Mum’s the word from the Bell Curve City P.D., but they showed up in force at Bell Curve H.S. today to prevent retaliation.

Like we need to know what’s going on, because ooks have been doing it to each other for time immemorial:  Good ole tribal warfare.

In maybe related news…we have a weird murder in Granite City.  He was white and 13 years old, and was said to have gotten along with everyone.  But as you can read in the story, he was an eighth grader at an “alternative” school in GC, and as you can see in a video, he had a friend named “Mahmoud,” who says that he “could hang out with anybody.”  That might have been his problem:  He might have been hanging out with the wrong kind of “anybody” last night, and one of the anybody’s enemies drove by and opened fire.  Now as far as potential doers, that block is in a census tract that is 14% ook, and it is next to a census tract that is 25% Hispanic, even though GC itself is mostly white/working class.
