Just Nifty.

I can now tell you that, when our normal host was hospitalized between Friday and this morning, he had to be taken to the ER because he fell unconscious, and while there, he was in a coma for a short period of time.

Now that he’s out and at a secret hideout, as part of Operation Keep Away, a wheelchair has become his new best friend.  Because he could either fall down, collapse, go unconscious, go into a seizure, or fall into a coma, at any time.  Which also means there will be no leaving him alone and by himself for anything close to extended periods of time.

On top of that, compared to August, the first month of recovery, he has even less of a desire to communicate now, which says a lot because he didn’t have much of a desire in August, and to make matters worse, he really doesn’t want to do anything.  At least back in August he was reading and listening to quality mind stimulating music.  And on eclipse day, it almost seemed like he was back to his old self if just for one day.  Not now. This makes me glad for his sake the eclipse happened last month instead of this month, because if it did happen this month and even if he wasn’t in the hospital, and he actually saw it, it’s possible he wouldn’t be able to appreciate it if it happened, say, right now.

He’s probably two steps above being an out and out right human vegetable.  Even if he is what they call “semi-ambulatory.”

Other than that, he’s doing just great.  Nifty, even.
