Duh, He Wants to Win

Washington, D.C.

Latest cuckbitching in NRO (pph):

“Trump is moving the party away from libertarianism and toward populism.”

Duh, because he wants to win, not lose.

“Trump never uses words like freedom, liberty, free market.”

That’s right, he doesn’t talk talk talk and write write write about freedom, liberty, free market, like the great conservative media do a whole lot.  Just don’t notice that we keep voting for more of this freedom and liberty that NRO keeps talking and writing about and on balance wind up getting less of both.  That, and the cynical half of both my audience and my self will say that what lamer cons and cucks mean by “freedom,” “liberty” and “free market” is the freedom of the billionaire and corporate cabal and cartel to rape the underlying society and culture in order to make another buck or two.

“How can this be happening in the wing of politics that sparked the Tea Party Movement?”

Because the TPM, like other activist elements of the right, including the Christian conservatives (“religious right”), have discovered that they’ve just been used for votes and then ignored after the election results are certified.  They won’t put it in these terms, but I know that many high level TPM activists have realized that, in spite of their own demands and pressure to make the Republican establishment weaker, all their efforts have accomplished is on balance to make it stronger, not weaker.  So, why not vote for Trump to spite the party establishment?  Trump’s mild immigration patriotism and economic nationalism make it all the better.

“mild immigration patriotism”

I’d like to see Mr.Trump use the following as one of his campaign slogans:

“Damn the torpedoes, deport all illegals! TRUMP 2016!!!”

Or something like that.

An implication of your article is that some percent of the poor old Republican electorate may be pushing Trump’s numbers *as an act of revenge* for all those hopeful votes they’ve wasted on smooth-talking cons in the past.

Every time a new poll comes out that shows good numbers for Trump, it’s like administering an electric shock to the wired-up cuckservative establishment. The more they squirm and yell, the better we feel. Revenge at last!

If he did use the words “freedom”, “liberty” and “free market”, everyone would think he’s full of shit like the rest of the lot.

Of course the media loved Rand Paul’s attempt to pander to blacks. Because they knew what this article winds up telling us, that it gains you virtually no black voters and loses you a whole lot of other voters, especially whites.

Likewise, I’m sure Stalin should have taken Hitler’s advice on how he should have resisted Operation Barbarossa.

I don’t believe Trump isn’t attracting new people, I just happen to think that polling only Republican loyalists and leaners will miss that. In fact, there has been a credible theory that Trump will actually do better when voting actually comes on February 1 than the polls suggest, because Republican only polls miss non-Republicans.

This also says that Ted Cruz has been by far the candidate that Trump has taken the most blood away from, and suggests that he wouldn’t get that support back even if Trump falls apart. Like I said when Trump announced, he started a demolition derby. This also explains why Cruz has been so chummy with and about Trump, because he hopes that he can get all his former people back and also Trump’s people if Trump falls apart.

Gavin McInnes a while back referred to Donald Trump as ‘Ted Cruz’s Snow Plow’. Gavin states that Trump will push all the other candidates out of the race clearing a path for Cruz.

I am not so sure. Trump’s popularity has surprised me. I live in a deep blue region and often feel I am pretty alone in my views on immigration. Basically I want us to go back to where we were in 1924.. no illegal immigration and severely restricted legal immigration.

I guess there are a lot more people who feel like I do. Cruz blows it on the legal part, in particular regards to H1-B Visas. Cruz would gain more traction if he instead pushed to restrict (or eliminate) H1-bs, ending the abuse of them.

When Trump announced, I presumed he was going to start a demolition derby that was going to mean that some candidates who thought they were in for the long haul were going to end up dropping out a lot sooner than they thought, and would also keep some otherwise fringe candidates alive longer than they thought, and would result in the actual nominee being surprising, just not Trump. Well, all that’s out the door. However, so far, my prediction that Trump would hurt Cruz is turning out to be right. Cruz is soft peddling Trump because he thinks he can harvest the remnants if Trump falls apart. Cruz lost a lot of his people to Trump, and Cruz thinks he can get back his former people and get some new ones. But, polling now is showing that even Cruz’s former supporters won’t go back to Cruz by and large if Trump implodes.

I have a similar article for the weekend. You’ll just have to wait for my quick and dirty analysis.

They may be reading the polls wrong. If I was a South Carolinan who hated Lindsay, I wouldn’t want him to drop out, but ride that 3% all the way to the convention. If he quits, that 3% will just go to Uncle Ben Carson or Yeb.

“Trump is moving the party away from libertarianism and toward populism.”

Say what?

The GOP is and has been no more libertarian than it is paleocon.

Speaking of the cucks, the Great Cuck Intellectual George Will in his recent column defended the idea of a presidential candidate speaking a foreign language. What is the precedent Will cited?

Will told of Abraham Lincoln in the 1850’s subscribing to a German-language newspaper and learning to speak German.

So there.

I miss the ’80s. I had a job interview in a remote industrial section of Riverside CA in 1988, and in a vacant lot on the corner was an enormous, tattered-with-age sign pushing the Libertarian Party candidate and describing both major parties as “media-backed red fascists.” Despite the low-budget grassroots campaign, with the widespread torrent of whites out of LowCal, the local GOP obviously felt compelled to try to co-opt every white group they could to win elections. So throughout the ’90s, more and more libertarian hoo-ha was incorporated into the GOP platform, and any pro-white sentiment was completely expunged. This probably just mirrored what happened nationally in the late ’60s, as the GOP adopted race-blind “law & order” as the respectable alternative to explicit pro-white southern Dems. But there was a time, on the local level at least, where libertarian BS just would not fly in the GOP.

It's your dime, spill it. And also...NO TROLLS ALLOWED~!
