Your Blogmeister’s Secret Hideout

Have any of you had the same problem I’ve had in, say, about the last two to three weeks?

Getting two or three calls a day from numbers from various area codes that you don’t recognize, so you let it go to voice mail, and someone leaves a message about drug or alcohol addiction treatment.

I’ve had that problem with my sail foam, and here at the secret rehab hideout, the lord and lady of the manor have had the same problem, though not quite as frequently, on the order of one a day, but not on all days, with their landline phone.

Needless to say, I don’t have a drug or alcohol addiction problem.  My physical rehab doctors all along studiously avoided writing me any opiate scripts, and only would have if I experienced very bad pain for relatively extended periods of time.

Your area code must be a booming market for rehab.

My sail foam and the hideout’s landline phone have different area codes.

I get mirrored calls several times a day. I don’t answer.

Scam robo-calls. The numbers may be computer-generated, especially the sail foam ones.

I get the calls, relayed though a fake number from a nearby town, most seem automated, then some crap about a scam auto warranty some crook is trying to sell.

It's your dime, spill it. And also...NO TROLLS ALLOWED~!
