The Fundamental Question

9 11 2020

Washington, D.C.

At some point in the near future, be it January 20, 2021, or January 20, 2025, or some date in between, the person of Donald John Trump will no longer be President of the United States.

With the fact that the Trump Presidency will end, sooner or later, it has gotten my mind into a retrospective mood. There’s been one big chronic over-arching question on my mind in these the last five and a half years:

What explains the very widespread society-wide officially promulgated hatred of and contempt for him?

Because it’s unquestionably true that no other person who has been or was in very serious contention to be President of the United States in the post-WWII era has experienced anything close to the near-unanimous official vitriol that Trump has in these last five and a half years. Not even Richard Nixon. Hell, at least the national news media, which conspired against Nixon ever since he first ran for Congress, and succeeded when he was fool enough to obstruct justice over a third-rate hotel burglary, gave Nixon timely and contemporary credit for his foreign policy “successes” on China and ending American participation in the Vietnam War. (Even though the China “successes” really don’t seem that way today — Ed.) In contrast, as far as I can tell, the current year American official news media barely said or wrote “Abraham Accords.”

(Note that when I’m talking about “official vitriol,” I’m talking both about from official quarters, and above and beyond the usual red-blue partisan rancor, and above and beyond the typical raspberry-throwing that anyone with any kind of power inevitably experiences. Every President of the United States, from 1 to 45, has gotten it from someone or somewhere. What I’m about is what Trump has gotten delta the first 44.)

But I keep coming back to the same one-word question:

Why?

What’s the heat and energy source for something this widespread? Because it has to be a really serious heat and energy source, for it to be this widespread and for this long. You can boil a thimble full of water with a lighted match, but what Trump has been facing would boil all the Earth’s oceans away.

Why is it that Official America begged for, engaged in, and even semi-justified, blatant obvious naked voter fraud and election stealing in their attempt to oust him?

All the usual explanations are weak sauce, so don’t even waste your time trying to float them.

I have come up with three theories, both of which have their own problems, and first of which is probably too weak to explain, and second is taboo to bear:

(1) China. Official America in both the public and private sphere is just way too invested in China to tolerate this or any White House treating Beijing like an economic adversary.

(2) The second one, I’ve gotta go there. The Jews (as in official organized activist Jewish interests) are scared of him, for some reason. Now, if you’re looking for the capability to produce ocean-boiling heat, there you go.

(3) The natural cliquishness of human beings. You have to remember that Trump is the first President who was neither never elected to anything before nor a military general. Beyond that, Trump was never let his brain be fried in the ideological oil of the conventional “permissible” current era options. Ever since Trump made his first Presidential overtures in October 1987, his only points of consistency have been economic nationalism, some vague idea of civic nationalism, and hostility to the Asian economic rival du jour, with everything else being ultimately negotiable. Anyway, back to the point, cliques have a natural habit of wanting to repel outsiders as if they were a virus, even outsiders that are friendly to the Weltanschauung of the clique.

Now, peanut gallery, let’s see if you can come up with some as-good or better theories.

If Trump’s legal challenges aren’t successful, or for some reason, he drops them “for the good of the country,” then the date will be this coming January 20. If that’s what happens, then I have one burning question:

How soon does the Strange New Respect machine start ginning up for Trump? My guess is that it’ll be about four years from now when Josh Hawley is seriously on the verge of becoming President. It’ll sound like this: “At least he was for gay rights.”

It’s because he’s an asshole. Nobody can stand to be around him.

A while back Peter Brimelow wrote at Vdare that the people who run for President tend to be sociopaths. Obama was the POTUS at the time.

I’ve had enough experience around enough elected politicians, in two countries now, to know that you have to be something of a special kind of conceited even to try to pursue public elected office at a certain high enough level.

The difference is that his own party can’t stand him. Being an asshole to one’s enemies is fine. Being an asshole to one’s allies and supporters is not. Trump has managed to piss off everybody who ever supported him. That’s why no one who matters is supporting him now.

As for why the Cathedral hates him….He doesn’t care what they think. They’re used to Republicans cucking. They just can’t imagine anyone ignoring them, so they’re stomping their feet and throwing their blocks.

Still, they hate him because he’s an asshole. It sort of fits in with your third choice. Trump just won’t listen to “reason”. He doesn’t apologize, make excuses, or try to explain himself. He not only disagrees with them, he rubs their faces in it.

Remember how Rush Limbaugh used to go on about liberals whining because, “Nobody should be that sure of themselves?” Same thing.

It’s not his party though; he merely used them as a platform, because the dems are cunts and H.Ross ruined it for independents. Trump said, I think at the 2016 convention, he was going to “show [repubs] how to win”. They don’t want to win. If they did, they would have put up a fight more than occasionally, and fought dirty if necessary.
FFS, they “cut a deal” decades ago with a fed judge to not protest election results in minority precincts. Then with a straight face, they complain that a roomful of niggers tearing up ballots won’t allow observers to observe them tearing up ballots. That’s like Charlie Brown being forced to sign a contract that Lucy will always pull the football away at the last second, and then the dumb MF still keeps playing a rigged game with her. They are losers because they want to be losers. If they ever become winners, the cause will be (1) Trump made them winners, against their wishes, or (2) mortal realization the Left is no longer content to drink the R’s milkshake, they now want blood.

I’ve reached an age were I find myself in a retrospective mood most of the time. With this subject I’ll have to make more than one comment.

First, Nixon went to China for the reason most of the political class approved of. The idea was to “civilize” them and “bring them in.” As it turned out, Mao was replaced by technocrats who kept the Communist dictatorship while “liberalizing” the economy.

In the long run, it hasn’t worked as China has become an active economic enemy. Though making the USA into what it is hasn’t helped.

My opinion is the major reason for the hatred of Donald Trump by the entire Media/Political/Big Tech/Etc class was his stance on the “immigration” issue. The “Build the Wall” idea drove them into a psychotic rage. This made them call for Trump to be impeached before he was even nominated.

Remember when Rick Wilson demanded “the donor class put a bullet in Trump?”

Yep his opposition to the #1 agenda of the “second theory” above mentioned brought their vitriol upon him. We are like Gulliver, they are the Lilliputians in a mad race to tie down the giant before he awakens to what’s up. They were afraid he might stop them before they finished the job.

Trump’s ability to rally Traditional America is what scared the heck out of a lot of his detractors. Traditional America did not tolerate evil, and these Hollywood celebrities etc are evil people. Trump’s questionable morals not withstanding Traditional America did not tolerate corruption, pornography, premarital sex, fatherlessness, homosexuality, black misbehavior, divorce, childlessness, endless strangers colonizing their land, etc. Evil was all the things from a secular view that would be classified as behaviors that make a society Darwinianly Unfit for long term survival and perpetuation. All the vices our elites so love, they know deep in their hearts that their behavior is destructive and know in the long term a reckoning will come. They fear Traditional America will return and stop them, but probably more likely these fatherless bastards and minorities will become so incompetent they are no longer able to maintain our military edge and a hostile foreign power will conquer the coveted North American Continent some time in the future. No woke society of feminists and bastards can compete with a patriarchal society with it’s group cohesion intact.

My favorite whipping boy these days is the GOP, which I blame for the rain.

For generations, the GOP has been the enemy of the White American working and middle classes, and has bent over for the Reds. The Reds marched through the institutions, because the party claiming to be of patriots raised no resistance to them.

Had the GOPers smacked the Reds in the mouth on a regular basis, the latter would have learned some restraint. Instead, they became “people who wouldn’t take ‘yes’ for an answer.”

“Why?”
I think the key is Trigglypuff. Solve that, then multiply by 66 million.

About this “but he’s an asshole” talk. Like I said, see also about half of the first 44, the worst in the post-WWII era was LBJ. So that’s hardly an answer for the fundamental question.

To return to the “but he’s an asshole” theme, Peter Brimelow wrote in 2017: “From my personal observation, most professional politicians are psychologically odd.”

Brimelow wrote this in a Vdare column urging President Donald Trump to go full Nationalist and “wheel and fight.” For the most part Trump did not take Brimelow’s advice.

Regarding the fundamental question, the hatred the Blogmeister referred to was around 50 plus years ago. This (https://nicholasstixuncensored.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-forgotten-man-and-forgotten-history.html) essay in four parts at Nicholas Stix Uncensored refers to the hatred directed at not only a particular politician but his supporters as well.

Richard Whalen’s 1972 book, Catch the Falling Flag, told of Whalen joining Richard Nixon’s team in 1967 and quitting at the 1968 GOP convention. Whalen foresaw Nixon’s eventual downfall.

At his first meeting with Nixon:

“We talked for a time about liberals and conservatives, about the enmity he aroused in the Alger Hiss case. ‘That was twenty years ago-they never forget do they?’ Nor would they ever forgive him, I suggested, for being a representative of the new American middle classes. The left-liberal intellectuals and journalists despised middle-class ‘bourgeois’ values and the ‘square’ culture. Nothing that Nixon could say or do would appease them. He threatened their status as an antidemocratic elite in much the way that Lyndon Johnson did, and he could expect the same vindictive assaults Johnson was experiencing.”

Donald Trump is not exactly from the “square” culture but the left sees his voters as such. My view is the left hates Trump voters above all else.

My view is the left hates Trump voters above all else.

Yep. I was gonna comment on that, but I didn’t get around to it. Part of it is that they hate us, so they take it out on Trump. We also ignore them, don’t care what they think, and tell them to get fucked.

That would allude to #2 and #3, sorta.

Theory #2 makes no sense. The joke in the Jewish community is: What’s the difference between Trump and a liberal Jew from New York? Answer: Trump has Jewish grandchildren.

His son in law is Jewish, his daughter in law has Jewish family on her father’s side, Ivanka converted when she married, hence the Jewish grandchildren. Orthodox Jews throughout the world love and revere him.

15 11 2020

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.

However, all that being true does not necessarily mean that #2 can’t possibly be true. And, because, as of right now, it’s my leading theory, I happen to think both things are simultaneously true.

Another factor is what you said — Orthodox. It is my understanding that other Jews mentally and ideologically marginalize them.

LBD

There are many observant Jews who do not outwardly appear Orthodox, and they are solidly for Trump. Many secular Jews have left the Left because of their scabrous anti-Semitism, usually couched as concern for Palestinian human rights. That said, there are too many of my coethnics who substituted left wing politics for religion. Somehow they think people won’t notice that their anti Americanism is coupled with their secular Jewish identity. When you play identity political games, your identity matters.

Human nature being what it is, a lot of Jews were enthusiastic Lefties until they became targets. Daniel Horowitz was a left wing activist until his friend was murdered by the Black Panthers. He has spent the last thirty years as a warrior for the right.

90% of Trump Derangement Syndrome is just white-hating racism by another name, the overarching fear that the white slaves will bolt the plantation. Indeed, the hysteria is similar to that of slave owners in the pre-Civil War South. Non-whites (including the clever ones), woke women, the government, Wall Street, the Pentagon, all live as parasites off of the white population (and not just economically), and are frightened to death of losing their meal ticket. The importation of millions of foreign colonialists has given them the power to drop the pretense that we’re not a slave state, that modern American culture is not defined by white-hating racism and exploitation, and that the government is not shaped by that culture.

They don’t have to pander to the “Silent Majority” anymore, they’re free to let their hate-flag fly. They hated Reagan and the Bushes as well but had to show some restraint, otherwise ’72 and ’80. They’re on the verge of dictatorship, thanks to the treason of the GOPe and its idiotic followers on immigration. The hate isn’t just directed at Trump but at the entire white population, a genocidal level of hate. The chaos on the streets, the tearing down of the statues, isn’t driven by BLM issues, it’s a manifestation of one population being slowly replaced by another.

It's your dime, spill it. And also...NO TROLLS ALLOWED~!
