That Wrong Crowd Again

He fell in with the wrong crowd.

That’s what the man’s father slash the kid’s grandfather is saying, about the adult in this pic.

Actually, if anyone “fell in” with the wrong crowd, it’s the kid, because the kid was unlucky enough to have a father that was the wrong crowd.   Unfortunately, we have no indication here that he (the adult) was turning his life around.

From the article:

“I am just so distraught over the death of my son and grandson. Deshawn got into the wrong crowd. It’s just a senseless killing. I don’t know what’s behind it,” said Terry Smith, Butler’s father.

Oh my, three stupid cliches in one sentence.  Deshawn was the wrong crowd, it was not a senseless killing, and we all know what was behind it:  TNB.

Here’s one curious thing that jumps out at me:  The grandfather is “Terry Smith,” the son was “Deshawn Butler,” and the kid was “Deshawn Kinard.”  It’s not unusual for a son to have his father’s first name, but it’s very unusual for him not to have his father’s last name at the same time.  And we have three generations of men all with different surnames.

It says in the story that the father had the kid properly fastened in a car seat.

So you see? Good father.

It's your dime, spill it. And also...NO TROLLS ALLOWED~!
