Gelsenkirchen, about halfway between Essen and Dortmund, is a town we passed through but did not stop in.  We had all of two days in the Rhine-Ruhr Region, and a lot to take in, including the side diversion to Venlo just to cross The Netherlands off the bucket list in a perfunctory sense.  So we had to make some sacrifices.

And also, those wonderful Turks we dumped on West Germany.  Amurrika, Fuck No!

* Speaking of, I see the UFC is holding a card tonight in H*****g, meaning this afternoon our time, which means it has probably already started now.  That said, because it’s in H*****g, I’m surprised an army of Antifas aren’t there trying to shut it down, because toxic masculinity and cisheteronormativity.

I’m also surprised that the UFC as far as a German city picked H*****g, rather than a city where I saw with my own eyes that MMA is the most popular in the whole country, that being Dortmund.

* Trump is getting the left to turn against communism so intensely that they’re doing it to ultra-McCarthyite levels.  Is there anything Trump can’t do?

I think Trump’s approval rating in Israel is higher than it is in any country in the world.

* Sure, they love being humanitarian, just as long as the humans they’re being humanitarian toward aren’t too close to their own human units.  In the case of Lund, she would much rather the humans in need of humanitarianism be unloaded in some far off suburban cookie cutter AFFH apartments.
