also don’t see a scenario where even 20% of the country would accept Trump canceling the election. Most voters understand the government is fundamentally corrupt, while they are sick of it, an overwhelming majority wouldn’t trust Trump to set it right with no checks on his power.

Well, Priebus is out as of today, and John Kelly is moving from Homeland Security to Chief of Staff, and this opens Homeland Security up. Kelly was somewhat disappointing doing Homeland Security.

Damn right – the only appointment worse than Kelly would have been the disastrous General Casey douchebag (he made the comment about “diversity” following the Fort Hood massacre). Kelly has been abysmal and it shows how the upper echelons of the military are all completely brainwashed and infected with this PC nonsense even after they retire. Trump is really playing with fire hiring these professional backstabbers and scoundrels. He’d be better served by hiring patriotic retired NCO’s. Chris Kobach would be a Godsend at Homeland Security. You and our Blogmeister are 100% correct – we are living in interesting times and I hope to be alive in 2020 to see how this plays out if Trump is not destroyed by his Republican enemies. Thank you Puggg!

He got the Priebus right! He has more brain cells half-conscious than I do fully awake!

But we’ll have to see what happens from here. It might only be Priebus.

Seems like the roaches are just getting away from the light while Citizen Dump winds up one last roundup of golem for the synagogue of Satan. I suppose the nose goblins are expecting the Land of Chin to be their new golem. Stupid is all they really are.
If you’re still riding the Subhuman Train of Citizen Dump, you better get a Swamp Thing T-Shirt. Enjoy the swamp. Its the Going Out of Business Neo Cohen War.
